At the time of his arrest, on June 21, 1973, by the State Security bodies, of the Internal Affairs Branch of the Saranda district, some “compromising materials”, such as poems and tracts, were found in his house , where he called “for the overthrow of popular power”, etc. The file in charge of the citizen Kaso Hoxha, (now de-classified) begins with the processing, where the State Security bodies and the Department of Internal Affairs of the district of Saranda make every effort to find the author of the letter. with deep hostile content”, which was thrown in the center of Markat village (with residents of the Cham community), where after a long time, with the help of the Central Criminal Laboratory, near the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tirana, it became possible, in order to clarify and identify that the writing on that letter was Kaso Hoxha’s, this also led to his arrest. The file in question continues with the investigative and judicial process against him, where he, after suffering ten years in Spaçi prison, in November 1982 returns to his native village, Markat, where from the first days, he was followed and monitored. by the bodies of the State Security, who had engaged not only some associates of the Security, but also his close family members, this forced Kaso, to escape arrest, to escape from Albania, crossing the state border, to the state neighbors, Greece. After some time staying in the Llavros Camp, he gained the status of a political asylum seeker, to go to the United States of America, where even there, he continued to be followed and monitored by the State Security bodies (Albanian Political Intelligence, which was camouflaged with his residency, near the Diplomatic Mission in the United Nations Organization) and some of its secret agents, until 1991, when the communist regime in Albania collapsed. The story of Kaso Hoxha, became known after the publication of his book “Beautiful land, ugly people”, which he entrusted to Memorie.al in manuscript, now comes through the documents of the State Security, (where they are, reports of collaborators of the State Security, with their pseudonyms, letters, notes, information, relations, report-information, interceptions with operational techniques, etc., of the officers of the State Security, investigators, holders of the Department of Internal Affairs, of the district of Saranda, etc., to the residency of Political Intelligence in the USA, and its agents there), which begin in 1973 and end in 1991, when his file was archived once and for all.

On the 23/X/1971, a meeting was organized where the aforementioned were taken out before the measure and in the end it was decided to arrest Agim Baxhua, while Kasem Hoxha and Thoma Miçoni were warned that they too were going to prison, but considering that they reacted to the guilt, they were released.
We think that Kasem Hoxha and Thoma Miçoni should be kept as a contingent thief, since they were typical in the army.
At the same time Kasem Hoxha in conversation with B.p. “Flutura” told him that he has a fugitive first cousin, Selfo Hoxha, and that he corresponded with his brother, who is in exile.
From the correspondence, we have not discovered anything suspicious.

On an anonymous letter with hostile content
On May 20, 1972, around 0.5.30, an anonymous letter with hostile content was found in the center of Markat town, by a citizen of Haki Fuat Myrto.
The letter in question is a small notepad and written on both sides, on one side, as you will see, it is written: “New year’s, but the days are black; with these few words dear Albanians I want to write your countless sufferings.
You could write a whole novel with this title. This is not tolerated brothers that are why we all have to stand up to win our rights. I believe you understand me.
Down with the Party with Enver Hoxha at the head, guard the working class like mountains”, while on the other side of the letter it is written: “Glory to our heroic group led by comrades T. Sejko and T. Demi”.
Immediately after receiving the above notices, the operative group was sent to the place and from the preliminary investigations it appears that:
Citizen Haki Fuat Myrto from Markat village, that morning he left his house around 0.50.15, from where he went to inform a friend of his, with whom he was going to work.
Coming from Ilmi Hoxha’s house to the village club, under the sector offices and parallel to the 8 year old school, he finds this letter thrown on the ground.
According to him, there were several other pieces of paper in this place, but this one caught his attention because it had some crown-shaped pencil decorations.
As soon as he received the letter and read it, he informed his father Fuat Myrton, who at that time was near the village club waiting for his friends to go to work, his father advises Haki to submit this letter to the authorities competent, but in the meantime they saw that the responsibility of the A.P. sector was coming. Rexhep Rexho, who is also Baxanak with Haki, and in this way, I decided to give it to Rexhep.
Analyzing the content of this letter and the general situation in Markat village, we came to the conclusion that:
- The letter in question must have been written by residents of Markat village, where we have a relatively large number of different enemy contingents, either as connections, of former members of Teme Sejko’s group, of saboteurs who have acted in the direction of our district, etc. .
We say this because of the fact that in Markat village, there has been constant hostile activity, escape to Greece, lack of unity among the people, quarrels, disagreements and mischief among the inhabitants of the village, so all this, it is possible to be as a result of an organized hostile work, on the part of the Greek Discovery and through this tract, to create the opinion among the masses about the existence of threads of the conspiracy of Teme Sejko.
Regarding the above, we came to this conclusion also because, on May 9, 1972, on a pedestrian road that leads from the village of Markat to the field, they found writings with hostile content written on some stone tablets, such as eg: “I work for Greece”, “I am Bajram Shuaipi” (Bajram is a fugitive), etc.
- These slogans were written by three children (girls), two of them in the 4th grade of elementary school and the other in the 3rd grade. All three of these girls are from families with good political standing, two of them, who are sisters, have two uncles who are members of the Party, these actions carried out by these children, taking into account the content of the writings, must have been carried out under the influence of other persons, be it their parents or close relations, who must have engaged in hostile activity and who, with these actions carried out by children, wanted to see the reaction of the masses, the Party organization or our Organs, while after this event, they throw the next card in question.
- It is not excluded that this letter was prepared and sent by local people, but who do not currently live in Markat, but who in this regard, may have activated their connections there, for the reason that last week, it was for some days in the village, the son of the former agent of the Greek Intelligence and member of the group of conspirators, Haxhi Bilal, called Ylli Bilali, who works in the salt mine of Dhrovjani, while there from May 17-18, he went to Markat , named Eqerem Ziguri, the son of Haxhi Bilal’s wife, who also works in the salt mine. Eqeremi, whether during the day the letter was found, or the next day when the operative group went, stayed all day in the center of the village and made several movements.
- From the content and manner of expressions, the author has tried to give the impression that he is a foreigner (a person who came from abroad), i.e., a saboteur, but we think that it should not remain so, however, since we have there were also alerts for the entry of saboteurs in this village, the possibility is not excluded that the author is a fugitive, who came as a saboteur with tasks from the Greek Discovery.
We think that the letter should not have been prepared and thrown by one person, but it should be the result of an organized work and that in this village, waste of the hostile group of traitors, Teme Sejko, operate.
For this problem, the plan of agentural-operational measures was compiled and we are working to discover the authors of the letter, we will inform you about everything that comes out.

I FOUND:
That on May 20, 1972, around 05:30, Citizen Haki Myrto found in the center of Markat town, an anonymous letter with hostile content. In this letter, among others, it was written:
“… With these few words, dear Albanians, I want to describe your countless sufferings…! This cannot be tolerated, brothers, that’s why we all have to stand up to win our rights. Down with the Party with Enver Hoxha at the head. Glory to our heroic group led by T. Sejko and T. Demi…”.
As can be seen, in this letter its author calls for organization and the overthrow of our government. Taking into account the above, in order to reach the discovery of the author of this letter, we collect all the materials that will come out in the direction of the letter and the persons who may have written it:
