Memorie.al publishes some of the unknown stories and events of Ramiz Alia during the period of occupation of the country when he was in the ranks of partisan forces, which later in the late 80s, he published in the book “Our Enver”, distorted, manipulated and falsified most of them. The testimony of Myftar Tara, former colonel and Deputy Minister of Interior at the time of Koci Xoxes, who among other things states that: “Ramiz Alia lies in his memoirs written in the book” Our Enver “, distorting the historical truth about those events, as Ramiz at that time was a completely unknown partisan. He only had one gymnasium class, as he left the second one halfway through as soon as he started and Enver could never write letters to him… ?!
Dozens of articles have been published on the pages of Memorie.al for a long time, dealing with the stories and events related to the life of the former communist leader, Enver Hoxha, who for almost half a century was in charge of the Albanian state ruling it. him with an iron fist and also of his successor, Ramiz Alia, the man who replaced him after his death, remaining at the head of the Albanian state for almost seven years. In these writings, historians, journalists, publicists, writers, etc., as well as former senior officials and close associates of Enver Hoxha, as members of the Politburo, ministers, MPs, military, etc., have given various testimonies, in which they have treated according to their point of view, historical events and facts, where they have had the opportunity to be their own witnesses or actors. Through these testimonies, based on various archival facts and documents, as well as their memoirs, they have attempted and shed light on some of the historical truth, exposing the falsification and manipulation of the history of the Communist Party. of Albania (later the ALP), as well as various events, which have had to do mainly with the life and activity of Enver Hoxha, starting from the official history of the communist state, as well as those that Enver wrote himself in the series of his works and various memoirs published occasionally in separate books. In addition to these articles, Memorie.al has published a number of photos from the personal archive of Enver Hoxha, where most of his close associates have been removed and retouched, from the time of the War until the last years of his life. who were convicted of being declared “enemies of the people” or being part of “hostile groups”. But, the story of various forgeries and manipulations that were done to him at that time in the history of the Communist Party of Albania (later the ALP) and in general throughout history, did not end with Enver Hoxha, because the same method he used during throughout his reign, he continued with the same practice, including the retouching of various photos and images, and his successor Ramiz Alia. Ramiz started this from his first book that he wrote a few years after Enver’s death, which he titled “Our Enver”. The numerous distortions and falsifications that have been made in the history of the Albanian Communist Party, both by Enver Hoxha and Ramiz Alia, among others, have aimed at justifying the country they held at the head of the communist party and state, by wanting to show both their contemporaries and future generations their “genius” in warfare and at work with the “enemies and traitors” who surrounded them until the end of their leadership. But what is the falsification and manipulation that Ramiz Alia has done to his history, which is related to the period of the War years? In this regard, Memorie.al has provided the testimony of Mr. Myftar Tare, former partisan and head of the political section of the Korça Region during the years 1943-‘44 and after the War, Deputy Minister of Interior (of Koci Xoxes) with the rank of colonel, covering the Directorate of Foreign Intelligence. Among other things, One of the events for which Myftar Tare testifies and sheds light by illuminating the truth about the distortions and manipulations that Ramiz Alia has done in his book “Our Enver”, is that which has to do with the “Party School” held at the Korça Fair, where he denied many of the participants who were there (whom he removed and retouched from the photo published in that book) to raise the figure of Enver and himself.
Party School in Panarit
In his memoirs regarding the Panarit School, Ramiz Alia in the book “Our Enver”, among other things, wrote: “Immediately after the enemy Winter Operation, I met personally and talked for the first time with Comrade Enver. This happened in the village of Panarit in Korça, in March 1943, during the development of the first theoretical school of party cadres. This time I met him closely, shook his hand, saw him as a partisan leader and commander, but I also knew and heard him as a teacher. And as such, the most loving and knowledgeable teacher remained for me to the end. Before coming to Panarit, I was in Skrapar. At that time I was the secretary of the Communist Youth of the Berat region. The Panarit school opened on March 4 and closed on March 20. There were a total of 35 of us, mainly from friends from the regions of Gjirokastra, Vlora, Berat and Korça. There I met for the first time and closely, friends: Adil Çarçani, Manush Myftiu, Haki Toska, Josif Pashko, Bilbil Klosi, Sadik Bocaj, Zihni Sako etc. For all of us, school participants, the topics that were developed were of great interest. But both for the importance of the content and for the beauty of the expression, the lecture given by Comrade Enver on the last day of the school stood out above the others. It was this paper a program that showed the way we were going to follow. He opened before us new perspectives, very clear, on winning the war and taking power. Comrade Enver’s report clarified our vision for the future, showed us what the new Albania would be like. In that lecture, which was published in the second volume of Enver’s Works according to the notes I kept in Panarit, all the lessons we had learned in the school on revolutionary strategy and tactics, on the dictatorship of the proletariat, on the class struggle, on The party, on the peasant issue, etc. Many ideas which during the time we were studying seemed to us as very theoretical and elusive, when we heard Shiok Enver tell us the path we would follow and the tasks that awaited us, took the appropriate form for the Albanian land, for our war. Enver’s report gave us new strength for our struggle and filled us with optimism for the future. During the presentation of the lecture, which he had not written, he spoke slowly, but in a confident tone “, Ramiz Alia remembers, among other things, regarding the lecture that Enver Hoxha gave in that school.
Tare: Here is how Ramizi lies
But what is the truth about the Panarit School? Regarding this, Myftar Tare said: “Ramiz Alia lies and has distorted the historical truth in almost all his memoirs written in the book” Our Enver “, but I will only dwell on the event of the Panarit School, where I was participant himself. It is true that there were 35 of us in that school, but in addition to those names mentioned by Ramiz, such as Adil Çarçani, Manysh Myftiu, Bilbil Klosi, Haki Toska, Josif Pashko, Sadik Bocaj and Zihni Sako, there were others who were best known for the functions they held and the popularity they enjoyed among partisans and the common people. Ramiz, of school, knew well those people, who, although later condemned by Enver as “enemies”, he should mention them without denying them, such as. Koci Xoxen, Nesti Kerenxhin, Peço Kagjinin, Iljaz Ahmetin, Fiqrete Shehun etc. During that school the people who gave lectures were: Nesti Kerenxhi who was also the person in charge of the school, Koci Xoxe, Ramadan Çitaku and Bedri Spahiu. Although Enver was there in Panarit, he stayed all day at Zenel Panarit’s house and did not show up for a single day in the school lectures, which Dushan Mugosha attended regularly. Enver came only on the closing day and he did not give a speech, but only a closing word (he had it prepared in pieces of paper) that lasted about an hour and a half, where he focused more on general things, such as: Winter Operation, Ballin Kombëtar and mainly with his last meeting with Abaz Kupi in Shëngjergj, Tirana, with whom he was finally separated and not for what Ramizi says. Ramiz Alia there in that school, no one knew at all and during the lectures, he never got up to discuss, as everyone else did. The most theoretically prepared there were Nesti Kerenxhi and Behar Shtylla. Also in the memoirs on that event, he does not mention at all the colonel of fascism, Kasëm Radovicka, who after taking part in the crackdown on the partisan forces of Skrapar, he crossed with our forces and came to Panarit, where he made a public statement by said that he knew our war, which was read in the presence of all trainees “, recalled Myftar Tare, regarding the events of Panarit which were distorted by Ramiz Alia.
Enver did not write to Ramiz
Among other things, in the book “Our Enver”, Ramiz Alia writes that he informed Enver Hoxha about the decision of the commander of the Seventh Brigade, Gjin Markun, who had ordered that the houses of the partisans who had deserted from the combat formations be burned down. and according to Ramiz, Enver returned this answer, telling him that it was a wrong action and should never have been implemented. Regarding this, Tare said: “I am not aware of this order of Gjin Markut, although Gjin did not ask about the Communist Party at all and did not come to the Central Committee meetings at all. Nor can I say whether or not Ramiz wrote to Enver about it. But I know to say that: at that time in relation to these problems, there was a strict discipline with clear rules, with which you could not easily play. Enver Hoxha could not have written to Ramiz Alia about Gjin Marku’s actions, because there were other people with whom he kept correspondence on the affairs of the War. To write to Enver Ramiz meant that he would break all the rules of the War hierarchy, which he never did, nor can it be assumed he did. Moreover Ramiz Alia at the time he was in the Seventh Brigade, although he was appointed in charge of the Youth and Pioneer organization, he was so unknown and without any kind of weight that he had no rifle at all. There were other people with whom Enver kept in touch through letters and not Ramiz, who at that time was uneducated. Although Ramizi in that book says that he finished high school in Tirana, that is not true, because he left it halfway just started the second year, and in 1946, with some others they did only two months of course and he I know high school “, concludes his testimony retired colonel and former Deputy Minister of Interior Myftar Tare, regarding the distortions made by Ramiz Alia in his book” Our Enver “where continuing the path and practices of Enver, he does not not only does he not mention the main leaders of the Albanian Communist Party who led and led the Anti-Fascist War, but he has removed and retouched them from the photos he has published in his books, where he raises the figure of Enver Hoxha./Memorie.al
