Xhavit Qese’s political career after the end of the War, where he was appointed and served in senior positions in the Albanian Army, the apparatus of the Central Committee of the ALP, and several districts of the country, from where he was sent to study in the Soviet Union, where remained until 1957, when he was announced to return to Albania urgently, after openly expressing his views in favor of the political line being pursued by the main Kremlin leader, Nikita Khrushchev, condemning the Stalin cult. Enver Hoxha’s conversation with Xhavit Qesen in his office in the Central Committee, where he sharply criticized him for the wrong views he had shown during his studies in Moscow, urging him to reflect and make self-criticism, but Xhavit rejected the suggestion of the first secretary of the Albanian Labor Party, which caused him to no longer be allowed to go to the Soviet Union to complete his studies, but to be sent to work as deputy chairman of the Elbasan Executive Committee, from where a year later, he was expelled from the Party and exiled to Zvërnec Island, where the communist regime kept isolated some of the former senior party and state cadres whom he had condemned for their anti-party views. Xhavit Qes’ long ordeal and persecution from 1957 to 1990, where he spent a full 32 years in prison and internment, being one of the few Burrel prison convicts to go on long hunger strikes in protest of the treatment and savage attitude of the communist regime of Enver Hoxha towards him. The complete form, investigative and judicial file in charge of Xhavit Qeses, which is published for the first time by Memorie.al, which contains the documents of the former State Security that reflect the prosecution and wiretapping against him, the reports of Security collaborators with pseudonyms their correspondence with the letters he sent to the highest party and state instances, as well as the highest leaders of the ALP, until 1991 when he was released from prison!

(Xhevit Hajdar Qeses)
Xhevit Qesja, son of Hajdari and Sabrije, born in Kruja and today resident in the city of Elbasan, with profession N / Labor, with higher education, married with children, comes from a rich commercial class, never convicted, with Albanian citizenship and nationality.
During the anti-popular regime of Zog, if he finished primary school in the city of Kruja, he went to Tirana and continued his high school and in Tirana, he joined the Nac movement groups. Çl. In 1942, he escaped to the mountains with a group of friends and in 1943; he became the Commissar of the Kruja-Ishëm Battalion. With this duty as Commissar of the Battalion, he remained until September 1944 and at this time the 23rd Brigade was formed and he was appointed Commissar of the 23rd Brigade. Albania.
Attitude of family and tribe:
In the time of Zog, his father in Kruja, was the largest merchant in Kruja and one who was associated with Abaz Kupi. The source informs that on 27/12/1957, on Friday at ten o’clock in the morning, the meeting was held for the realization of the plan and after the meeting, he went to Tourism and there he met with Agron Frashëri, where Niko Adhami were present and Qamil Preçi, in the above conversations, talked about the control and the questions asked by the delegate of the Ministry of Industry, regarding the bottles of alcohol and the quantities of jam withdrawn from the canning for the sample in the director’s office, some people for advances in the form of loans from other employees.

The source informs that in November he had met with Xhavit Qesen, Nazim Batalli, and Maqo Lena, who went to Gaqo Ligori, who called them for lunch. After they started drinking a few glasses, Nazim’s health was raised two or three times, saying: “Let us drink this glass for the health of Comrade Xhavit, wishing him to fulfill his goals as soon as possible his”.
He said these words several times and it was understood that he had the word to complement Xhavit’s thoughts and performances. When these health conditions were restored, Xhavit thanked and drank brandy without saying a word.
During the month of December, he had gone to the village of Shtermen in Cërrik, together with Xhavit Qesen and some other friends etc.
When Gaqo Ligori asked to be given the surplus of the blessing, Xheviti intervened, saying with these words: “Aman, you expect to receive surplus from these, they do not give you, I know for sure, that they do not give grain”!
Such a thing negatively encouraged the villagers not to give surplus and in fact these expressions had an effect, as that day the villagers did not give any kilogram of surplus to the cooperative.
In a conversation he had with the chairman of the cooperative of Gjocaj village of Peqin district, the latter had told him that Xhavit Qesja had been there and had attended the meeting, he had not spoken a word as a man of the District Executive Committee, d. m .th., as he went, so he returned, leaving no good impression.
