Memorie.al publishes some archival documents issued by the Authority for the Information of the Files of the former State Security, where there is a voluminous file (the processing form file with 433 pages and the investigative and judicial file with 632 pages) in charge of Gjet Kadel, originating from the village of Bulshar in Oroshi of Mirdita and living in Bushnesh and Mamurras of Kurbin, former political prisoner in the communist regime of Enver Hoxha and his successor, Ramiz Alia, who spent 16 years in communist camps and prisons, as in Spaç, Burrel, etc. As we will see from the documents that are in the file in charge of Gjet Kadel, which is published for the first time by Memorie.al, the surveillance and pursuit of him began in 1957, when he was 17 years old, with the information report of the State Security officer, Fahri Kraja, (based on the data of the Security associate with the nickname “Dylli i Bardhë”, with the approval of the Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kruja district, lieutenant colonel Muhedin Këxhalliu) , continued even during the period he was in camps and prisons, such as in Spaç, where after the revolt of May 1973, Gjeta was sentenced again, as he was the main ideator for raising the flag without the communist star, continuing then in the prison of Burrel, with the reports-information of the Operative Worker, Piro Nuredini, etc., about Gjeta’s conversations with other convicts of that prison, such as: Pjetër Arbnori, Daut Gumeni, Abdulla Sallaku, Spartak Ngjela, Avni Aliko, Luan Burimi , Çaush Çoku, Kapllan Resuli, Bardhosh Gjonzeneli, Bashkim Shehu, etc. The surveillance and follow-up of Gjet Kadel continued even after his release from prison in 1987, continuing until January 1991, with the collapse of the communist regime, when his file was finally closed and archived in the secret archive of the former State Security. In the same way, an important place in the said files is also occupied by letter correspondence of Gjeta and his family, with their father, Pjetër Kadeli, former soldier of the Monarchy of Zogu, who had blown up the prison cells of Internal Branch of Rrëshen on July 28, 1950, stayed for some time in the mountains on the run, and then in 1951, secretly returned to Mirdita, took his son, Gjoni, and escaped to Yugoslavia and then to the USA- es, where he stayed as a political emigrant, until the beginning of the 90s, when he returned permanently to Albania. During this period of almost 35 years since Gjet Kadeli has been followed and monitored by the State Security, a total of 33 associates of the State Security have been engaged and activated against him, who have given their reports, starting from “White Wax” in 1957, until the “Mountain Swallow” in 1990, which will be reflected in full, as they are in the relevant files.

AGENCY MASS PLAN – OPERATIVE FOR THE FOLLOW-UP OF THE KADELI OBJECT.
The convict Gjet Kadeli, came by transfer from Ward 303 Spaç, which is followed in II/A, as a Yugoslav intelligence agent, who during the investigative process, was not analyzed as such, but from the development of the investigative process, in charge of Adem Mujo and his group, it turns out that Gjeta was recruited by Angjelina Sokoli, a Yugoslav immigrant, she is currently repatriated to Yugoslavia and through this, she sent information to the Yugoslav embassy.
In order to achieve the dismantling of this object, as an agent of the Yugoslav Intelligence, we think that in cooperation with the Krujë Interior Department, the following agentural-operative measures should be taken:

He reports on the task given at the beginning of September 1975, on his conversation with Gjet Kadel, regarding his father’s escape.
From the conversations held on September 16 and 19, 1975, he started the conversation regarding the action that Simon Jubani did recently. He told Gjeta that, not only you, Gjet, have Simon as your soulmate, you revolted, but we all were also affected by what happened. Then Gjeta told him: “The existence of this type of communism in Albania has interested the free world because, pointing the finger at who communism is, the world has noticed because this type of communism is cannibalism, where does it eat man to man.
So, no one has damaged this communism more than our Hoxha (the main leader of the Party). These (the main leadership are the psychopaths of the Second World War, Hitler’s students. You don’t see only prisons and shootings, now 30 years and whatever these are, until the last moment, they will sow victims). This is the food of their life.
My father, he knew his teeth and his teeth and worked on them for beauty. He has shown all five continents what a country of criminals Albania has become and guess how much, he helped my father. He reports that, on 29/9/1975, as after the assignment, he went to Burrel prison and met with Gjet Kadel, after greeting him, at first, he apologized for not going to meet him before. but to tell the truth, he told Gjeta, I also had problems and I’m alone and I was afraid that they wouldn’t talk to me. He told him that; when Gjet was sentenced, I didn’t know the date because I didn’t leave it without coming, in response, Gjeta told him that; what did you do, or were you uncomfortable, Gjeta said that; I fixed the flag and raised it in Spaç, where the revolution took place, for this, I did not tell anyone except you, because I have been sentenced for another 6 years, and he ordered not to tell anyone, he promised not to.
He says that; I was worried that, when Adem Muja was sentenced, I didn’t have the opportunity to go to court because I was in the choir, but I was surprised by the fact that Angjelina Sokol was sent to Yugoslavia, at the time when Adem Muja was sentenced, who turned out to be collaborator with them, how is it possible, he tells her, Gjeta said that; It’s not true, but it was the plan to put them in, with that and how much I ate, said Gjeta, Gjon Hoti and Ndocin….. who works in the Mamurras office and for the daughter of Gjon Marka Gjon and for a priest in Milot. He told him; you had conversations with them, yes, says Gjeta, but I didn’t accept anything about them, because I didn’t want to put them in prison because, if I wanted to, I would have been punished very little, but I didn’t want to become a spy, he told him that; you Gjet, you are mean, you didn’t tell me about these at all.
Geta told him that; in the Burrel prison, I became very excited because we read books in Italian, he told him that where they let you learn Italian, yes, says Gjeta, they are free, among other things, I studied near a priest for religion, that in prison, we have three priests who are philosophers and one of them, they isolated him, who taught me a lot, he told him that; I am surprised that, as far as I have seen, the dictatorship of the proletariat is coming and getting stronger, the class war is taking place, slogans against religion are being written, and others, while you are studying with a priest in prison.
Gjeta ordered that, when they don’t insult the religion, that Turkey fought for 400 years, but did not win, that’s why it should be seen that the Soviet Union is building churches and mosques and Kosingin goes and falls on his knees to the Pope of Rome, that’s why one must stand well against religion. Geta told him that; I have been sentenced for 16 years and more than 2 years, I don’t do it, the situation will change, because it has been put on the street for good and 30 years have passed.
Gjeta ordered him not to talk to people who will take you by the neck, that you have many children and there is no one to take care of them, that I have a strong aunt and mother, he told him thank you for the order , that you are smarter, yes, says Gjeta, I have appeared 3 times in court and in the investigator, he ordered him to go to Gjeta’s house and tell them that it is good, and to order him not to they say to whom you came to meet me.
He told him; don’t get bored in prison and don’t deal with all the prisoners, but with 5-6 people, Gjeta told him that; I don’t deal with anyone because there are spies who will burn you and before the prisoner reports, than the police, I have been reprimanded because I stay alone. That was the end of the conversation.
