Court
After reviewing the statements issued by them in which they admit their guilt and the purpose they had, but make each other responsible for this activity. After reviewing the minutes on the outcome of the trial before the court of fact: After obtaining the opinion of the Prosecutor who seeks to decide the approval of the above trial act as appropriate and based on law: After studying the case from the point of view of facts and law.
He observes
In Facts all the above-mentioned convicts, before the liberation of Albania, were members of the Traitorous Organization of the National Front and the rest were mercenaries in the ranks of the Militia, Gendarmerie, Quisling Police and with these qualities served traitors and occupier consciously staying loyal until the liberation of Albania. The four upper military, taking advantage of the heart-size of our National Liberation Army and the amnesty granted by the Democratic Government in favor of the wrong elements, have been thrown into the ranks of the army by spreading disturbing and defeatist slogans against the Democratic Government, holding group meetings in order to organize a large-scale desertion from the ranks of the army, have propagated and agitated for desertion: With the support of civilians Faredin Angoni and Myrteza Clleusha have attempted and prepared to desert to cross the border and join the Greek reaction to the detriment of their Homeland. They had connections with other traitors and reactionaries as well as with Syrja Zoto and friends. Faredin Angoni and Myrteza Clleusha, being members of this organization and the Nazi-Fascist occupiers at the time of the occupation, after the liberation of Albania, ostensibly removed from their official-political life, engaged in trade but in fact continued their path. traitors, and disguised in their private lives by collaborators like Faik Tartari with friends have spread in the army disturbing and defeatist slogans against the Democratic Power, have inspired for desertion in the ranks of the National Liberation Army, have been actively made available to the military deserted and have been ready at any time and by any means to secure them to cross the border and be thrown into the mercenary ranks of the Greek reaction. The treacherous activity of all the above-mentioned convicts has been fully and convincingly proved by the minutes kept before the court of fact during the trial due to the deceitful allegations made by them as well as by the attributions, they make to each other from the testimony of witnesses.
In Law the Court has based its decision on the legal provisions and the punishment given against the convicts is appropriate and in proportion to the crimes committed by them against the Homeland and to the detriment of the National Liberation Army. Therefore: Considering the opinion expressed by the Prosecutor of this court and based on Article 31 of Law No. 41 dated 14 January 1945, on the organization and functioning of the Military Courts:

Polyglot professor who in the ’30s wrote the novel “Alexander and Olympia” and translated the masterpieces of world literature…?!
Who was Professor Fahredin Angoni?
Fahredin Myrteza Angoni was born in the city of Gjirokastra on January 18, 1908 from the well-known patriotic family of the Angons. He spent his childhood in his hometown where he finished primary school. In 1924, he went to the city of Korça to begin his studies at the French Lyceum, which he finished with good results in 1933. For purely family reasons, he could not continue his higher studies in France. He practiced teaching in Korça where he got married. Fahredini served as head teacher in the village of Pojan in the school years 1933-1937, together with teachers Virgjil Ballamaçi, Stasulla Zeqo, Nuçi Kondili, Krisanthi Kondili, and Krisanthi Kroi. During the school years 1938-1944, Fahredin Angonin served as head teacher in Progër, where he worked together with teachers Enver Heta, Aleko Ikonomi and Tefta Ikonomi, Isa Pupa and Dhimitër Shundi. In the school year 1944-1945, he was transferred as a teacher to Gollomboç. His desire for culture and knowledge led him to master satisfactorily many foreign languages, including French, English, Latin, German, and Italian. In 1929, for the needs of a folklore study that had as object the Albanian identity of the lands of the Greek minority in Dropull, he was forced to learn Greek as well. Family upbringing instilled in him a love for his homeland at a young age. For these reasons, with his skills for literature and connoisseur of foreign languages, Fahredin Myrteza Angoni, began his activity as a translator from European literature into Albanian, to acquaint the youth with European culture and life. Since he was a high school student, he translated many books from French, including “The Barber of Seville” and “The Genius Boy”. He also translated from German Goethe’s “Faustin”, as well as many other works for the youth library in the printing house “Dhori Koti” in the city of Korça. Kneaded with deep patriotic feelings, not enduring the Greek chauvinist expansion, he wrote the novel “Skenderi and Olympia” where he denounced the massacres of Greek gangs in southern Albania. Also, Fahredin was a declared intellectual and anti-communist, as his nationalist and pro-Western ideas were deeply at odds with communist ideology. Fahredini never believed in the future of the nation under communist rule, as he called communism an adventure theory, and he also knew Enver Hoxha very well, as he was a fellow citizen and a fellow student. For these reasons Fahredin Myrteza Angoni, in May 1945, was arrested through a State Security trap and along with several other anti-communist intellectuals was brought to justice. He was shot dead along with his accomplices in Zërvaska, Pogradec, while others in Bilisht and Kolonjë. The absurd accusation of the communist regime for which Fahredini and others were shot was for collaborating with the forces of the Greek reaction. A real paradox for a Greek anti-chauvinist like Fahredin Angoni. Fahredini left behind a very young wife of 33 years and three children at a very young age. After his shooting, the family succumbed to all the persecution and persecution of the infamous class war law. Fahreddin’s remains were found by his family only in 1994 after much searching. In the framework of the 75th anniversary of the National Lyceum of Korça, on October 25, 1992, with the decree no. 375, dated 30 November 1992, the President of the Republic, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, honored Fahredin Myrteza Angoni with the medal “Martyr of Democracy”, with motivation: “Teacher prepared pedagogically, with progressive anti-communist thoughts, for which he was executed by the communist dictatorship”./ Memorie.al
