At the time of his arrest, on June 21, 1973, by the State Security bodies, of the Internal Affairs Branch of the Saranda district, some “compromising materials”, such as poems and tracts, were found in his house , where he called “for the overthrow of popular power”, etc. The file in charge of the citizen Kaso Hoxha, (now de-classified) begins with the processing, where the State Security bodies and the Department of Internal Affairs of the district of Saranda make every effort to find the author of the letter. with deep hostile content”, which was thrown in the center of Markat village (with residents of the Cham community), where after a long time, with the help of the Central Criminal Laboratory, near the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tirana, it became possible, in order to clarify and identify that the writing on that letter was Kaso Hoxha’s, this also led to his arrest. The file in question continues with the investigative and judicial process against him, where he, after suffering ten years in Spaçi prison, in November 1982 returns to his native village, Markat, where from the first days, he was followed and monitored. by the bodies of the State Security, who had engaged not only some associates of the Security, but also his close family members, this forced Kaso, to escape arrest, to escape from Albania, crossing the state border, to the state neighbors, Greece. After some time staying in the Llavros Camp, he gained the status of a political asylum seeker, to go to the United States of America, where even there, he continued to be followed and monitored by the State Security bodies (Albanian Political Intelligence, which was camouflaged with his residency, near the Diplomatic Mission in the United Nations Organization) and some of its secret agents, until 1991, when the communist regime in Albania collapsed. The story of Kaso Hoxha, became known after the publication of his book “Beautiful land, ugly people”, which he entrusted to Memorie.al in manuscript, now comes through the documents of the State Security, (where they are, reports of collaborators of the State Security, with their pseudonyms, letters, notes, information, relations, report-information, interceptions with operational techniques, etc., of the officers of the State Security, investigators, holders of the Department of Internal Affairs, of the district of Saranda, etc., to the residency of Political Intelligence in the USA, and its agents there), which begin in 1973 and end in 1991, when his file was archived once and for all.

The source announces that from the conversation she had with Shaqo Sadik on 30.7.1985, she told him that; when the bride left together with Idriz Hoxha’s relatives, Kasem Hoxha together with Alem Hoxha hugged each other all the way. When Alemi got into the car, Kasem Hoxha got into the car and they hugged again.
From the conversation he had with Ballko Sharon and Feride Jonuzin, they told him that at the wedding, Alemi and Kasemi played and sang Greek songs and dances together. During the three days after the defeat of Kasem Hoxha, he saw Omer Bejko go to the house of Kasem Hoxha, Mazar Murto and Bardha Kushi.

From a data of the Third Directorate it appears that:
- Kasem Hoxha, a fugitive from Konispoli of Saranda, about 34 years old, has surrendered to the police of Filat of Igoumenica. Kasua has stated that he was in Spaçi prison together with 18 ministers and many senior officers, some of whom were shot, while another part is in prison. Based on the data presented by the country’s bodies, they have forbidden other people to meet with Kaso.
- The newly escaped from our country, Kosta Koçis, together with his son and another from the village of Markati in the district of Saranda, have gone to the USA in the city of New York. The source presents him as regretting the act of escape. He said that he ran away because he was fired from his job as a driver. It was also stated that: “I also sent a letter to the upper management and when I saw that the problem was not solved, then I decided to escape.” “He doesn’t speak badly about our country”
The other person from Markat village has been stabilized in Chicago. Based on the above, to verify who the above persons are, when and from where they escaped and if there are available materials in charge of them. “The fugitive Kaso Hoxha is currently in the Llavrio camp in Greece, and has stated that he can no longer return to Albania, that he only regrets his mother, while as for his wife, he will not even see her with his eyes. Because she, according to him, became the reason for his escape. He also stated that he is making efforts to stabilize in the USA.”
Based on the above, it follows that: Kasem Çerçiz Hoxha, from the village of Markat, escaped on 30.7.1985, continues to stay in the Llavrio camp in Greece, from where the possibility is not excluded that he will be sent as a saboteur to our country. To set up tasks to control his connections and clarify why his wife is the instigator of the escape.
