Memorie.al publishes a voluminous archival file issued by the institution of the Authority for Information of Former State Security Files, where there are hundreds of documents with the logo “Top secret” belonging to the former political prisoner, Xhavit Qesja, originally from the city of Kruja, whose family during the period of occupation of the country, 1939-1944, was closely associated with the Anti-Fascist Movement, being one of its main bases and made available all the wealth it had, as Xhavit was one of the first members of the Albanian Communist Party for the Kruja district, leading the Kruja-Ishëm partisan battalion and the 22nd Assault Brigade. Xhavit Qese’s political career after the end of the War, where he was appointed and served in senior positions in the Albanian Army, the apparatus of the Central Committee of the ALP, and several districts of the country, from where he was sent to study in the Soviet Union, where stayed until 1957, when he was announced to return to Albania urgently, after openly expressing his views in favor of the political line being pursued by the main Kremlin leader, Nikita Khrushchev, condemning the Stalin cult. Enver Hoxha’s conversation with Xhavit Qesen in his office in the Central Committee, where he sharply criticized him for the wrong views he had expressed during his studies in Moscow, urging him to reflect and make self-criticism, but Xhavit rejected the suggestion of the first secretary of the Albanian Labor Party, which caused him to no longer be allowed to go to the Soviet Union to complete his studies, but to be sent to work as deputy chairman of the Elbasan Executive Committee, from where a year later, he was expelled from the Party and exiled to Zvërnec Island, where the communist regime kept isolated some of the former senior party and state cadres whom he had condemned for their anti-party views. Xhavit Qesva’s long ordeal and persecution from 1957 to 1990, where he spent a full 32 years in prison and internment, being one of the few Burrel prison convicts to go on long hunger strikes in protest of the treatment and savage attitude that the communist regime of Enver Hoxha was holding towards him. The complete form, investigative and judicial file in charge of Xhavit Qeses, which is published for the first time by Memorie.al, which contains the documents of the former State Security that reflect the prosecution and wiretapping against him, the reports of Security collaborators with pseudonyms their correspondence with the letters he sent to the highest party and state instances, as well as the highest leaders of the ALP, until 1991 when he was released from prison!

From the date 18-28 / II / 1959. During this time there are no important issues, only these issues are discussed:
There is no other comment on the separation of his wife Xhaviti Qeses, except for those that are listed in the report dated 18 / II / 1959, it was only said by Xhafer Vokshi and Peço Fidhi, that Xhaviti was made to feel sorry for him, Peçoja said that his wife Meribani, should or should make the separation, because otherwise he could not stay in the Party, just as our women did not stay. With the division that Meribani made, Xhavit is shown and it is understood that Xhavit has a bad job i.e. that is deeply inserted. Others do not comment, but remain silent.
Xhavit’s position on the separation is like the first one I reported on 18 / II / 1959, he is not shocked, with his position he hints and in my opinion it is so, that Xhavit was prepared for the division and that have talked and predicted with his wife, therefore Meribani, the decision to separate Xhavit, must be accompanied by the denunciation of Xhavit then the decision will be complete.
Let’s see when the separation decision will come and what position Xhavit will take. During this time, Xhaviti has spent more time reading novels and alone, he has not been associated with others, in very rare cases he hangs out with Pëllumb Dishnica, with whom he chats more.

When Peço and Xhaferri came from Vlora, Peço started to tell how he spent it, showing insignificant conversations he had with the friends of the Ministry and the Vlora Branch. Peço said that we will not stay here long, he has high hopes for release, he is very enthusiastic and he said this in front of everyone, while Xhavit Qesja told him that you will leave and you will leave me here alone.
Rasim and Xhaferi, Peço was told that Peço would not be called anymore, nor did Pellumbi, he only told Rasim about Pëllum. Peço told Rasim: I went through the most difficult one, which was that of Pëllumbi, but after sniffing it was not a thing for the prison, and after they had all the materials that they put on their shoulders for the wall, I told them what I talked to the dove. Whereas Xhaferr Vokshi, appears upset, because he does not have his wife at work, he says that this is how I have always been treated, that is why my job has gone like this and when I tell them you will have treated me badly, they say that it is not true.
Pëllumbi stands in front of Peço, does not speak to him and does not even mention his name. Pëllumbi also spends most of his time reading novels and only rarely accompanies Peço and Xhaferi, he does not talk at all.

From 20 / III / 1959 to 29 / III / 1959, the following issues were discussed by the following persons:
Gjovalin Luka: This one has now improved from the illness that when his wife (Marije Luka) left him, he appears better, there was no pain and he started to move, but with all that he likes to stay in bed and appear sick, says I’m not always good.
He wants to do _____ but this when the State wants to do it and says that ____________, but they do not want to do it to me, after I told the Branch President, but until today I do not have any answer, from this it is understood that they do not want to do me.
Peço Fidhi, he told Rasim Tahiri that when he was in Vlora, they asked him about the shooting of Liri Gega and Dali Ndreu and he replied that shooting them together, I do not call it right because they left the children, but more it would be right to decide to shoot one of them, not both, as it is bad for the children. Rasim did not say anything to her, but just listened.
Peço Fidhi, staying with Rasim and Xhafer Vokshi, asked the latter about the Yugoslav leaders, how many members of the Yugoslav Bureau were expelled from the Yugoslav Party Bureau, as elements against Tito, or for the other line, Xhaferi replied that, are very few and cited Gjilas as an example as a pro-imperialist element and Herbrand and Zujovic as elements that were with the Informbureau, there were no others. Then Peçua asked him about Arso Jovanovi,, Xhaferi told him that our press said that they took him to the border and shot him there, but it is not true that they took him, but it is true that they caught him fleeing and killed.
Peçua, as he received the answer from Xhaferi, that they have not removed others from the Bureau except those mentioned above, said: Xhaferi gave the answer in vain, Peçua accompanied him that he wanted to have a woman with an appearance, as others in the countries of the People’s Democracies, separated the first women and took women who had an appearance. Peços likes to discuss issues about Yugoslavia, but no one talks about it.
Xhavit Qesja told Rasim Tahiri and Xhafer Vokshi that now there are no more friendships and hatreds, but there are friendships, i.e. that through society, tue protecting each other, hold the places they have and rise to responsibility, but said no name. With this opinion was also Xhaferi, who approved by saying that: there is love and friendship as before, i.e., in the time of Zog and Italy. Xhaviti is no longer impressed by the separation with his wife, he now appears as before, i.e., two-three months ago and there were no ____________________ comments about the separation. Xhavit asked Rasim one day, in Xhaferi’s presence, how long he stayed with Tuk and Hulusi Spahina, Rasim told him in 1-4 weeks and then asked him if they had called him in Vlora, Rasim told him no. He always says that I will do 5 years of internment.
Pëllumb Dishnica, does not talk about political issues, he had a great desire for his wife to come to him and this desire is more to learn what Peçua said about him, thinking that Peçua would have told his wife and this to Amalia.

Xhavit Qesja: This one talked to Xhafer Vokshi, Rasim Tahiri was also present and said that his friend _______’s marriage was not fair and made a bad impression on the people. Gjovalin Luka, on 5/4/1959, being a little ill, made a big alarm and the command sent Kapter Hazizi, to whom Gjovalini told that today both the enemies of the people and the criminals are associating, and you are not taking care of me at all. He also said this to Rasim, Xhavit and Pëllumbi. At the time when Gjovalini spoke in this way to Kapter Haziz, Peço Fidhi and Nuri Huta were also present. At the same time, Gjovalini has expressed hatred for the comrades of the Vlora Branch. The next day Gjovalini was very well and apparently made yesterday’s alarm for pressure.
