Memorie.al / It is estimated that during the war in Kosovo (1998-1999), Serbian military and paramilitary forces killed, executed, or massacred in the most heinous ways about 15,000 Albanians, 90% of whom were unarmed civilians…! During this period, nearly 20,000 Albanian women were raped. Also, it is reported that over 3,000 Albanians were abducted, of whom some were found in mass graves in Serbia after the war, while the fate of 2,087 others remains unknown. According to estimates, during the period March 1998 – June 1999, Serbian criminal units and heavy artillery partially or completely destroyed and burned about 1,100 Albanian settlements, looted, burned, and destroyed over 200,000 houses, residences, business premises, craft workshops, factories, schools, libraries, cultural-historical monuments, cultural, scientific, religious facilities, etc.

What was found in the “torture center” in Pristina?

Traces of crime and criminals have been found in almost every settlement in Kosovo. On this occasion, I highlight the discovery of the so-called “torture center” in Pristina. In June 1999, during the entry of NATO troops into Kosovo, British units (the paratroopers), while inspecting public facilities in Pristina, discovered a room in a five-story building which had been used by Serbian criminal units as a center for torture and brutal killings of Albanians.

In these premises, cold weapons were found such as: bloodstained knives, rubber truncheons, baseball bats scratched from powerful blows, chests filled with drugs that the criminals had used during the commission of crimes, etc. These findings indicate that in this center of crime, many Albanians were tortured and brutally suffocated, having body parts cut off: ears, noses, extremities (feet and hands), genital organs, etc.

Cold weapons: such as knives, bayonets, spades/shovels, bloodied ropes for strangulation, drugs, and syringes for drug administration were also found in the Gollak region, in the village of Dresnik in Peja, in Rrthina in Rahovec, as well as in Celina and Krusha e Madhe, etc.

Concluding (but this is not the end…) I say without hesitation that:

These are the barbarians who are not pursued by UNMIK, nor KFOR, nor the fragile institutions of Kosovo…, no one…!!! / Memorie.al
