Memorie.al / “My brother, Petriti, wanted the daughter of the Founder of the Party, but at a time when the Founder of the Party was no longer in good health, the current leader of the Party urged the wife of the Founder of the Party, so that this engagement does not take place was done and this told my father that; this engagement could not be done because the people will speak. He especially told me that; Goni, I’m afraid you’re in a hurry. From the injustices they did to my father, my blood rushed to my head and I wanted to take the machine gun in my trunk and not allow them to take my father, but my father told me: Not like that Agron, because I don’t put a rifle against the Founder of the Party”.
This is stated, among other things, in a highly secret State Security document dated March 3, 1987, where the entire conversation of Kadri Hazbi’s second son, Agron, with one of his workmates in Kurbnesh is revealed of the district of Mirdita, where they were both interned and all that conversation between them was then sent to Ramiz Ali.
As we will see from the document in question, which is part of a voluminous file that was extracted from the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, (now part of the Authority for the Information of Files of the former State Security), in charge of to the former Minister of the Interior, Kadri Hazbiu and his family, in addition to Agron Hazbiu’s conversations with his friend (A.M.), who has declared everything in detail to the Department of Internal Affairs of the district of Mirdita, part of the voluminous file, are also many reports and secret information with denunciations and interceptions against the Hazbiu family, which begin in October 1982, and end at the beginning of 1991.
The struggle of Enver’s closest collaborators in the high leadership of the party and the state at that time, among others, is also known from this archival document that we are publishing today in the first part of this file (which will last in ten issues ), where Agron Hazbiu, or as he is otherwise known as Agron Dautaj, (former football player of the “Dinamo” team, has confirmed to his close friends, A.M., regarding the broken engagement between his brother, Petr Hazbiu (graduated as an architect) and Enver’s daughter (also an architect), since the beginning of the 70s, which came after the intervention of Ramiz Ali and Nexhmije Hoxha.
And only 15 months later, Agron Hazbiu was found dead in the copper mine in Kurbnesh, where according to the official version, he had committed suicide by tying dynamite to his body. But was it really a suicide, or did the State Security carry out Ramiz Ali’s order (written in his own hand: “…To act”), being afraid of the son of Kadri Hazbiu, who except once in 1982, he wanted to grab the machine gun, in defense of his father, but even in exile, in a moment of anger, he even expressed himself about throwing dynamite at someone…!
Regarding this and others, we will be familiar with a number of archival documents extracted from the voluminous file in charge of former Interior Minister Kadri Hazbiu and his family, which will be published by Memorie.al.

Operational Note
On 2.2.1983, together with the Operative Worker, Hektor Çiraku, I met with the collaborator “Plazhi” who, among other things, regarding Agron Daut (son of the enemy Kadri Hazbiu), told us the following things: “On the arrest of the enemy Feçor Shehu, Agroni, in the presence of two or three other sportsmen of the “Dinamo” Club, said: “Whoever tricks this Party, that’s how he suffers.”
There from the beginning of October 1982, Agron Dauti, who was hospitalized in the Military Hospital and I remember it well, it was a Friday, (the exact day when the enemy Kadri Hazbiu was dismissed from the post of Minister of Defense) me together with Vasillaq The voice, we went to see Agron in the hospital, not knowing anything about his father.
As soon as we entered the room, Agron asked us if we knew anything. We told him that we didn’t know anything and at this time Agron informed us that his father had been dismissed from his position as minister and was at home.
Agroni continued, we are educated with the teachings of the Party and despite the mistakes of the father, nothing separates us from it, let the father answer for what he has done. We were puzzled by this and after sitting a little longer, we left him.
I know that Agroni wanted to enter into a love relationship with T.S., and he wanted to arrange this with the help of a mediator. Later I taught that K.D.’s daughter (anti-party element, our note. Y.B.) Stepped in as an intermediary between him and T.S.
Agron Dautaj was friends with me (B.p. “Plazhi”), Halit Gegë, Vasillaq Zëri, Albert Musa, Ilir Luaras, Ilir Pernaskë, Arben Vilë and some others, which I don’t remember now.
I also know that when the “Dinamo” team went to Scotland on September 30, 1982, Agroni slept in a room together with me and Vasillaq Zëri, while in Scotland and in Hungary, he slept in a room with Halit Gega.
During the time we stayed in Austria, Agroni, together with me and Vasillaq Zëri, went to our embassy in Vienna, where Agroni left a letter sealed in an envelope, but I don’t know from whom and to whom he left this letter .
That same day, at dinner, the three of us went to the embassy for dinner with a man named Dëfrim (he was a radio operator near the enemy Kadri Hazbiu, before he went to work at the embassy in Vienna, my note Y.B.).
I also know that on the second night, Agroni, together with Aleko Bregu, had dinner at our embassy in Vienna, at a person named Kujtim Brati.
Agron Dauti had a lot of company with Shkëlqim Skifteri, through whom I also got to know him. I learned that Shkëlqim’s father was a hunter and a friend of the enemy Kadri Hazbiu.
When Agroni got engaged in 1982, he hired the whole team with hot dogs, while he invited me, Ilir Përnaska, Vasillaq Zëri, Shyqëri Ballgjini and Halit Gega for lunch at his house, where we stayed for an hour and a half. His sister was also present.
When, during the month of January 1982, there were rumors about the enemy Mihallaq Ziçishti, I asked Agron if the words we were hearing were true, and Agron said: “They are slogans spread by the enemy element, on purpose.”
“I, continued B.p. “The beach”, I may have other things, but I don’t remember them or I don’t appreciate them, so if you also know something, do well to remind me and I will explain it to you. I only met Agron in the hospital and on no other occasion later. I learned that it is in Kurbnesh.
Based on this fact, from our side he was told to think again carefully, looking at things with today’s eyes, and he made an appointment with you on Monday, February 7, 1983, around 9 o’clock in the morning.
At the same time, B.p. “The beach”, he also asked about the attitude he should take, in case someone sends him greetings from Agroni, which was clarified by us. This fact drew our attention, starting from the data of the Internal Affairs Branch, Rrëshen, dated 10.1.1983, which refers to the name Robert Pandeli Mella, whom Agroni has sent to B.p. “Plazhi” and to Halit Gega, so that the latter give him a pair of “tweezers and a beak, as well as the lek, which B.p. “The beach” owed him money.
Clarification:
- Ilir Përnaska, former football player of “Dinamo” and currently living and working in Tirana. He is known as a promiscuous man and Agroni was a personal fan of Iliri, before he played football himself.
- Shyqëri Ballgjini, former football player of “Dinamo”, currently plays with the team “Lokomotiva” of Durrës.
- Halit Gega, is a football player of “Dinamo”, he is originally from Tropoja, a former student at the Sigurimi School and was expelled from it.
- Football player of “Dinamo”, lives in Tirana and is known as a serious person.
- Arben Vila, already known as Agron Dautajn, due to the fact that his father, Bet Vila, was the vice-director of the “Dinamo” Club.
- Shkëlqim Skifteri, is a shoemaker of the “Dinamo” Club.
I am of the opinion that Vasillaq Zëri and the daughter of the anti-party element, K.D., should be asked what they know about the son of the enemy Kadri Hazbiu, Agroni, and depending on the data that will come out, we will approve, for further tasks and pursuits.

PLAN – TASK
FOR KEEPING UNDER CONTROL THE OBJECT IN PRELIMINARY PROCESSING, AGRON HAZBIU, WHICH WILL COME TO THE CITY OF RŠRENI
Agron Hazbiu is a family relation (son) of the enemy Kadri Hazbiu, who is in preliminary processing for agitation and propaganda against the Party and the People’s Power.
Agron Hazbiu, has requested permission to come from the city of Kurbnesh to that of Rreshen, for justified family needs, as he will collect some medicine for his mother, Hedija, who is ill, and from our side, will be granted permission on 20.4.1983 to return to the city of Kurbnesh within the day.
- With the aim, that on our part, we will fix his contacts on the way from the city of Kurbnesh to the city of Rrëshen and vice versa, if he will get in touch with his connections in Rrëshen, such as with his sister’s husband, Medi Çollak, who lives in this city, these agency-operative measures will be taken.
Based on the code set for the movements of the family ties of the enemy Kadri Hazbiu, the Kurbnesh Police officer, Preng Tuci, will be told to notify us of the time of his departure, in order to know approximately his arrival in the city of Rrëshen, and if he does not come, immediate verification measures should be taken as to where he stayed.

The source announces that, on 18.4.1983, he was on the first shift and around 3:20 p.m., he was on the horizon of level – 200 and saw Agron Hazbi entering the gallery, and in this place, Agron met Luigj Gjini, and then with Martin Mardhoçin, where these two were the first shift, and Agron was the second shift.
