Memorie.al publishes an archival document issued by the institution of the Authority for the Information of the Files of the former State Security, which belongs to the month of May 1988 and is part of a file entrusted to the Albanian Radio-Television (of the period 1966- 1991), where it is about the well-known journalist of Radio-Television, Timo Luto, who at that time was dismissed from his job as a journalist and editor at Radio-Tirana, sending him to the village of Baldushk in Tirana, as a teacher.
As we will see from the document in question, which bears the signature of the Director of the Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tirana, Zef Loka, addressed to the relevant sector in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the PPSh, that directorate, in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs Inside the district of Tepelena, they organized a work plan, with a combination, instructing in advance the collaborator of the State Security with the nickname “Vetëtima’ (from Tepelena), who, after equipping him with an operational technique (eavesdropping), sent him in the village of Baldushk, to meet and talk with his friend Timo Luto.
Their conversation was later disclosed by the State Security and a summary of it, where they talk about Enver Hoxha and Mehmet Shehu, was sent to Pëllumb Kapo, in the Central Committee of the PPSh, the man who covered the organs of the ‘Dictatorship of Proletariat’ (Ministry of the Interior, State Security, Investigation, Courts, Prosecutor’s Office, etc.), who, after seeing it, returned it to the Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tirana. According to the document in question, the journalist Timo Luto was followed and monitored by the State Security, “for agitation and propaganda”, after he had expressed his sympathy for the former prime minister Mehmet Shehu, while the main leader, Enver Hoxha, had been described as “very dogmatic”.
This was the main reason why Timo Luton was dismissed from his job as a journalist and editor at the Albanian Radio-Television, sending him as a teacher to the village of Baldushk in Tirana, where he worked as a teacher until the end of 1990, at which time he returned to Albanian Radio-Television. The well-known Albanian Radio-Television journalist, Timo Luto, is not the only one who has been followed and monitored by the State Security in that institution, one of the most important propaganda institutions of the communist regime of Enver Hoxha and his successor Ramiz Alia, since 1966 and until 1991, it turns out that; a large number of journalists and other RTSH employees, well-known names before and after the 90s, were followed, intercepted and monitored

COMBINATION DEVELOPED BETWEEN TIMO LUTOS AND CO-WORKER “VEVETIMA”, KEPT IN CONNECTION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS TEPELENA
According to the order given, in coordination with the Department of Internal Affairs in Tepelena, on 23.4.1988, the meeting of the associate “Vetëtima” with Timo Luton, who is being actively processed for agitation and hostile propaganda, was organized by combination. the last one left Radio-Television and was sent to teach in Baldushk, Tirana district. The purpose of the combination was to verify the hostile conversations that Timo has had with his collaborators, against the leadership of the Party and in defense of the enemy Mehmet Shehu.
After the collaborator was equipped with the tools of the operative technique and the line of conduct, for the conversations he had to have with Timo, he was sent to the house of the object.
The co-worker’s position in the conversation was determined in such a way that, without allowing any provocation, the main moments of the hostile conversations that Timo had with him were discussed naturally, even, with which a measure was actually taken against the co-worker, making him led 4 months directly to production, the line of behavior consisted of the co-worker initially showing his suspicion that this had come from Timo, about the conversations held, alluding that the latter had held them with persons of others.
The combination was carried out normally, without creating any doubt.
From this action, it appears that the hostile conversations reported by the associate “Vetëtima” are true and the associate is in the right position.

Object: Yes, we did them with each other.
Colleague: Yes, he and I have done it now… and if you had some respect for Mehmet Shehu, and the conversations we had, why did you tell me about Enver Hoxha, dogmatic, and these things, you told me these things. Can you hurt me?
Object: No way.
Colleague: Even when Sinan told me like that, I excluded him, even, I said to myself, I don’t know where we were, in Tepelë, or elsewhere, when you spoke to me exactly like a friend, about those conversations…!
Object: I believed you.
Colleague: You believed me and I said, Timo, you surprise me, because I listen to you differently on the radio and differently here. The, I have my own nature.
Object: I was sorry about that. I said maybe I’m to blame, I said and I was convinced that I was the one to blame and no one should enter into this conversation, I said, and I added to his head.
Co-worker: By talking to you a lot and so on.
Object: I could have done it in another place too…! I was a bit of a rebel, I couldn’t stand some things.
Co-worker: I agree with this that you are a rebellious type. I remember when you told me that: in this situation, now we need someone strong, like the work of Mehmet Shehu, although I could make a small remark, that’s fine with me, don’t talk too much! What was your first thought?
Object: I thought this first, I said it is from me. Yes, I could have told the man I talked to in Tepelena, with so-and-so, in no way.
Co-worker: I thought, this person spoke to me, he had consideration for Mehmet Shehu, he told me that in this situation, a man like Mehmet Shehu is needed, he told me that Enver Hoxha is dogmatic, this is how he is and now he should do this to me me? It’s impossible!
Object: No, no way. What about someone else, didn’t he call you? Did they call you to the Party Committee or the Department of Internal Affairs?
Associate: Absolutely not, no.
Object: Just a minute what I’m going to tell you. Now don’t stay with me…! I don’t have this for you, it’s for myself…! I have it simply for insurance issues. I don’t even meet my friends; do you believe me? Only when I meet the bazaar, just as I used to hang out with you, I don’t hang out. I say that among them, there is no one with whom I should not hang out, I don’t hang out with them at all, and I am careful not to create problems for them…! I’m like that sick person who even has a cold, I don’t know how to protect myself, do you understand? I don’t protect myself from you, but I protect myself from others, so that they don’t judge me like that?
