Memorie.al publishes a file that was obtained some time ago by the institution of the Authority for the Information of Files of the former State Security, where the investigative, judicial and processing file of the citizen Kasëm Hoxha, originally from the village of Markat in Saranda and residing in the USA since 1985, when he was able to escape from Albania to Greece, after having suffered ten years in the Spaçi camp, convicted of “agitation and propaganda against popular power”. At the time of his arrest, on June 21, 1973, by the State Security bodies, of the Internal Affairs Branch of the Saranda district, some “compromising materials”, such as poems and tracts, were found in his house , where he called “for the overthrow of popular power”, etc. The file in charge of the citizen Kaso Hoxha, (now de-classified) begins with the processing, where the State Security bodies and the Department of Internal Affairs of the district of Saranda make every effort to find the author of the letter. with deep hostile content”, which was thrown in the center of Markat village (with residents of the Cham community), where after a long time, with the help of the Central Criminal Laboratory, near the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tirana, it became possible, in order to clarify and identify that the writing on that letter was Kaso Hoxha’s, this also led to his arrest. The file in question continues with the investigative and judicial process against him, where he, after suffering ten years in Spaçi prison, in November 1982 returns to his native village, Markat, where from the first days, he was followed and monitored. by the bodies of the State Security, who had engaged not only some associates of the Security, but also his close family members, this forced Kaso, to escape arrest, to escape from Albania, crossing the state border, to the state neighbors, Greece. After some time staying in the Llavros Camp, he gained the status of a political asylum seeker, to go to the United States of America, where even there, he continued to be followed and monitored by the State Security bodies (Albanian Political Intelligence, which was camouflaged with his residency, near the Diplomatic Mission in the United Nations Organization) and some of its secret agents, until 1991, when the communist regime in Albania collapsed. The story of Kaso Hoxha, became known after the publication of his book “Beautiful land, ugly people”, which he entrusted to Memorie.al in manuscript, now comes through the documents of the State Security, (where they are, reports of collaborators of the State Security, with their pseudonyms, letters, notes, information, relations, report-information, interceptions with operational techniques, etc., of the officers of the State Security, investigators, holders of the Department of Internal Affairs, of the district of Saranda, etc., to the residency of Political Intelligence in the USA, and its agents there), which begin in 1973 and end in 1991, when his file was archived once and for all.

The document with a summary of the letter denouncing the communist regime written by the fugitive Kaso Hoxha from Chicago, USA, sent to Ramiz Ali, by Petri Shijaku, the head of the letters and complaints department in the Central Committee of the PPS
Summary
Fugitive Kaso Hoxha from Chicago, America, in a letter over two pages typed in Albanian, addressed to the Central Committee of the Party and the Presidium of the People’s Assembly, raises these issues
The letter he sends (dated July 29, 1985) was not trusted to leave it at the border because it might not fall into your hands. He says those 12 years ago, he was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment, which he suffered in Spaçi camp and that he benefited from the pardon.
He claims that, just like before, and after his release from prison, he was subjected to a class war, as well as being sent to work in Reclamation in Minalem of Janjar, in Saranda. He says that the reward was small, as much as 5 kg. bread.
With hatred, he writes especially about the cadres who run the economy, calling them, “reeve young, degenerate people, who mock the sweat and blood of poor”. It is written that: “Shefqet Rexho ended his career in shame and that the successor Myfit Husi did as they wanted by exploiting the people, causing half of the Markaqots to take the escape route”.
“The noble moneybags were overthrown and their place was taken by the rich graceless”, who, according to him, look after personal interests, steal the people’s wealth, etc.
The letter writer also expresses his hatred towards his wife whom he describes as the cause of his suffering. He says that one day, if he will be given the opportunity, he will also include this issue in a book.
We think that if the letter is deemed reasonable, it should be given to comrade Hekuran Isai, because maybe you need it for their work.

According to the fugitive Qemal Panariti, at the beginning of November 1985, a Swedish journalist from “Express” went to Qemal’s house in order to talk about the problem of the disappearance of Dilaver Hasa from Sweden, and where he is currently.
When Qemali asked him who had given him his address and who had addressed it to him, the journalist replied that the fugitives, Irfan Bushati and Kadri Biçaku, had given him Qemali’s address, as he would become a article about the disappearance of Dilaver Hasa, as well as about the people who have a hand in his disappearance.
Qemali, after listening to the journalist, told him that he had no relationship or contact with Dilaver Hasa and that he did not know that Dilaver had left Sweden. That Dilaver Hasa was ………… escaped from Albania, but not for political reasons.
When Qemali told him that he would notify the police, the journalist left. In the meeting that Qemali had with Irfan Bushati, the latter told him that the address of Qemali, the journalist, was given to him by the fugitive Kadri Biçaku.
As for Dilaver’s problem, Irfani told him that he had discussed everything he knew with the journalist, about the circumstances of Dilaver’s disappearance.
And that Dilaver was encouraged to flee to Albania by the fugitive Nexhmi Sharolli, who sheltered Dilaver in a house he had in his daughter’s name, and then Nexhmi connected Dilaver with the Albanian ambassador in Stockholm.
Irfani told him that he gave details to the journalist about Dilaveri’s situation in Albania, which the fugitive Sami Korri told him about. He learned this during his vacation in Greece from the fugitive Kaso Hoxha, who had been in a prison with Dilaveri.
According to the material provided by Irfan Bushati and Kadri Biçaku, the journalist wrote an article in the “Express” newspaper.

Position
As is known, the mentioned person came and stabilized there after escaping from our country last year. Regarding this person, we inform you that, on 26.11.1985, he sent a letter to the address of the Central Committee of the Party and the Presidium of the People’s Assembly, where he expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment that was given to him by the authorities in the district, from specific persons, as well as for the woman whom he considers the cause of his suffering.
Besides these, at the end of the letter, he states that he will write and publish the issue of his personal life, which according to him is full of suffering in our country, in a book.
It also states that: “He will remember and bow down with veneration for the soil where I was born and raised, for nature, for everything good and wise, and above all for my people and the house where I grew up”.
Through the “6856” source, they have polled him and it is known that he reacted negatively, however you will instruct the source to have him under permanent surveillance and process Kaso Hoxha more deeply. For this, the source has all the possibilities, since Kasoja has his own and that he is sheltered in his house.
From our side, we will take 2/A Kaso Hoxha into active processing, therefore the follow-up and active processing on your part must respond to the tasks of active processing. Mainly through this source, but also through other sources, to follow Kaso Hoxha’s possible hostile activity towards our country.
Priority should be given to any possibility of him engaging in sharp activity, to learn details of his stay on the “Hill”, possible connections with that Discovery, if he was co-opted by them and used later against us, etc. .
What other connections did he make in “Kodër”, who did he know there from the refugees in the Llavrio camp, etc. B.p. “6856”, to work to isolate him and withdraw him from propaganda and activity against our country, to document and follow the trends and connections he has created there, if he has joined or will join any reactionary organization, etc.
Also, through the source “6856” and other connections of this source with Kaso, such as Rexhep Hoxha, to influence him not to undertake the publication of the book, which he talks about in his letter?
It is important that Kaso Hoxha be processed in an all-round way and prevents the possibility of him participating in terrorist-subversive activities. Memorie.al
