The documentary “Demons of Gina” tells the story of a very unknown character, Shpetim Gina, a journalist, playwright, screenwriter and librarian who, in the early 1970s, thanks to her extraordinary talent, work, work and creativity his, shook Tirana’s artistic institutions, such as the National Theater, Opera and Ballet Theater, Higher Institute of Arts and ART. Gina was one of the most sought-after chiefs and senior leaders of these cultural and artistic institutions, where in the period 1971-1974, he left his mark. But it is precisely these traces that he left in these cultural and artistic institutions in association with the well-known names of that time, unfortunately lost or dissolved in the dust of time. In August 1974, Shpetim Gina lost his life in still unclear circumstances, somewhere on the Droje river in Mamurras, where he was sent to conduct a military campaign. From then on, until the end of the communist regime, the name of Rescue Gina was never mentioned.
