THOUGHTS, MIRACLES AND SANCTIFICATION – HUMAN AND DIVINE WORKS OF LOVE AND HAPPINESS THAT INFLUENCED MOTHER TERESA’S SANCTIFICATION
Memorie.al / “I am God, I am sorry with all my heart for all the sins that I have committed, that I have sown the grave, I have deserved hell, but more than that I have insulted You, O infinite good that so strongly you want Mercy, O Lord! I’m sorry, oh God! I promise you, with your help, don’t insult me ever again”.
– It was this prayer that Saint Mother Teresa addressed to God every time. A loving person for everyone, her help to the sick, the needy, the homeless, the opening of schools and the eradication of illiteracy, influenced the whole world to recognize the humane spirit of Saint Mother Teresa. Influenced by the power of the Holy Scriptures, the Love of God and its influence on the seven-short Teresa but with a big heart, managed to break the authority of the global silence towards poverty and scarcity that prevailed at that time around the globe. In a lunatic way, Saint Mother Teresa, through positive works, once again showed everyone that through support; will we are closer to God. Above all “GOD IS LOVE”
THE MIRACLE AND BLESSING OF MOTHER TERESA
On September 5, 1997, Gonxhe Bojaxhiu died. After her death, the Holy See began the process of beatifying Mother Teresa. This process is the second step that leads you to Canonization. For this matter (Blessing), Kolodiejchuk was appointed – Postulator from the Calcutta Diocese. After his appointment, Kolodiejchuk said: “We don’t have to prove that she was perfect. Or he didn’t do anything wrong. He had to testify that the deeds and virtues of Mother Teresa were heroic.
Also, Kolodiejchuk prepared and submitted 76 documents, written on 35,000 pages. All these documents were based on various interviews, and there were a total of 113 witnesses. The latter were required to answer 263 different questions. The Vatican very carefully studied all the published and unpublished criticisms that were written about the life, work and miracles of Saint Teresa, Hitchen and Chatterie published a critical book about Mother Teresa, where even in court they disputed everything that had to do with these issues. However, the accusation and allegations raised were investigated by the CONGREGATION FOR THE CAUSES OF SAINTS. While the group assigned to these issues, did not find a single obstacle to the Canonization of Mother Teresa. So, this Congregation also issued its obstetrician NIHIL, on 21.04.1999.
Even some other Catholic writers strongly opposed the Canonization of Gonxhe, calling it a SIGN OF OPPOSITION. Bypassing criticism, and relying on facts and arguments, a special medical community decided to recognize all the miracles of Saint Mother Teresa. ALL HER MIRACLES ARE EVIDENCE OF DIVINE INTERVENTION – said KOLODIEJCHUK. 19.10.2003 – it was the time when ANJEZĖ GONJHE BOJAXHIU – became happy. Today the entire globe feels blessed by her DIVINE personality.
CANONIZATION
Canonization as a process in itself requires a document, a testimony of one or more miracles, resulting from the intervention of those who will become future Saints. Saint Mother Teresa was the best example of love, compassion, humility and help for all humanity. Her humane spirit, and the help she gave to people in need, reflects the role and importance of women in human societies.
Such was Mother Teresa, who, in addition to moral and spiritual support, managed to heal many such people around the globe. Many sick people were healed by her works and hand. Below, they will mention only a few of them, who sent Mother Teresa to her Canonization, Beatification and Sanctification.
Internationally known, for her works, Mother Teresa did miracles.
The first case was a woman from Bengal – India. The woman named Monica Besra was suffering from a tumor in her abdomen about 17 cm. After many medical services and other things her family had tried, nothing was working. However, Monica was dying little by little from the disease. On September 5, the first anniversary of Mother Teresa’s death, a sister received the medal of Mary.
This happened because during Mother Teresa’s funeral (he had touched her body) and placed it on Monica’s stomach and said a simple prayer: “Mother, today is your day. You loved the poor. Do something for Monica”. This whole event happened at 5 pm in the afternoon. At 1:00 AM, Monica got up to go to the bathroom. There she discovered that her stomach was flat. Regarding this miracle, a total of 11 doctors were consulted. Only one of them was Catholic. It was the year 2008, when the second miracle was known to Saint Mother Teresa. Saint Mother Teresa had healed a Brazilian who was suffering from several brain tumors.
Marcilio Haddad Andrino, had stated that the doctors had not given him a single hope for his recovery from the disease. The only hope to live was Fernanda – his wife. This he prayed over and over again. After many prayers, the woman believes that it was Mother Teresa’s intervention in her husband’s recovery, while he was in intensive care. With the many prayers that Fernanda directed for her husband and the intercession of Mother Teresa, an exact miracle is shown for our sister and daughter – who today is a Saint for all humanity.
It is worth noting that, on 17.12.2015, the Press Office of the Holy See confirmed that Pope Francis recognized the miracles of Mother Teresa 1. The Healing of the Woman from India and 2. The Healing of the Man from Brazil – both suffering from Tumors. Miracles first came to the attention of the postulation. This happened when the HOLY FATHER was in Brazil in July 2013, when WORLD YOUTH DAY was celebrated. After this event, another investigation took place in Brazil on 19-26.06.2015, which was then transferred to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, where a decree was issued. Through this decree, it was agreed and accepted that the investigations be completed.
The canonization of Saint Mother Teresa took place in a ceremony in Saint Peter’s Square in Rome on 04.09.2016. This event was witnessed by tens of thousands of people. Including here 15 government delegations, over 1500 people from Italy, and thousands of people from all over the world. This whole interesting event was also broadcast by the biggest world media.
Also, in Mother Teresa’s hometown, it was celebrated ineffectually. While in India, her canonization was celebrated in a special Mass by the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta. Below we will see some of these thoughts: President Pratibha Patil, about Mother Teresa said this: “Dressed in a white sari with a blue border, she and the sisters of the Missionaries of Charity became a symbol of hope for many people – the elderly, the poor, the unemployed, the sick, the terminally ill and those abandoned by their families!
The well-known Cardinal Pascal gave his opinion: It cannot be a small nation, until it has given a person as great as Mother Teresa. Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, became a connecting bridge between Albanians and the world.
Pope John Paul II (Karol Woytila), for St. Mother Teresa, said this: “HER GREATNESS WE SEE IN HER ABILITY TO GIVE WITHOUT TAKING ANYTHING – UNTIL PAIN” HER ENTIRE LIFE WAS THE LIVING GOSPEL
Former US President BILL CLINTON, relying on the work, desire and everything else that Mother Teresa did, expressed his desire and love for the Albanian people. In June 2002, he said this about Mother Teresa: “MOTHER TERESA, WAS THE FIRST ONE THAT MADE ME LOVE THE ALBANIAN NATION. NOW I FEEL VERY PROUD OF IT. HERE I FULFILLED A MORAL OBLIGATION TO HER AND TO THE VALUES OF FREEDOM” I FEEL VERY PROUD OF SUCH A GREAT MOTHER”
Former UN Secretary General Javier Perez de Cuellar said: Her lifelong dedication to the care of the poor, the sick and the disadvantaged was one of the highest examples of service to humanity. “It is the United Nations. She is peace in the world, me to let Him have a free hand.
Pope Benedict XVI mentioned Mother Teresa and her life 3 times in his work DEUS CARITAS EST (HIS FIRST ENCYCLICAL). In the main points of this work it is written as follows:
IN THE EXAMPLE OF BLESSED TERESA OF CALCUTTA, WE HAVE A CLEAR ILLUSTRATION OF THE FACT THAT TIME DEVOTED TO GOD IN PRAYER, NOT ONLY DOES NOT DEPRIVE HIM OF EFFECTIVE AND LOVING SERVICE TO OUR NEIGHBORS, BUT IN FACT IS AN INFINITE SOURCE OF IT THE SERVICE. Also, THE HOLY ONE writes like this: “ONLY MENTAL PRAYER AND SPIRITUAL READING CAN CULTIVATE OUR GIFT OF PRAYER”
Meanwhile, the famous American historian and professor, Douglas Brinkley, says this: FROM THE TIME OF CONSTANTINE THE GREAT TO THE PRESENT DAYS, EXCEPT MOTHER THERESA, THE BALKAN PENINSULA HAS NO PERSONALITY OF SO GREAT IMPORTANCE, AND A PERSON OF GREATER IMPORTANCE DISTINGUISHED
In addition, we also mention the interesting facts about MOTHER TERESA, which we never knew, but which help us to know more closely her humanitarian work, and the help she gave to all humanity.
Mother Teresa – missionary and humanist, during her service she was the guardian of 7500 children in 60 schools in total. Together with other missionary Sisters, they treated 960,000 sick people in 213 dispensaries. Gonxhe Bojaxhiu was the only woman who treated 47,000 victims of leprosy in 54 clinics. Also, it took care of 3,400 abandoned elderly people, who were left on the streets, making them comfortable in 20 homes for the elderly. Adopted 160,000 abandoned and illegal children.
Saint Mother Teresa was a devout Catholic missionary.
She dedicated her life to the sick and the poor. He saved thousands of people’s lives, he helped people who were suffering from hunger, but also people who were suffering from various diseases, he helped them with medicines. Also, Mother Teresa did many other miracles. Through these miracles, he managed to be sanctified on the date of September by the Holy See in the Vatican. Today, Saint Mother Teresa is considered among the most famous and powerful women in the world.
Gonxhe Bojaxhiu (Saint Mother Teresa), was born in Skopje. Although she spent most of her life in India as part of her mission to raise the issue of people in need, she never denied her Albanian origin. The interest and curiosity of many journalists about her origin, the answer was cryptic: By blood I am Albanian, by citizenship I am Indian, and by heart I belong to Christ”
The BOJAXHIU family was so patriotic that it has given many national and patriotic values to our people. The influence of this family on our society reflected the life and education of Mother Teresa. It is worth mentioning that Mother Teresa’s family lived in Tirana. The graves of Mother Drane and sister Age Bojaxhiu are located in the Shale cemetery in Tirana.
During the period of communism, Saint Mother Teresa never managed to meet her mother Dranen, who was 45 years old. Enver Hoxha, the dictator who refused her visit to Tirana when her mother was seriously ill and in deep old age. On this occasion, French President Charles De Gaulle and US First Lady Jasqueline Kennedy intervened.
However, the dictator did not accept such a thing. The witnesses of that time had written like this: We saw him crying and saying: “O God, I understood and accepted this suffering of my mother, who in her old age wants nothing more than to see me once more “- said Mother Teresa.
In her life as a Missionary of love and distinguished Humanist, Mother Teresa received a total of 9 awards. It is thought that the most important prize in her life was the Nobel Peace Prize on 17.10.1979. This price was approximately 1 million dollars. This entire amount went to the poor and the sick.
Also, Mother Teresa was awarded with the following awards: Damian Dutton, Ramon Magsasay – 1962, Templeton Award – 1973, Balzan Award – 1978, Bharat Ratna Award – 1980, Medal of Freedom Award – 1985. While in the USA, she was awarded with the title “HONORARY CITIZEN OF THE USA”. While in Kosovo, in 1996 she was declared an honorary citizen of Kosovo. The Albanian state also gives a special decoration with its name.
Charity knows no bounds or enmity. Mother Teresa’s friendships were across oceans. Her most unique friendship was with charity icon Princess Lady Diana. The chronicles of the most prestigious international stations about the relationship between the two humanists were by no means rare. The peculiarity of the “Iron Ladies” is their same year-death.
For the first time, Mother Teresa visited Albania from August 14-17, 1989. Even though the communist regime had not fallen yet, her generosity was there. Because she had forgiven everyone, for what the dictator Enver Hoxha had caused to her family and nation. Mother Teresa had even met the dictator’s widow, Nexhmije Hoxha. Together with her, she had placed flowers on her husband’s grave.
The most real, and most beautiful, assessment was that of the former president of the USA, BILL CLINTON. He had this to say about the humanist: “Mother Teresa was the first person who made me love the Albanian nation more.” With his death, the entire globe lost a giant of our era. Where at the same time it was an inspiration and a challenge for everyone.
Queens and kings, presidents, prime ministers, partisans and popes come and go. But Mother Teresa is one. He lived in our generation, in our century, where we are all grateful for it.
In 1979, when she received the Nobel Peace Prize, Mother Teresa said: The greatest destruction today is the cry of an innocent child who was never born. If a mother can kill a child inside her womb, what is left for you and me? Let’s kill each other.
In her early days as a Missionary, Mother Teresa was very troubled by the poverty and problems she saw in Calcutta. Therefore, since 1946, he decided to live there to live with them, and with the problems they had. Where she also worked as a teacher, for the educational and intellectual development of this country.
Every morning of Mother Teresa was blessed. Because every morning, he prayed and went out into the streets of Calcutta, to find the poor and feed them. Family visits, care for the sick and children affected by tuberculosis, visits to the elderly, made the nurse more humane and more humane.
In all the interviews given, Mother Teresa had never denied her Albanian origin. In addition to her native Albanian and Serbian languages, the Humanist also spoke English. Based on extensive research and research in the archives of several European countries, the day before her consecration, Mother Teresa had written a letter to the Albanians.
In this letter it was written like this: “I always have my Albanian people in my heart. He prayed a lot to God that His Peace may come in our hearts, in all our families, in the whole world. He prayed a lot for my children – and for me and my sisters. I pray for you. M. Teresa Bojaxhiu”.
This letter was written in December 1979, during Mother Teresa’s stay in Oslo. In addition, Mother Teresa also wrote letters to her sister and brother. In this letter it was said: “I am a brother and Maria loves him. I hope that you are well and that the operation is over. My sisters and I are praying for you a lot. I love you my brother, kiss you hard – Your sister Teresa”
At the age of 18, when she left her family, Mother Teresa never returned. At the age of 8, Mother Teresa lost her father (Father) Nikola (February – Kolë) Bojaxhiu. It is suspected that he was poisoned by his political opponents at the time.
Saint Mother Teresa, the humanist and saint of love and kindness, left a deep imprint on the global mind. With her works, she managed to eradicate hatred by planting love, turning poverty into salvation and despair into smiles. Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu managed to become the most loved, most adored woman and above all the “SAVIOR OF THE WORLD” for a total of 18 times. Memorie.al
