Memorie.al/ publishes some archival documents, extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana (the fund of the former Central Committee of PPSh), which also houses the personal archive of the former leader of communist Albania, Enver Hoxha, who in his political diary, which belongs to a long period of time, starting from May 1967, to December 1983, he has kept notes on the events of the Middle East, such as; the long Israel-Palestine conflict, the continuous wars between Israel and the Arab countries, the six-day war in 1967, where Israel defeated Egypt and the coalition of Arab countries, occupied the Golan Heights, the Yom Kippur war in 1973, where again Israel, after defeating the coalition of Arab countries (Egypt, Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon, Morocco, etc.) occupied the Sinai Peninsula, which he surrendered in 1979, blocking and closing the Suez Canal, (where Albania had vital interests, due to the aid that came from China by sea), until the civil war in Lebanon, at the beginning of the 80s, etc. What did the dictator of communist Albania, Enver Hoxha, write in his political diary where he made an analysis, and what was the position of the official Tirana, about the conflict between Israel and the Arab countries, as well as the various countries that support them, such as; Soviet Union, USA, Great Britain, People’s Republic of China, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, etc.?! Was the information that Enver Hoxha had in June 1967 true, according to which, official Moscow would offer assistance to Egypt, bringing its Naval Military Fleet to the Mediterranean, in the event that official Tirana would accept that Soviet ships, to anchor in the ports of Durrës, Vlora, Shengjin, etc., or was it a paranoia of Hoxha, which caused the Albanian Army to switch to combat readiness no. 1, even mobilizing the reserve forces and those of the volunteer squads?! Regarding this, etc., we know the political diary of the former main leader of communist Albania, which will be published in several issues by Memorie.al

PALESTINIANS OPPOSE ISRAELI TERROR
For several days we have been reading numerous news about the demonstrations of the Palestinian people, against the violence and terror that the Israelis exert on them in the occupied Arab lands, as well as in the Palestinian residential centers in South Lebanon. Everywhere, especially in the West Bank, the resistance of the Palestinian forces is great. Meanwhile, there is talk of a mass landing of some special Israeli units, supported by heavy artillery fire, in some points in the north-western region of Beirut, Nabatieh, Tyre, etc. Fighting is going on. There are dead and wounded. The Israelis have suffered heavy losses.
In addition to the military actions, the Israelis continue to expropriate the lands and properties of Palestinian families in order to build new Jewish villages. These inhuman actions, this wild terror against the Palestinians, add to the pain I feel these days for the Kosovar brothers, who have been subjected to a wild terror by the Titian Serbs. Just like the racist Jews of Tel-Aviv and the Serbian titists, they exercise illegal and inhumane violence and terror against the Kosovar Albanians, only because they demand their political and economic rights, based on and within the constitution of Yugoslavia itself. But both the Israelis and the Serbs do harm only to themselves with these actions.

THE KILLER OF PALESTINIANS IN MOSCOW
King Hussein of Jordan is on an official visit to Moscow, received with all the honors that belong to him as a monarch and as an old friend of the Soviet social-imperialists, but also as a buyer of their weapons. Husseini met with Brezhnev to exchange ideas about an “international conference that will solve the problem of the Middle East”. Hussein, the killer of the Palestinians, is expected by Brezhnev, a “friend” of the Palestinians, to solve the problems of the Middle East, in the center of which is the Palestinian people! This is the limit of the “friendship” of the Soviet social-imperialists for the Palestinian people and for other Arab peoples! For them, the problem is the arms trade and not true friendship with the peoples. The Arab peoples and, in particular, the long-suffering and heroic Palestinian people, must not forget this in any way and for no moment.

NOTE
Yesterday the Prime Minister of Israel, Menaem Begin, arrived in Washington to talk with the American President Reagan. As every other time, this visit is also related to the Israeli government’s request for political and military support from American imperialism, on the threshold of its new anti-Arab adventures. In fact, during all these recent times, the Israeli army has continued to bombard Palestinian residential centers in Lebanon, terrorizing Palestinians, as well as Judaizing their lands. Military provocations against Lebanon and other Arab countries have increased. As the signs are showing, Israel is preparing for new military strikes, not only against the Palestinians, but for a large-scale military intervention in Lebanon, even for provocations against the Syrian military forces, which are located in the latter.

THEY KILLED SADAT
While a military parade was taking place in Cairo, a commando of Egyptian soldiers shot and killed Anwar al-Sadat. Thus disappeared a fascist, a political chameleon. The adventurous career of a tool of the Americans ended ingloriously, these days, because before he was a tool of the Soviets. Sadat has repeatedly played the card of world reaction. He was Hitler’s ally, he met and got along with Rommel, he was friends with the Khrushchevites, he kissed Israel, he became an enemy of the Arab peoples, and he was connected to the United States of America and their strategy in the Middle East. Who killed Sadat? Terrorists like him. We’ll see who they point the finger at. The United States of America and Israel did not care about his murder. The Soviets were interested in their global strategy and in the Middle East, where the situation became more complicated than it was.
He was directly interested in Libya’s Gaddafi, who, under the “umbrella” of the Soviets, surrounded Egypt with the alliances he made with Syria, Ethiopia and South Yemen. He openly attacked Sadat and Nimeir of Sudan. Libya also attacked and occupied Chad. On a more distant scale, it has also interested other Arab countries, which are pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel. These Arab countries were also interested in blackmail against the Americans. The killing of this adventurer was done, therefore, by other adventurers for the interests of other greater adventurers. Even before this murder, the situation was dangerous, but now it becomes even more dangerous. The superpowers have clashed with each other and are putting the world, more and more, on the path of nuclear war. The peoples must also strengthen the fight against the warmongers and their tools.

NEW CONSPIRACIES AGAINST THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
The great imperialist-Zionist conspiracy against the Arab peoples and above all the martyrs, the Palestinian people is becoming more and more concrete. I have read in news agency reports that US President Reagan has sent a new message to Israeli Prime Minister Begin publicly assuring him that the United States of America is committed to guaranteeing “Israel’s security” in every time. This message, along with the large sums of financial and military aid to the Begin government that the US imperialists have, has recently been increasing day by day, , speaks of a new step, premeditated by them, which will be a further encouragement to the Israelis, aggressive and adventurous anti-Arab policy to legalize the so-called “secure borders of Israel”.
Through this “secure borders” policy, Israel aims to keep the main occupied parts of Arab territory, especially the West, the Jordan River, the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights, under permanent occupation. There will be new developments in the Middle East, especially in the anti-Palestinian one, the policies of imperialism, Zionism and reaction.

ISRAEL’S SERIOUS THREATS
In recent days, the events in Lebanon are taking on a sharper and wilder character. The fratricidal war is taking place in Beirut, between different factions of the Lebanese people, with special emphasis on the armed provocations against the Palestinian forces in the southern regions of the city. Directly involved in all these events are the American imperialists and especially the Israelis, who are trying to liquidate the organized Palestinian forces in Lebanon. As Western news agencies report, Prime Minister Begin has made an arrogant statement threatening Lebanon’s sovereignty. Speaking about the recent events in that country and the situation in Beirut, in particular, he said, among other things: “We will consider the possibility of invading Lebanon.”
This statement has impressed the world opinion, because it is an escalation of the already tense situation, constitutes a warning of imminent dangers and shows that the Israeli aggressors are preparing new plans for war against the Arab peoples, first of all, against the Palestinian people. In this arrogant, contemptuous attitude towards the world, Israel has the open support of American imperialism and the covert support of Soviet social-imperialism, both of which are interested in increasing the tension in this region of the world and liquidating the resistance of the Palestinians with the people .
Imperialists and social-imperialists, wolves and their jackals, like to fish in troubled waters because it makes it easier for them to extract plots and plunder the wealth of the peoples of the Middle East. It is essential that the Arab peoples and, above all, the Palestinian people, increase their vigilance and combine in a true unity, to face the danger that threatens them. Only through uncompromising war can the Israeli aggressors and their imperialist and social-imperialist patrons be dealt with.

ISRAELITES DE FACTO OCCUPY BEIRUT
I am closely following the developments in Lebanon where, as I wrote before, there is a very serious and dangerous situation. For several days, the Israeli air and naval forces and ground artillery have been heavily bombarding the capital of that country, Beirut, especially the suburbs where the Palestinian population and their organized forces are concentrated. The news agencies are talking about an advance of tens of thousands of troops of the Israeli army, heavily armed and with modern mechanization, that is, towards Beirut. From what we read in news agency reports and watch on TV, we are faced with the de facto occupation of Beirut by the Israeli army and the implementation of long-standing plans to expel Palestinians from Beirut and all of Lebanon. Where do the Israeli aggressors find the courage to challenge the sovereignty of an independent state like Lebanon and attack the freedom of its people?
American imperialism is protecting them. Today I read a report that Yitzhak Shamir, Israel’s foreign minister, has stated: “The United States of America has begun plans to use land and naval forces to resolve the Lebanese crisis.” And Shamir makes these statements, so compromising for the Americans, for nothing. On the contrary, he is sure of such support, because he himself was recently in Washington and received comprehensive guarantees from the American government. In fact, the US 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean, with several hundred aircraft and about 8,000 US marines, specialized in urban warfare, is being reinforced and heading towards the coast of Lebanon. We will see how the events will develop.
Will the Lebanese tolerate the occupation of their country by the Israelis? Will Palestinians surrender to Israeli brutality? The following days will give us the answers to these questions. I think the Israelis will make every effort to carry out their invasion plans, but will encounter stiff resistance in Lebanon, especially from Palestinian fighters. One thing catches your attention. While Israel is acting openly and has the open support of the United States of America, the Soviet Union, is simply making “threatening” press statements about the possible consequences of worsening the situation, putting its Mediterranean fleet in motion and nothing more.

SEVERE BLOW TO PALESTINIANS
What I had predicted about the real goals of the Israeli military aggression against Lebanon, namely the destruction of the organized forces of the Palestine Liberation Movement, is coming to pass. Yesterday news agencies began to say that after fierce clashes between the Israelis, the military forces and the Palestinian forces in Beirut, the Palestinians were retreating from Beirut to the regions north of that city, under the pressure of the Israeli army. In addition, another very cunning maneuver is being carried out. Under the pretext that the withdrawal from Beirut of the Palestinians, the forces unharmed by the Israelis, should be “secured and guaranteed”, it was an agreement that was sought and apparently achieved, that a large number of troops of the United States of America, France and Italy, should be sent to Lebanon.
These units, which will be called “multinational forces”, are supposed to oversee the withdrawal of the Palestinians. Each of these units will be under independent command and will be armed with all combat tools. I am following the events in Lebanon with special attention, because they may have consequences for the entire Mediterranean, the Balkans and Central Europe, so they may affect our country as well. I have talked with comrades and given instructions that we should continue through the press to expose the aggressive intentions of Israel and the conspiracies of American imperialism. We must continue to support the just struggle of the Palestinian people for their rights.

AMERICANS LAND IN LEBANON
News agencies report that 800 US Marines disembarked from ships of the 6th Fleet today in Beirut “to restore order” and maintain “peace” between warring factions. In reality we are dealing with an American army, the occupation of Lebanon in accordance with what was called the “strategic agreement” recently reached between Reagan and Begin. Based on this agreement, the US government has pledged to use any means to protect the Israeli aggressors in their war against the Arabs and Palestinians. It is said that in addition to the American troops, the special detachments of the Italian army have also arrived, while the French detachment arrived a few days ago. These troops, called “multinational forces”, are sent for the mission of “calming” the situation in Beirut and “supervising” the withdrawal of Palestinians from the Lebanese capital.

A SERIOUS CRIME AGAINST PALESTINIANS IN BEIRUT
A very serious crime has been committed these days in two Palestinian camps, Sabra and Shatila, in the western suburbs of Beirut. From the dawn of September 17 to September 18, armed units, said to be from the Lebanese Phalangist militia and a dissident unit commanded by a Major Haddad, who is equipped, trained and financed by the Israeli government, entered these two camps which were surrounded by Israeli army detachments. They opened fire in the most barbaric way, slaughtering about 1,500 Palestinians, women, innocent, defenseless, children, elderly, boys and girls, sick, and so on, without discrimination.
In some cases, they disappeared entire families, in shelters where they had taken refuge. This crime was committed in the dark of night and complete darkness of the news was maintained for more than 24 hours. Meanwhile, the aggressors left and were able to cover their tracks. As the news agencies report, the journalists learned about this ugly crime, after some delay and mainly from the efforts of the Palestinians, still alive but very terrified, to leave the scene of the crime. This event has caused deep indignation everywhere. Protests have started and demands are being made that the perpetrators of this inhumane crime should be severely punished. The Israelis, political and military circles, are trying to excuse themselves, saying that they “don’t know anything about this”, “don’t know who the killers are”, and so on.
However, a number of contradictory statements, as well as the fact that these two camps were in the region we are talking about, the control detachments of the Israeli army, the high command of the Israeli army of occupation in Beirut, but also the Ministry of War and Prime Minister Begin personally, knew this crime and had participated in it. Defense Minister Sharon, who heads Israeli military units in Lebanon, and Chief of General Staff Aton are said to have authorized the commission of this crime, under the tacit protection of Israeli units, and then imposed a news blackout.
The crime committed in Sabra and Shatila is so serious that even in Tel Aviv itself, an uproar has begun, demanding to “reveal the truth” and “punish those responsible”, to save the “honor” of the Israeli people. ! On television these days, I have seen scenes of terrible massacres that have been carried out in these two Palestinian camps, piles of corpses, children crying for their parents, grieving women, searching among the victims, for family members of theirs, and so on. These are painful scenes, which arouse indignation and hatred for these young barbarians. Only the German Nazis have committed such monstrosities. Progressive humanity must strictly denounce the perpetrators of this crime.
How sorry I am for the Palestinian people, driven from their homeland and persecuted in the cruelest ways by the Israeli aggressors and other reactionary forces. And why? Because they are fighting for their rights, to return to their homeland, because they demand justice, from those who do not want to know what justice is, but simply trample the rights of other people’s underfoot, like Israelis and their clients. The American imperialists, through the press, say that; we will indignantly denounce this barbaric crime against the Palestinian population and expose its direct perpetrators and their vicious supporters as war criminals.
