Recently on Tv Scan was invited “Professor of People”, Professor Muntaz Dhrami, also considered as the legend of Albanian sculpture, after the great Odhise Paskali. During his testimony on the program “RREFIM”, moderated by journalist Albana Shehu Qirjako and authored by Dashnor Kaloçi, master Muntaz Dhrami, among other things, stopped by a visit he had made to the People’s Republic of China in 1972, ( together with the renowned writer, Ismail Kadare), composed of a delegation from the Albanian Writers and Artists League, headed by military writer Resul Bedo, who at the time held the post of Chief of Albanian Army Propaganda at the Ministry of National Defense …
Writer Resul Bedo held that post in the Ministry of Defense, due to his merits, as: “at the age of 15, he was one of the first to line up in the partisan gang” Cerciz Topulli “, then in the” Asim Zeneli “battalion. and later in the 6th Assault Brigade. During the War, he also participated in the battles in Yugoslavia, and after the liberation of the country, he would have been one of the military men who participated in confrontations with Greece during provocations at the border in 1949.
In the show, Master Dhrami indicated that their delegation was received with great esteem in the People’s Republic of China and given the fact that it was headed by Resul Bedo, who also held the post of Chief of Propaganda in the Albanian Army at the Ministry of Defense. According to the protocol, it was to be received by Chinese counterpart Chian Chi, Mao Zedong’s own wife, who held the post of director of China’s Red Army Propaganda. And so it was that, according to the Dharma, they were given a grand reception, where they walked on the red carpet surrounded by honor guards and under the sounds of the army’s spiritual band. Master Dhrami recalls that at those meetings, the writer Resul Bedo was in a military uniform and with decorations and medals beautifully put on his chest.
Following this meeting, the Albanian delegation was also received in a special meeting by Go Mo Zho, a reputed personality and very popular, who at that time held the function of Chairman of the Academy of Sciences of the People’s Republic of China.
According to the master Dhrami, after the occasional speech delivered by Go Mo Zho, he received a speech from Resul Bedo, who, after thanking his friend Go for the invitation and hospitality, addressed him at the beginning of his speech saying: “Comrade Go, you were not deepened in the self-criticism of your criticism of Comrade Mao in his report… ” Dhram recalls that these words were dropped like a bomb on both of them, and writer Ismail Kadare became angry and angry with Resul Bedo, so much so that he could not restrain himself, and at the height of his anger intervened by speaking words through his colleague Bedo even though he was chairman of the delegation. But while Kadare’s interference with Bedo was tactful, master Muntaz Dhrami recalls that he himself spoke more vehemently to Bedo, even openly, as he was closer to Kadare (among them), saying: “Resul, what are these brooches releasing us here…. ”
But according to Dhram, (publishing for the first time on Tv Scan, and commenting on the rare photo where he appeared between Kadare and Resul Bedo at a meeting with the chairman of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Comrade Go Mo Zho, not only that he did not regret the “criticism” made by “Comrade Bedo”, but on the contrary, he valued it as “very principled” and dwelled long on the “work and effort he was making to improve all that it contained Comrade Mao’s criticism in the report presented to the Communist Party of China Congress. ”
In his testimony the “RREFIM” show, master Dhrami did not dwell on how and what he and Kadare discussed with their colleague Resul Bedo about the “incident” in meeting Go Mo Zho, and did Resuli ” such “criticism” at other meetings they held afterward ?! After he (Muntazi) left that delegation and continued his visits with other Albanian writers and artists who were then in the People’s Republic of China, while Resul Bedo and Kadare continued their visit to North Vietnam, at that time was at war with the Americans.
But it seems that military writer Resul Bedo, (a former partisan of the VI Attack Brigade), also issued “gems” in Vietnam, such as those with “friend Go Mo Zho.” Ismail Kadare in his memoirs and diaries, some of which have already been made public by his wife, Mrs. Helena Kadare, in her book “Insufficient Time” (ONUFRI Publishing, Tirana 2011), where, inter alia, this visit of Kadare and Rasul Bedo in Vietnam, she writes: “At one point, Ismaili said to himself: we were saved from death by the bite of these poisonous snakes, these Vietnamese will kill us themselves, as Rasul tells them to continue fighting and to continue further resistance, as they are exhausted and badly crushed after having a few months without moving from their positions … ”?!
