Memorie.al / Today were the anniversary of my mother’s passing. For days I have been thinking about what to write about her. A text specifically for this day did not seem to me like something valuable. I think something that simultaneously draws the attention of friends, as well as those who do not know her, is worth more. This idea was reinforced by the fact that a few days ago I applied to the Authority of Files (Authority for Information on Former State Security Documents) for possible documentation concerning my mother. I currently possess a limited number of documents, some of which I have published before.
Today, I am giving the full text of a document that I found in the file of a family friend, Eqerem Muja, in which the communist regime’s opinion about my people is given in a way.
In this writing, the photos include the State Security (Sigurimi) cards, which put my mother, Qefsere, along with my aunt, Feride, under surveillance as early as 1974, specifically 20.02.1974. The cards bear the numbers 573 and 574.
What matters most in this whole story is the fact that the regime did not persecute and oppress individuals, but families. Even these few documents that I am publishing here precisely demonstrate this diabolical approach. Below, the 1987 document, transcribed from Eqerem Muja’s file.

From the verification we have made, Qefsere Kolgjini is the wife of Ahmet Kolgjini, who has been sentenced for hostile activity. Ahmet and Feride Kolgjini are the children of Tahir Kolgjini, who has escaped and acted as a saboteur against our country. While Refat Kolgjini is not known on our part.

The source reports that he met with Eqerem Muja, where during conversations he asked him how his father was, had he heard any news. Eqerem said that he had heard through letters and that his father had helped him with dollars, but the Albanian government had not given him the money, as much as he was entitled to.
He reports that on 18.4.1987, he saw that Feride Kolgjini along with Qefsere Kolgjini came to visit Eqerem Muja’s house, but he does not know what conversations they had.

Clarification: Eqerem Muja is under active processing 2/A as an agent of Greek Intelligence. Feride Kolgjini is the sister of Ahmet Kolgjini, while Qefserja is his wife, both registered in the contingency list.
Assessment: The data is valuable only for confirming the family connection of Eqerem Muja with Ahmet Kolgjini, which raises suspicions that they are engaged in common hostile activity as a family.
Task: Eqerem is interesting, as Feride and Qefsere have stood very firm, because Ahmet, even though he spent 10 years in prison, they have stood by him. But you will say that he is their husband and brother, but there are some who would leave you stranded.
