The document of the State Security Operational Worker, Petrit Deda, where he explains to his superiors, how the secret documents of the State Security could have fallen into the hands of Myrteza Bajraktari’s wife!
Some clarifications related to the delivery of personal belongings to the wife of Myrteza Bajraktari, who was convicted.
I do not remember the exact time when the materials in charge of Myrteza Bajraktari were handed over to me for the first time, but it must have been the end of 1971. These materials were placed in a large file, one part was the processing file and in the other, were his personal belongings, taken during the search in the apartment, which were placed in another large folder and all in a large separate box.
I did not accept these materials, for two reasons, first, that they were not in the direction of my work, second, it was not clarified to me what to do with the file as well as with his personal materials. I was told that; keep them for a while and later it would be clear to me about the path the materials would follow.
Times passed and all my requests, I was not given the correct answer to them. Several times, I intervened and without education to my superiors and finally, I met with the investigator, comrade Elham Gjika and finally I was ordered to hand over my personal belongings to his family. One day, I called his wife and in the presence of my friend Jorgaq Perika, I handed over these items to her in exchange for the minutes.
Before handing over these items, a day or two ago, I did the preparatory work, prepared the process, and was ready to hand it over to my wife. In the preparatory work, I say responsibly, that I have seen with the greatest attention and care all his personal documents and belongings and I do not remember being caught in the eye, the documents, which he says I gave him i.
Also, I have read these documents, some time ago, out of curiosity rather than operational interest and again, I do not remember seeing this document.
During the delivery, I do not claim that until the end, I gave her everything in pieces, but I know to say, that we gave her in pieces and she intervened, not to do this job and called it formal, but I insisted and did my job.
Given this fact, I say that, it may have influenced in this direction and may have reduced my vigilance. But the preparatory work I had done before, I claimed to have done well and with the utmost care.
I wanted to clarify that: for the two dossiers we are talking about, in this report, they were not large dossiers, but they were dossiers the size of an ordinary envelope for letters, and based on this, I thought that it is very difficult to disguise that whole large group of letters.
That we did not give him the letters specified in the piece, this is also explained. These papers were misused and they had no beginning and no end and as a result, I could not determine how many pieces of paper there were in total, this forced me to form two small folders of papers.
The materials in his charge, I have never had in charge. I know that his file has taken this path: It was processed in Fier, from there he came to Tirana, after finishing high school, he was appointed to work in Berat and the materials went there, but his arrest took place and Berat sends it to the Ministry and the Ministry sent it to us and after they came from there, they were given to me for administration.
These were some of the clarifications I intend to give on this issue and if deemed necessary, I am ready at any time to give any kind of explanation that is needed.

Yes well he said, well, what did those letters say, to clarify a dubious letter on this sheet, it was the job I said, something like that, more concrete, I said, we got a little upset, so we had said.
B – Another did not say anything?
G – Next, this was the conversation, he said the letters when you handed them over, and the postcards, you saw them said, i.e., to give the letters and the postcards in one place, I told him, that I did not give him the letters for anything, what contained those letters he told me, when you read them, there was another man there, I told him, only the two of us were, yes you told the other man he told me, whatever I told the other man, well said, wait there, that they will call again.
B – (Does not answer).
G – If you did not notice this letter, it would not have been there in blocks before, no I said, if it was in blocks before, I would say it is not mine, I said where I had in mind and neither it occurred to me that there would be something of yours there, it did not occur to me for that job.
B – I did not see the notes, did not you tell them about the letters?
G – I said, a letter was that I saw, it was thin and written on the outside, that he had written it irregularly, it was in pelican ink, you did not see it, he told me, that this letter is not it was yours, I said no.
B – In the beginning, when I looked at them, did not you tell them?
G – I said, if I had seen them, I would definitely have sent them, what do I need it for! What contained the letters, he spoke I said, so for dubious work, there is one e.g., analyzed, they said, I said these two things were there, besides, there is something else. He was one of those who asked a few easy questions.
B – (Talk about the magazine on the table).
G – He asked me like this, I told him that LEZHA has it; he said …… that I told Myrtezai, that so, so, but I completely forgot that you told me so.
B – I remembered that there is no guarantee from work now.
G – They did not say anything to you about work, as long as he told you, come on, is it work that they did not say anything to you?
B – ………………………………………….
G – He remembers when we handed him these letters, how many of us there were, me, my mother, I said, that friend, the other one, was from Korça.
G – Did he say that this was a friend?
B – Six months.
G – Now November marks the year.
Note:
With that, the conversation is interrupted because the husband leaves and when he returns, he no longer comes to the waiting room, but the two leave.
