Memorie.al publishes some unknown documents extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana (the fund of the former Central Committee of the ALP, and the personal fund, Enver Hoxha), where is the political diary of the former main leader of communist Albania, Enver Hoxha, which belongs to a period of four years (December 1979 – December 1983), where he kept notes and analyzed the main events that took place in Afghanistan, since December 27, 1979, when he was invaded militarily by the Soviet Union, which landed about 50,000 troops there after a previous coup against Prime Minister Hafizullah Amin, known as pro-Soviet. The complete diary of the former communist dictator of Albania with notes, comments and analysis about the invasion of Afghanistan and the events that took place in Iran, where the first reaction in the international arena came from the Americans, after President Carter, as a sign of pressure on that aggression military, canceled the contract of 17 million tons of grain that would be sold to the US to the Soviet Union. How Enver Hoxha described the Afghan guerrilla war in his diary, where he wrote, among other things: of the invading Soviet army, jumping from rock to rock, amidst snow and ice, rain and hardship, countless others, and only armed with rifles, my mind returns to our glory The National Liberation War, to the heroism and sacrifices of our brave people, patriot, and revolutionary”.

Notes on Afghanistan and Iran
Last night the US State Department and foreign news agencies reported that the Soviets had landed about 50,000 troops as well as a number of tanks in Afghanistan and carried out a coup against Prime Minister Hafizullah Amin, who was ousted as a pro-Soviet and came to power yes with the coup, after he overthrew and killed Tarakin, who was also pro-Soviet. Apparently a double toy is being played here, by both the Soviets and the Americans.
MONDAY 31 DECEMBER 1979
The year 1979 in the international arena is closing with revolutionary situations, which are the result of popular uprisings against the yoke of imperialism and world capitalism. Especially last week a significant event took place in an Asian country, Afghanistan, where a coup took place that overthrew the pro-Soviet regime of Amin, which had replaced by coup the former pro-Soviet regime of Nur Taraki.
Now the pro-Soviet Amin was replaced by the pro-Soviet Carmel. All three governments have been and are Soviet agencies and at the same time American secret agencies. The fact is that the Soviets, intervening militarily, killed the first, killed the second and brought the second, the third, from Czechoslovakia, where he was ambassador, putting him in power.
It is said that two or three Soviet divisions, with tanks and planes, intervened in Afghanistan as they did in Czechoslovakia in 1968. Now they are making the law in this country under the pretext that Amin was a traitor and an agent of American imperialism, which he could have been so, they also say they have intervened under the co-operation and friendship treaty they have signed with Afghanistan.
As is well known, there are numerous insurgent movements in Afghanistan, led by patriots who want neither the Soviet yoke nor the yoke of its agents, but they are branded as Muslims and their patriotic anti-imperialist movement is branded as an Islamic movement. This is a common slogan used by world capitalism to revive grievances and religious warfare, to give liberation movements the medieval meaning of such wars. There is no doubt that the Afghan liberation fighters, raised against the yoke of imperialism, social imperialism and the monarchy, are believing elements.
Afghanistan is one of those countries where religion is still alive and well. But it is not only religion that makes these peoples rise up with weapons in hand against the invaders of their homeland. Of course, they are not Marxists, but they are patriots who want the liberation of their homeland, they are representatives of the democratic bourgeoisie. They do not want to live under the yoke of foreigners, despite the fact that their views are still far from those revolutionary democratic-bourgeois views that are expressed in deep reforms in the interest of their peoples.
But the war they are waging is of great importance not only to Afghanistan but also to other peoples. It is clear that the Soviet Union, with its intervention in Afghanistan, implements strategic imperialist plans to have key combat positions in these countries, especially to expand its imperialist rule in the heart of Asia and the Middle East. It is known that Afghanistan is a border country with China and Pakistan, so the Soviet Union wants to strengthen its military-strategic positions in the face of pro-American or pro-British China and Pakistan.
On the other hand, it is known that Afghanistan is on the border with Iran, even the Afghan insurgents are removed as friends, benefactors and comrades of Khomeini. So it is favorable for Khomeini, in case the Afghan insurgents win over the Soviets and their tools. This, of course, is not an easy job, nor a job that can be done today, tomorrow, but nevertheless the people of Afghanistan, who are religious brothers with the Iranian Shiites, bring headaches to the imperialists and social imperialists.
The Soviets, with their military intervention in Afghanistan, are besieging Iran from the south and north, and if the United States intervenes with armed forces in Iran, then the Soviet Union will begin its actions in this regard, of course to capture a part of Iran, but not yet, I think, to face in an armed war with American imperialism.
The Soviets, therefore, are preparing for an eventual war that could take place in the vast oil basin in the Middle East. Syria, where Soviet influence is most evident, has not yet condemned Soviet intervention in Afghanistan, but other Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and Egypt, have condemned the aggression. So all these countries spoke out against the Soviets for their barbaric actions and ruling intentions over Afghanistan.
Therefore in these situations the Arab countries have no way of accepting an intervention of the United States of America with armed forces in Iran. Thus, the whole world opinion has risen against the Soviet actions and, as foreign news agencies report, Moscow has been forced to declare that it will withdraw its troops from Afghanistan immediately, after the situation stabilizes. This is a well-known avaz that is constantly used by the imperialists, as they intervene militarily, invading countries and peoples.
But the reaction of the world opinion against the Soviet intervention makes the American intervention in Iran more impossible or more difficult. In other words, the world is seeing that imperialists and social imperialists are aggressors, oppressors of peoples and exploiters of their wealth.
Of course, for the division of zones of influence between them, the two superpowers make secret agreements, but this division of zones also creates great opposition, a fierce military and revolutionary reaction on the part of the masses of the peoples, on whose backs the consequences fall. of these agreements; this situation urges other peoples to rise up against the external and internal oppression of domestic and world capitalism.

SUPPORT THE WAR OF THE PEOPLE OF AFGHANISTAN AGAINST SOVIET OCCUPIERS
Condemn and unmask the military aggression of the Soviet Union against the people of Afghanistan. For this we must publish an article, where we emphasize that the Soviet social-imperialists and their agency in Afghanistan, used the overthrow, at first, of King Muhammad Zaher Shah, the overthrow of Prince Daud, and the desire for the liberation of the Afghan people, who felt the oppression of the absolute monarchy and its foreign friends, first and foremost the Soviets who financed it and kept it in power.
In this article let us speak well and positively assess the resistance movement that is spreading in Afghanistan against the Soviet invaders. The struggle of the Afghan people in this regard is just and it cannot be suppressed. The people of this country have ancient traditions in the fight against foreign invaders. He once gave a lesson, to be well remembered, even to the armies of the English imperialist invaders.
On this occasion, let us also express the solidarity of our people with the Afghan people who are fighting in the mountains and in the cities against the revisionist invaders, the Soviet social-imperialists and their tools. Our article will help to clarify the peoples, to make them aware of the military aggression of the Soviet revisionist Union against Afghanistan, the goals of the Soviet social imperialists in this region of the world, as well as the just struggle of the Afghan people against foreign invaders.

AGGRESSORS OUT OF AFGHANISTAN!
After the meeting with the fellow secretaries of the Central Committee, which I had this morning, I gave the final touch to the article “Out of the aggressors from Afghanistan”! I supplemented the article with some other political considerations. I have discussed the extended theses of this article with Comrade Ramiz before. Our attitudes about world events are closely followed outside. Various news agencies talk about them and foreign newspapers write about them.

SOVIET MILITARY AGGRESSION IN AFGHANISTAN AND AMERICAN IMPERIALISM
In today’s meeting with the fellow secretaries of the Central Committee, I analyzed the situation in Afghanistan, Iran and several other countries of the world. Today, US President Carter announced that: as a sign of disapproval of the military occupation of Afghanistan, the United States will not fulfill the contract for the sale of 17 million tons of grain to the Soviet Union, so he announced that he is suspending this contract.
Carter also announced that he was postponing the approval of the ‘SALT-2’ agreement by the senate and that he would supply weapons to Pakistan, etc. With these actions the United States of America tries to raise the morale of itself and that of its allies. We will see what countermeasures the Soviet Union will take, but it has certainly done the calculations. Wheat is also supplied to the Soviets by Canada and Australia.

EVENTS DEVELOPING IN MUSLIM COUNTRIES SHOULD BE SEEN IN THE LIGHT OF DIALECTIC AND HISTORICAL MATERIALISM
Currently the international situation is quite honorable. In many regions of the world, especially in the vast basin of oil countries, especially Asia, the war between the two imperialist superpowers, the United States of America and the Soviet Union, without excluding imperialist China and other capitalist powers, for partition and redistribution of markets and areas of influence, to push each other’s elbows, as has long been rightly foreseen by our Party, has reached new and great proportions.
Their pressures and conspiracies are accompanied by efforts and diplomatic and propaganda noise for the “compromise agreement” ostensibly to maintain peace and balance of forces. In fact, as recent events are showing, despite the great aggravation of rivalry, we see that bargaining and compromise are still the basic principle of their policy towards each other. But one day the rivalry between them may reach a point, which they will not be able to resolve and overcome, except through military confrontation.
The consequences of such a confrontation, as has happened in previous imperialist wars, will fall on the peoples. The most recent result of this rivalry is the military aggression of the Soviet Social-Imperialists against Afghanistan, is the occupation by force of arms of this country by one of the imperialist superpowers. It is a fact that what has now been done openly and forcefully by the Soviets against the sovereignty of the Afghan people has long been cooked up by the Soviet social imperialist chauvinist politicians and military and their Afghan agents.
Both the former and the latter, to get to where they are today, used the overthrow, at the beginning of King Muhammad Zaher Shah in 1973 and, later, in 1978, the overthrow of Prince Daud. For their own evil purposes, they also exploited the desire for social liberation of the Afghan people, who felt the oppression of the absolute monarchy and its foreign friends, primarily the Soviets, who financed and kept it in power. .
So the Soviet social-imperialists, with all the “alliance” they had with the king of Afghanistan, worked and acted to overthrow him. To disguise their imperialist intentions, they initially brought to power people ostensibly with more progressive sentiments. Then they also exchanged them one after the other with bloody actions, with coups and tanks, they were taken to satar, as happened with Nur Muhammad Taraki and Hafizullah Amin.
But no foreign invader, no matter how powerful and armed, can forever defeat the people against whom he has aggressed. Foreign invaders, in addition to agency, anti-national and anti-popular cliques, wherever they have entered, have been greeted and greeted by peoples with hatred and resistance at first sporadically, then with more organized revolts that slowly turn into popular uprisings, liberation wars.
We are seeing this prove in Afghanistan as well, whose people have risen to their feet and are fighting fiercely in cities, villages and mountains against the invading Soviet armies. This war of the Afghan people enjoys the support and sympathy of the freedom-loving peoples and revolutionary forces around the world. Our people also support him with all their might. The war of the Afghan people against the Soviet social-imperialists is a just war, so it will triumph. /Memorie.al
