Memorie.al publishes some archival documents extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana (fund of the former Central Committee of the ALP), belonging to 1968, where the Director of State Security, Feçor Shehu, through several reports -information with the logo “Top secret”, informs the Central Committee of the ALP and personally, Hysni Kapon, the secretary who covered the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of People’s Defense, etc., regarding the “hostile comments” made by elements different in some districts of the country, such as: in Tirana, Durres, Lushnje, Lezha, Tropoja, Saranda, Kukes, Elbasan, Gjirokastra, Përmet, etc., for the military aggression of the Soviet Union against Czechoslovakia! How did the political prisoners, such as: Halim Xhelo, Maqo Çomo, Kin Dushi, Vangjel Xhomaka, Abdulla Sallaku, etc., comment on those events in Burrel prison, as well as some members of the foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Tirana, who were intercepted by the ‘House with Leaves’?!

From the announcements of the 6 Branches of Internal Affairs made in the last two or three days, it turns out that the enemy element encouraged by the situation created after the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet Union and its successors, has intensified its hostile comments. Comments have also been made by some people who are not in control of our bodies. The most characteristic comments are;
- In the district of Saranda
31 people spoke about the events in Czechoslovakia, of which 14 in processing, 10 in contingent, and out of control 7. While as a layer are rich 2, medium 15, and poor 14. Comments consist;
“The Soviets occupied Czechoslovakia to eradicate democratic socialism. They will do the same in other countries, including our country; they therefore play a military game, as they are afraid of attacking us like Czechoslovakia. These two days 15 people have spoken, of these 11 are in processing and contingent and 4 out of control. Have commented;
“It seems to us that the wind has blown that Albania, like the Czech Republic, will be attacked. The Soviets do not come from the border, but from the sky sending many planes, which will cover the sky so that you do not see the sun with your eyes. These are kept in vain in the morning shade. They were putting us in a dead end by playing with fire, with a colossal state like the Soviet Union, which within 4-5 hours, puts an end to everything. -If something happens, I will kill these people to get enough, because they will deal with the Soviets and they do not have time to see us what we will do, only one thing needs to be known, or people are very well prepared by us ideologically, or it has come to the tip of your nose. “Before we did not leave the Warsaw Pact, because being a member, we were protected from the attacks of imperialism, while now, after the events in the Czech Republic, they want to leave, because under his pretext, they will attack us, etc.”
- In the district of Kukes
In this district, 20 persons commented, out of which 17 in processing and contingent and 3 out of control, belonging to them; rich 3, middle 13, poor 4, all of whom work and live in the village. These are expressed;

In terms of events, it is noticed in this district that the elements in the contingent have been activated, where although for years they have not spoken, currently encouraged by the situation, they have jumped into the activity, saying:
“The Soviets will act in Albania as well as in the Czech Republic, leaving the apparatus in the country, with only a few changes, removing some leaders, and others. “The speech in the People’s Assembly is strong, but even the Soviets who invaded the Czech Republic within three hours are strong.”
- In the district of Lezha.
The enemy element that is followed by our ranks but also outside our operational records, a total of about 25 people have made various comments. The most important are; “This government that has armed all the people, remembers that in case of aggression it faces it, but it is wrong, because B.S. and others who follow him, are very strong and cannot resist even if every Albanian had a cannon instead of a rifle. The people of this government overestimate themselves, our country is small and lonely, if we are attacked, we have no neighboring country to help us, China is far away. - In the last two days, there has been an increase in comments in the ranks of the army. The comments were mostly made by soldiers, but there were also some officers.
Officer Ndue Isufi, effective in Rep. 5458 Berat, said: “If war breaks out, we will see these brave men who speak so beautifully of what they will do.” This officer, it turns out, has no confidence in the defense ability of our country.
Other comments were made in this direction: “The Soviets are very strong, there is no state to come forward, while the Chinese, although they are a great power, do not have things like that, they are fighting each other inside and after the death of Mao Zedong, it is possible to follow the path of the Soviets, our press does not tell the truth about Dubcek, he knows the plan of the Soviets, his arrest, it was formal and the Czech people love the Soviets; now there is a danger that the war in the Balkans will break out, our country will be severely damaged, the Security will arrest those it considers to be their opponents.
Albania will suffer what Czechoslovakia suffers. these forces consist of 4 divisions, etc.
