Memorie.al publishes a voluminous archival file issued by the institution of the Authority for Information of Former State Security Files, where there are hundreds of documents with the logo “Top secret” belonging to the former political prisoner, Xhavit Qesja, originally from the city of Kruja, whose family during the period of occupation of the country, 1939-1944, was closely associated with the Anti-Fascist Movement, being one of its main bases and made available all the wealth it had, as Xhavit was one of the first members of the Albanian Communist Party for the Kruja district, leading the Kruja-Ishëm partisan battalion and the 22nd Assault Brigade. Xhavit Qese’s political career after the end of the War, where he was appointed and served in senior positions in the Albanian Army, the apparatus of the Central Committee of the ALP, and several districts of the country, from where he was sent to study in the Soviet Union, where stayed until 1957, when he was announced to return to Albania urgently, after openly expressing his views in favor of the political line followed by the main Kremlin leader, Nikita Khrushchev, condemning the Stalin cult. Enver Hoxha’s conversation with Xhavit Qesen in his office in the Central Committee, where he sharply criticized him for the wrong views he had shown during his studies in Moscow, urging him to reflect and make self-criticism, but Xhavit rejected the suggestion of the first secretary of the Albanian Labor Party, which caused him to no longer be allowed to go to the Soviet Union to complete his studies, but to be sent to work as deputy chairman of the Elbasan Executive Committee, from where a year later, he was expelled from the Party and exiled to Zvërnec Island, where the communist regime kept isolated some of the former senior party and state cadres whom he had condemned for their anti-party views. Xhavit Qes’ long ordeal and persecution from 1957 to 1990, where he spent a full 32 years in prison and internment, being one of the few Burrel prison convicts to go on long hunger strikes in protest of the treatment and savage attitude of the communist regime of Enver Hoxha towards him. The complete form, investigative and judicial file in charge of Xhavit Qeses, which is published for the first time by Memorie.al, which contains the documents of the former State Security that reflect the prosecution and wiretapping against him, the reports of Security collaborators with pseudonyms their correspondence with the letters he sent to the highest party and state instances, as well as the highest leaders of the ALP, until 1991 when he was released from prison!

From 29/9/1958 until 12 / X / 1958, the following issues were discussed by the following persons:
Nuri Huta: He said that he does not agree that the most technical school for teachers has been opened in Shkodra, but you should open it in Elbasan, because in Elbasan it is the purest language.
Peço Fidhi, before being summoned to Vlora, said better in prison than on the Island, i.e., that he did not agree and did not justify the isolated internment. He talks a lot about immorality in women in the Soviet Union; he says there is a lot of immorality in the Soviet Union. Peçoja told Gjovalin Luka, when they called Pëllumb Dishnica in Vlora, that they would also call him Peço, also Peçoja told him that in Fier they arrested a person who had a library of his own, whom they took books, the name of the person arrested, Gjovalini does not know. Peçoja also told Gjovalin that since we were called by the general in Vlora, General Peço told us to tell us about Pëllumb Dishnica, after you stayed with Pëllumb and knew about him and Peço replied that he did not know anything.
When Peço Fidhi returned from Vlora, he told Gjovalin Luka that he was asked about the Tirana Conference, I told this in front of everyone, when Gjovalini asked him if minutes were kept, Peçi replied that he should not ask me about this.
Pëllumb Dishnica, from the time he was called to Vlora until the time when Peçoja came from Vlora, appears very scary, especially since when Peçoja was called, he lives in fear of being arrested. He told Rasim Tahiri why they called me and brought me back to the Island, without a job even today. The pigeon lives in fear.
Peço Fidhi said that you should have no doubt that Peço’s call to Vlora is for the Tirana Conference and everyone has answered that this is a job for Peço.
Xhavit Qesja does not speak at all, but stays and listens.
Xhafer Vokshi does not say a word, but says that I do not need politics, but I want to see the plight of the family. His wife did not say anything, but she cried because she works 18 hours a day. Said that Frano Jakova, is where he was.
Marije Luka, said: I am afraid that they will be shot, if the situation changes, in this case Rasim Tshiri, Pëllumb Dishnica, Xhafer Vokshi were present. Gjovalini told me this, but they do not know his name.
Until Raqi, Pëllumbi, Peço arrived, he was not calm at all, but when Pëllumbi came, Peço went in front of the moth and asked him, but I do not know what Pëllumbi told him, after we were away, and Pëllumbi told us , that they did not ask me at all, but I stayed in the room of the guard officer all day, from all this it was not believed that he was not asked, but the words that Pellumbi said were a lie, after he was asked but did not want to tell. When Peço Fidhi was called, Pllumbi was more afraid and he told Gjovalin, I am not very afraid, since I know Peço and he has character, that is, what Pëllumbi and Peço talked about, he does not tell Peço. This is what Gjovalini told Rasim.
Gjovalini told Rasim that Peço would have been called for the Tirana Conference and to ask him about us, until Peço arrived, these words were said, especially by Gjovalini, that they asked him about Pëllumbi for the Tirana Conference and about us, while others have said nothing.
When Peço came, he told us in front of everyone that they had asked him about the Tirana Conference and that they could call you too. Peço told Gjovalin that I did not take anyone by the neck and that in the room where Peço was staying in the Vlora Branch, there was also a table. These words, Gjovalini, after telling Peço, were told by Xhaferr Vokshi and Rasim Tahiri, to whom Gjovalini said, that someone would have taken Peço by the neck. Peço also talked to Xhafer Vokshi and told him what I wanted as a young man and to associate with Yugoslavs, who were in Fier, such as with Nikon who has been a professor at the Technical University of Fier, etc.
Xhaferi also told him that Peçi, Xhaferi, and others are not the same as those who were convicted with Koçi Xoxa and Xhaferri told me this and concluded that Peço was asked about Pëllumb Dishnica. Everyone has a suspicion that Peço has told about both the Tirana Conference and Pëllumbi.
Peço on Wednesday felt a little with Pëllumbi, also a couple of times and now they do not stay as before. But I doubt that if Peço was asked about Pëllumbi, Peço told him, because Pëllumbi is not calm at all, they stay alone and he is very upset. Rasim said to Pellumbi, why do they stay like this: Pellumbi said to him: I am sick. Ever since they called Pëllumbi and after Peço’s call, Pëllumbi has been very upset.

It is difficult to give a first opinion on the persons who are here, as they by all means avoid talking about the actions taken or do not express the views they have on a given issue when the conversation opens. Only thanks to sporadic phrases, ironies and stings can you form a cursory judgment. Therefore, it is better not to give these cases, as they have appeared:
From the first day we came to Zvërnec, Pëllumb Dishnica, Peço Fidhi and Gjovalin Luka, were locked in a room and after talking for about an hour, when they came out, Gjovalini told us: “Listen more friends, here we do not know why they brought us, to let’s not have political talks, let’s stay in our trouble, everyone. The next morning, Gjovalini said: I will sleep and live separately. That same evening, when Peço Fidhi began to tell how he had met an aviator expelled from the Party in Fier, Pellumbi, said: I do not need these conversations, while Gjovalini added: “Not to mention names “After a lot, we got over ourselves”. This slogan became a habit for a few days and here in Zvërnec, so as soon as someone started talking about political or theoretical issues, they waited for the conversation, saying: “O bobo dhëmballa”. The first two or three weeks, Peço Fidhi remained saying: “Wait when someone is taken now in Vlora”! While Rasimi said: “How do we know, how we shared the technical tests in Vlora with General Llaqi”!
Meanwhile, Pëllumb Dishnica and Gjovalin Luka walked together talking or in the room and in the other group, Rasim Tahiri, Xhaferr Vokshi. Xhavit Qesja has always stood aside.

One day, Xhaferr Vokshi, answering Peço’s question, why am I not imprisoned and where is it better, here in exile, or in prison, said: No, I do not raise the issue like that, because I have not hidden anything from him Security, so I did so, so I was interned and not imprisoned. While Rasimi said: Why does this man make me angry?! I am taking people one by one in different cases that have occurred:
Gjovalin Luka, in my opinion, today not only does not have any missing planks, but I can hardly believe that there has ever been a mental shock. One day when we were both, he asked me: Pajo Islami, was he convicted in a special trial, or did he appear in court together with Liri Gega? When I told him that: together with Liri, he seemed to be happy and said: “I knew he came out alone”! Only one day Pellumbi did not restrain himself, when he talked about the ‘Blocks’ of officials, the ‘Palace of Brigades’ and the servants of the leaders.
