Memorie.al publishes a voluminous archival file issued by the institution of the Authority for Information of Former State Security Files, where there are hundreds of documents with the logo “Top secret” belonging to the former political prisoner, Xhavit Qesja, originally from the city of Kruja, whose family during the period of occupation of the country, 1939-1944, was closely associated with the Anti-Fascist Movement, being one of its main bases and made available all the wealth it had, as Xhavit was one of the first members of the Albanian Communist Party for the Kruja district, leading the Kruja-Ishëm partisan battalion and the 22nd Assault Brigade. Xhavit Qese’s political career after the end of the War, where he was appointed and served in senior positions in the Albanian Army, the apparatus of the Central Committee of the ALP, and several districts of the country, from where he was sent to study in the Soviet Union, where stayed until 1957, when he was announced to return to Albania urgently, after openly expressing his views in favor of the political line being pursued by the main Kremlin leader, Nikita Khrushchev, condemning the Stalin cult. Enver Hoxha’s conversation with Xhavit Qesen in his office in the Central Committee, where he sharply criticized him for the wrong views he had expressed during his studies in Moscow, urging him to reflect and make self-criticism, but Xhavit rejected the suggestion of the first secretary of the Albanian Labor Party, which caused him to no longer be allowed to go to the Soviet Union to complete his studies, but to be sent to work as deputy chairman of the Elbasan Executive Committee, from where a year later, he was expelled from the Party and exiled to Zvërnec Island, where the communist regime kept isolated some of the former senior party and state cadres whom he had condemned for their anti-party views. Xhavit Qesva’s long ordeal and persecution from 1957 to 1990, where he spent a full 32 years in prison and internment, being one of the few convicts in Burrell Prison who went on long hunger strikes in protest of the treatment and savage attitude of the communist regime of Enver Hoxha towards him. The complete form, investigative and judicial file in charge of Xhavit Qeses, which is published for the first time by Memorie.al, which contains the documents of the former State Security that reflect the prosecution and wiretapping against him, the reports of Security collaborators with pseudonyms their correspondence with the letters he sent to the highest party and state instances, as well as the highest leaders of the ALP, until 1991 when he was released from prison!

On some thoughts that can be briefly formulated from the various appearances of M.E.S. (anti-party-P.N.) Convicts
The military, who are even the most extremist in this regard, have gone so far as to deny everything good in our country and question any action or anything else. But even in these directions there are different views and opinions and that there is no unity, or not all openly express their opinion and views.
Thus e.g. there are those who speak openly of their views and who have completely lost faith in this leadership, or who expect only its complete overthrow. Such are Maqo Çomua, Bardhyl Belishova, Vaskë Gjino, Gjin Marku, Sadik Bekteshi, Muhamet Prodani and Abaz Fejzo.
Maqua and Bardhyl are also active, because not only do they talk openly about their views, but they also try to bring as many friends as possible around them, and for this they have almost constantly done a systematic job, talking separately with each other the other.
Their main view is that: the policy of our leadership is not right, as in building socialism with our forces, in foreign and domestic policy. As after them, nothing can be done without the Soviet Union.
“Whatever they do wherever they go,” says Maqua, “they will still be linked to the Soviet Union.” These February, have a great hostility and wait for this leadership to be overthrown and our country to be associated with the Soviet Union.
The rest of this group is of the opinion that: ‘the path and line that our Party follows, it is not right, it is dogmatic, sectarian or Asian communism’, as Xhavit Qesja called it.
These are for liberalism or for a “true democracy”. These include Todi (Lubonja -P.N.), Fadili (Paçrami-P.N.), Xhavit (Qesja-P.N.).
And the young military, especially Muhameti (Prodani-P.N.), Abazi (Fejzo), Andoni (Sheti-P.N.) Including the Vaska (GJINO-P.N.), are even lower in their attitudes and views. These, starting from a raging hostility, go so far as to deny any success, in almost all areas in our country.
These are removed even if they are aware of every sector and problem of the state, although here they have been painted for what is shallow and for their sector that have worked for a long time. They do not believe in anything, and for every problem that is spoken or read, they will say that it is a lie.
Halim Ramohito says that he is in a room with them and that he does not support their position: from morning till night, they deny and curse from Skanderbeg until today, they leave nothing dirty without saying “.
Recently, especially after the arrival of the new military, from the work done by Maqo Çomua with them, as well as from an elaboration made by Rahmani (Përllaku – PN), they managed to have some solidarity as a group, but more too two by two.
This appeared both in the thoughts they expressed, but also in some letters or complaints they made to the top leadership, because as seen, they talked and gave it to each other for reading.
This is how Muhameti (Prodani-PN) was seen, who almost talked about the letter he made to the Chief Leader with everyone, Abazi gave a long letter to Sadik to read and he approved, Rrahmani gave Halim the letter he had made The main leaders of the Party, while Halimi, says Kiçua, did not give Rrahman the letter he wrote to the main leader and Rrahman is dissatisfied with that.
Also recently, it is seen that all the military are very angry with Halim and especially Vaska. Here is what Vaska Halimi said on November 2, 1984: “You have accepted all the evils”. Halimi said: “I have accepted what I have done, but I do not betray the people of the Party, as you did with all the meanings you are saying here.”
Third: How do they think now, what do they do in their minds, how far does disbelief go:
A waiting situation for forgiveness generally appears. This is more because they start from what happened two years ago and the word that the Chief Leader said. But this cannot be said to appear the same by everyone, there are those who have a belief and expect with all their might that forgiveness can be made, but there are also those who say that nothing is done and have no faith in this leadership, such as the military.
There are also those who do not want forgiveness but rehabilitation. He finally gave us a category like Kichua and Rrahmani, who say that we want to apologize for going home without pretensions, as they state, but do not pray, because they say that our work is well known by the leadership. However, they also express a disbelief that they say, it scares us and this is not a good sign of the punishment of the last military that have come here.

Xhavit Qesja, Arif Hasko, Andon Sheti, Abaz Fejzo and Muhamet Prodani, have data in the general information file.
Evaluation: The report of the collaborator “The Repentant” is of operational value. It gives a picture of the current situation of convicts as anti-party elements serving sentences in Ward 321 Burrel (prison).
Task: The collaborator was instructed to maintain good relations in the category of the above and in addition to those ascertained by the collaborator, to handle conversations with the aim of learning problems of this nature and through conversations with others, especially with Kiço, who has even closer relationships, for the time being they are isolated in the room belonging to their friends, where our collaborator is missing.
The collaborator was also instructed to take advantage of the fact that he meets with the convict Bashkim Shehu, who is part of the second group of anti-party convicts, to engage in various conversations with him deliberately to learn about her views and attitudes category.
