This is stated, among other things, in a report-information compiled by the Operative Worker of the State Security, of the Kurbnesh area, Nuri Manoku, dated April 17, 1989, addressed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he with the knowledge of his superiors, for the closure and permanent archiving of the file in charge of Agron Hazbiu, since on January 28, 1989, he had lost his life in tragic circumstances, in the mine of Kurbnesh, where he had been working since 1982, when he had been sent by his family with deportation measure, in that mining town in one of the deepest areas of the Mirdita district.

COMBINATION PLAN
FOR COLLISION AND HEARING BY VEHICLE T.O. OF “GOLD” OF THE CITIZENS OF G. SH. AND P.B.
On 28.1.1989, the guard officer received a notification that the Agron Hazbiu facility had an accident in the Kurbnesh mine, and immediately after this notification, measures were taken to verify the situation.
From the versions raised, it turned out that G. Sh. may have been killed by the workers present who were working with him and P.B.
In order to clarify the version raised by us, measures were taken to make their collision and conversations heard by our means, T.O. “AR”.
To achieve this goal, the following measures were taken:
On the part of the Operative Worker, Nuri Manoku, two citizens, G. Sh. and P. B., to be near the offices of the People’s Council, where its office is located.
Their call will be made in the evening hours, near the yard of the office of the Operative Worker, Nuri Manoku, where the tools of T.O. were previously assembled. “AR” on a piece of plastic pipe, leaving it where it was previously thought that conversation could take place.

From the conversations held, it emerges that:

“FOR INTERRUPTION OF PROCESSING 2/A OF AGRON HAZBI”
I, Operative Worker, Nuri Manoku, officer of the Internal Affairs Branch, Rrëshen, after studying the documents of the processing file 2/A, with number 1424, of Agron Hazbi
I FOUND:
Agron Hazbiu, is the son of Kadri and Hedija, born in 1959, born in the city of Tirana, formerly living and under internment in Kurbnesh, Mirdita district, currently deceased, with a higher education, by profession a clerk (physical education teacher ), unmarried, unorganized, unconvicted, with Albanian nationality and citizenship.
The political attitude of Agron’s family before the liberation and the National Liberation War was good, but both from the father’s side and from the mother’s side, they were families of rich peasant origin, after the liberation of the country, they did not maintain a good attitude, even why his father, Kadri Hazbiu, became a member of the Politburo and Minister, after hiding from the Party, the hostile activity of the groups that the Party discovered, he seriously violated the Party’s line in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of People’s Defense, he was an agent of foreign intelligence and a member of Mehmet Shehu’s conspiracy group, as such, he was sentenced to death (Puskhatim).
After the arrest and conviction of his father, Kadri Hazbiu, like Agroni and all other members of his family, have maintained and maintain a bad political position, agitate and propagandize against the Party and the People’s Power, as such, three of them, Petrit, Elena and Agroni, were taken into processing 2/A, while the mother and sister (Hedija and Mimoza Hazbiu) are registered as contingent. All under deportation measures, in Kurbnesh.
On 5.10.1983, Agroni was taken into active processing 2/A, with a tendency for agitation and propaganda against the People’s Power and as a close family connection of the enemy Kadri Hazbiu. The processing period has been extended, twice by six months and twice by one year.
During the time of its processing, especially after 1987, it was followed as a more precedented and centralized object with the nickname “Fox”, where as a result of the operative-agent work, as well as the line of measures, it was possible to secure three pieces of evidence with legal basis proving his hostile activity, in the form of agitation and propaganda against the Party and its main leadership, defending his father as an enemy and other conspirators.
On 28.I.1989, the above object. Based on the above, also in point no. 11 of the list of skills of the Operational Evidence regulation, no. 01-27, dated 23.8.1986;
DECIDED:
To terminate his further processing at 2/A of Agron Hazbiu, for agitation and hostile propaganda, and to archive his file with a retention period forever, in the central archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the operational evidence sector, also performing the corresponding actions in the file.
