Memorie.al/ publishes for the first time five photos with rare images of the New Year celebration ceremony, organized by the communist government, in the years 1947-’48. In these photos, you can see moments from the New Year’s party with fortune tellers and distinguished pioneers, ceremonies which, starting from 1945, were organized in the premises of the “Palace of Brigades”. In this festive ceremony, as can be seen in these photos, Enver Hoxha participated, together with other members of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party such as Mehmet Shehu and Tuk Jakova, at that time two of Enver Hoxha’s closest collaborators who, are seen celebrating with the fates and distinguished pioneers of the capital.
