The third part
Memorie.al/ publishes some archival documents which are part of a voluminous file issued by the Authority for Information of Former State Security Files (AIDSSH) where it is about Bujar Muharrem Doku, former employee of the Municipal Enterprise of the city of Burrel with a radio-technical profession in the Repair-Services department, where he served from 1964 to 1977, when he was arrested by the State Security and sentenced to 7 years in prison for “hostile activity”, on charges of agitation-propaganda ”, etc. The whole investigative and judicial file of Bujar Doku, with the accusations against him as well as with the names of the Operational Workers, the heads of the Internal Affairs Branch of Mat district, investigators, prosecutors, judges, witnesses, up to the employees of the enterprise where he worked, who testified to the investigator and in the trial against him.
Defendant Bujar Doku, being a degenerate element, as well as living a disjointed life, predisposed to oppose the political line, and the revolutionary practice of our party and state, physically and consciously immersed in propaganda the filth of the external enemies of the RPS of Albania, of the Soviet social-imperialists, has long been introduced into conscious paths, into hostile activities for several years, and in meetings with people of its mold, has developed a constant activity of agitation and propaganda against the popular power, against the political line of our party, with the direct aim of undermining and destroying the power of the class, and the dictatorship of the proletariat in our country. Unlike all the people, this defendant thought that the breakdown of relations between the Soviet Union and Albania was the fault of our Party. He expressed these views to witness J. F., telling him that the Soviet leadership is on the right path, while the Albanian one is on the wrong path, and that they do not pursue an independent policy. He extends his hostile activity deeper by saying that the Albanian government. The Albanian government once declares that we are with the Yugoslavs, then with the Soviets, and now it is broken with both of these places. In conversations with this witness, the defendant boasted of foreign music, especially Italian and Yugoslav music, comparing them with Albanian music. He has said that our music is nothing compared to these two. Likewise, the defendant Bujar Doku, falling into the bourgeois-revisionist lap of the internal enemy, has become their usual tellall. He ignores our beautiful music that is liked by people, because it is based on the popular sole, and it is sung to our employees and great works, which changed the look of the homeland ….”!
This is stated, among other things, in the investigative and judicial file of Bujar Doku, a former employee of the Municipal Enterprise of the city of Burrel, with a radio-technical profession in the Repair Services Department, who was arrested by the State Security in June 1977. and was sentenced to seven years in prison “for hostile activity” on charges of “agitation-propaganda”, etc. In this regard, Memorie.al has the complete file in charge of Bujar Doku, which has been issued by the Authority for Information of Former State Security Files (AIDSSH.) And will publish it in several issues in a row, (with facsimiles relevant and in the original version as they were taken by the relevant authorities of that time) together with an interview with his son, Muharrem Doku, a lawyer by profession and residing in the city of Durrës.

Witness depositions in Burrel’s investigation into Bujar Doku
“Bujari told me that in Burrel there are only officers who are not modern, because they come from the village”
Minutes of the witness questioning
Regarding the issue I can say the following:
From 1971 to 1976, I was a radio engineer in the 3711 Burrel Military Unit. From the beginning of 1972 I met Bujar Doku, radio technician in the Repair – Services Department of Burrel. With Bujar we were more connected by profession than he and I had a profession, despite the fact that I was in high school. During this time, we had various conversations with Bujar. So I remember that it was 1973 and I was at the Radio Laboratory, where Bujari worked, during the conversation there about Italian and Yugoslav television stations, are very powerful and with rich programs, while ours has no job stability. , after it was taken from China and the Chinese this time are trying it for the first time with us.
I do not remember exactly, but it must have been November or December 1973, and I was assigned to fix, or rather to build the repeater of Lis, this was also agreed by Bujar Doku and one day walking with him in front of the Post-Telegraph in Burrel, Bujari tells me that we Albanians are not able to build repeaters, the world outside builds repeaters, because there is a basis of modern technical materials, and we do not have and no matter how hard we try not we can reach them.
I do not remember exactly but it was the beginning of 1974 and I was in the laboratory in Bujari, there a customer came and brought him a transistor radio from the ones produced by Durrës, after he left, Bujari told me that these radios that Durrës produces, are very defective, and the outside world has these transistor radios perfect.
It was the end of 1973 and I was in the lab with Bujar. Bujari was reconciling some radios he had arranged but at the Italian station and during the conversation he talked about television programs and music, and Bujari told me that the Italian television station and the Yugoslav one have beautiful educational and rich programs, he went on to say that Italians were born only for music, even Bujari said that the Italian language itself has musicality and when I objected to this I told him that I like Albanian folk music more and especially the labe, he told me that you are behind the world, you are a villager and do not understand. This kind of conversation, Bujar has told me several times. Even in this case, Bujari told me that Italian music is beautiful and that it should be heard by all people, they need to get to know the whole world and we should do this through radio and television.
Generous spoke very badly of the officers. So when I was an officer, it must have been March or April 1975 and I was with Bujar at the Officers’ Club, we were sitting at dinner and Bujar told me during the conversation that: here in Burrel there are only officers and these officers are not people moderate that they all came from the village and if you ask them, they are all lepers. He told me that: you lepers have all your chest pits and say that only you have done the War and ironically the officers said: now it is done that if you throw the hook in the river you catch a carp and if you throw the hook in the river Lana of Tirana, grabs a lab. This conversation about the officers, Bujari has told me several times, but in time and place I remember this case that I said above.
As far as I said they are true and after reading them I signed them.

Regarding the issue I can say the following.
During the time I worked as a radio technician in Burrel, I met Bujar Doku, who also lives in Burrel, and at work he was a radio technician there. During the time I was there I made friends with him. During the various conversations I have had with him, he has always told me that the representatives of the government are without character, they lie, and they do not allow us young people to do as we please. Bujar listened to Italian and Yugoslav music. He spoke ill of our composers and music. I do not remember exactly, but it must have been 1963, when during conversations with Bujar Doku, he told me that the Soviet leadership is on the right track, while the Albanian one is not in order, as they do not pursue an independent policy. Once they said long live Tito, then long live Khrushchev, while now, they are neither with one nor the other. These are stupid and illiterate people. Not only the leader but also the employees of the apparatus and organs of this power. Bujari made such conversations with me continuously until 1965, when I was arrested.

Regarding the issue I can say the following.
Bujar Doku and I met and formed a company there in 1974, after I graduated from university as an engineer and was working in ward 3711. I constantly went to the radio ward, where Bujar was a radio technician. Every time I went to the lab, Bujar turned on the radio almost to the maximum at the Italian and Yugoslav stations, and was heard outside on the street. I for this music, expressed my admiration and Bujar, supported me in liking foreign music. He told me that this music pleases me. As I noticed, Bujari never turned on the radio at the Tirana station, except when he was watching sports. Bujar and I often talked with admiration about Italian and Yugoslav stations. He also spoke well of German and Hungarian technology, saying that German radios are of better quality than Chinese ones. Our technique, and the Chinese one, are very backward compared to the American, French, and German ones. While when Beqir Balluku’s group was hit, I went to his laboratory and he told me, you were not a tyrant. And the one you had in government was taken away from you, and now the lepers have taken over. On one occasion he told me that what it took for you to become an officer was to be a civilian in Tirana. One day a person came to the laboratory and asked Bujar where he was lost. He told her that they were not leaving us comfortable with these actions and Sundays. He also spoke constantly with great admiration for the foreign technique, and underestimated the Albanian one. What I said are true and after reading them, I signed them.

Regarding the issue I can say the following.
Starting in September last year, I have been and am in charge of the radio and television repair laboratory in Burrel. There I had as a technician and Bujar Doku, who has gone through the villages to repair TVs about 10 times. I know, that we as radio and television repairmen, have not had awards for work in the villages. And the time we wasted on trips was included in our salary because we had the work at the norm. As a rule, that other districts have, is that the client who makes the order for repairs at home, pays an amount of money for the lost time and his departure home. As a rule, many districts have this, but we do not have it. I even raised this problem in the seminar that was held in Korça by the General Directorate of Municipalities, in May. I told him about the way of remunerating the technicians that it will be regulated by the economic section of the Executive Committee. But he has not fixed it yet. In the case of trips to the villages, the company has a loss of 60 percent, while the technician 40 percent. I do not know that I have ever listed in the order more defects than the TV actually had. As for Bujar Doku, I do not know whether he did it or not. I can say that the average salary of both me and Bujar Doku, during the time I am in charge, is 400 ALL. As I said, they are true and after reading them, I signed them./Memorie.al
