Exclusive / Memorie. al makes a facsimile of the “Korca Papers” dated June 21, 1931, where the results of the examinations of the students of the French High School of Korca are published and the name of the student Enver Hoxha does not appear at all in those who took the exams, but it was published two days later in the newspaper in a six-line note, which says “Mention Passable” …?! As well as the names of the classmates and professors of that Lyceum who were shot or imprisoned and deported for years, as they knew much about the life of their schoolmate, Enver….
After the 1990s, many of the secrets of the life of Albania’s communist dictator Enver Hoxha, who for four decades governed his country with an iron hand, became public. One of the most discussed topics in the Albanian press of the post-communist period has been and remains that of Enver Hoxha’s education, where throughout his life he failed to obtain a high school diploma, not even taking the exams of the year. first of undergraduate studies at Montpelje, where he had gone on a King Zog government scholarship. While this is already well known since it was made public by the official historiography of the communist regime of the 1990s, what is not known and never made public is the diploma of Enver Hoxha, a pupil at the Lyceum of Korça, where he studied until 1930 and with what results did he finish that school ?!
For the first time this is made public by this document published by Memoria, which is a facsimile of the Gazette, of Korça, dated June 21, 1930, where a brief six lines only for Enver Hoxha, which reads:
“Enver Hoxha, who received the Mention Passable grade, was not listed incorrectly in the list we published in the forthcoming number of Lyceum students who defensively won the literacy and literacy exams.
So, as stated there, two days ago all the students of the Lyceum of Korça who had passed (written) the written and singing exams (oral) had been published in the said newspaper, and Enver Hoxha’s name did not appear at all. there ?! And this thing, so Enver Hoxha’s name was published in the newspaper just two days later with a six-line paragraph (like a bug fix), which says “Mention Passable”, which in Albanian means “passes the class”, the thing which casts many shades of doubt on the final result of Enver Hoxha’s student ?!
The above most likely indicates that he failed those exams by taking a negative grade and consequently did not pass the grade and, thanks to some intervention, he was corrected and that was made public and marked in the newspaper in question. Passive Mention ”. If the student Enver Hoxha would have had positive results, so if he had passed and with good grades, this would have been noted in the newspaper, but there was only “Mention Passable”, which as we said throws many shades of doubt.
Concerning Enver Hoxha’s past in the French Lyceum of Korça, the life he lived there when he was a pupil of Lyceum but also some years later when he worked for some time as a teacher there, there were many public accusations, (mainly after the 1990s), dealing with both his morally debauched life and the negative outcomes of the teaching process.
The foregoing is said to be related to the imprisonment, deportation or firing that Enver Hoxha did shortly after the war, and then some of his closest friends in the French Lyceum, associates and professors, all graduates of Western universities, such as Professor Farudin Angoni (shot in 1945); Hasan Jero (25 years in prison), Professor Foto Bala, (25 years in prison) Professor Fejzi Dika (12 years in prison), Dr. Isuf Hysenbegasi (life imprisonment, served 9 years in prison), agronomist Adem Beli, (20 years in prison), Dhimitër Canco, (7 years in prison), etc. etc., who knew a lot about Enver’s life during the time he was in the Lyceum of Korça. Some of them felt that they had spoken a word about their former schoolmate, such as Dhimitër Canco, who expressed the enormous debts he had given to Enver in Korça and that he never repaid, while others suffered from Enver’s paranoia that they could speak and thus banished them to prison for years. and internment….?!
Concerning the real results of the student Enver Hoxha in the Lyceum of Korca where he graduated in 1930, “Memory” will investigate in archive documents and publish other data in the coming days …
