Memorie.al/ The son of the former deputy prime minister and organizational secretary of the PPSh Central Committee, lieutenant-general, Tuk Jakova, (“Hero of the People”), publishes archival documents with two expert reports of the death of his father him, with the signatures of the relevant doctors, which were reported to the Central Committee of the PPSh at the time, by the Minister of Internal Affairs, lieutenant-general, Kadri Hazbiu, and an appeal was made to the relevant state structures of the Albanian government and the Prime Minister personally, to clarify this event, by doing toxic analyzes of his father’s bones, in a specialized laboratory abroad, which would show that Tuk Jakova was poisoned and did not die of appendicitis!
Are you impressed by this fact, why two expertises for one death?! One directly after the autopsy and the other, a month later, with the direct interest of the Party’s central leadership. Why…!!! Before arguing “Tomorrow”, it is worth explaining who the Party was, for those who have not known and lived with it. The leadership of the Party was an instrument in the hands of Enver Hoxha, consisting of a group of people, selected and chosen by him, as the most trusted and most obedient. According to her pyramid, the top was Enveri. He was God. According to the scale, the Bureau came next and then the Central Committee. These two forums, according to the hierarchy, had the powerful people in Enver’s party army. There was a slogan. “When we say the Party we mean Enver and when we say Enver we mean the Party”!
Every product, valuable or black of his mind, was meticulously implemented by the pyramid and controlled, or filtered by Enver until the very end. Whoever neglected was penalized as an enemy with consequences in the family up to the relatives. At that time even the walls had ears; there was no trust within the family; not a few times the brother has spied on the brother or the son on the father and vice versa. The consequences were tragic, the spy went to prison, the spy committed suicide out of shame, the other members were sent to exile for re-education! Psychological terror and centralism were at their highest. No one could give any opinion or take a personal initiative without Enver’s permission.
I will focus on the black, dark, macabre and mafia part of Enver, exercised in the case of the death of my father, Tuk Jakov. From the memories of his friends from childhood and youth, Enver’s negative deeds begin in “pioneering”. Very little documented are those during the War and the government, at a time when mafia eliminations are significant in both stages. From the beginning of the war, he created the “Phalanx” of crime, to eliminate competitors and opponents. Upon coming to power, “Falanga” was structured in the Ministry of the Interior. Enver acted with a secret hand. He whispered orders for elimination in his ear and through the chain of the “Falange”, the whisper ended up with the executioner. Not once did the executor know the client.
He meticulously, faithfully and devoutly carried out the duty given by the Party. Thus, the “customer” with absolute exclusivity in the eliminations did not leave any factual traces. Then the “radar”, which first received the whisper (order), together with the chain, after several whispers, was eliminated by the following “radar”. The cycle is repeated several times until the end of the “whisperer”. But only the document, which did not exist, did not matter. The echoes or opinion that the commissioned act left behind were also important. The “whisperer” had filled this vacuum with the agitation-propaganda organ and the “angelic” spirit of the Party. Nevertheless, few people were indoctrinated, because the cases were so repeated that they imposed even on the mentally unskilled the necessity of a conclusion. This was shown by the people’s trial in “Skënderbej” square in February 1991.
After this exposition comes the turn of the explanation of “Perses”, the two expertises?!
The first expertise on the body of my father Tuka Jakova, made directly after the autopsy and before the victim was buried, says: – “He came to the hospital without delay, he was operated on without delay, for the first 5 days he had no fever and no discomfort”. He improved every day, it was thought, to leave the hospital according to the rule after 9 days, that is, still 2 days after death. Everything happened after the “lightning” (poisoning). The autopsy says that: “The operation was done in order, the site was tied well and firmly, and it improved. Conclusion… the operation was successful, the patient improved for 5 days, enough to leave the ward, but suddenly died. The reason…from “Acute” peritonitis, which caused intestinal paralysis and poisoning of the whole body,” says report No. 1. How was this “Acute” peritonitis caused, when every action was performed at the right time and with precision…?!
There is medical science that accepts this death from appendicitis with this data…?! Where did this “lightning” come from on a sunny day in the open sky…?! How was that poison created in the gut?! Was it biological or chemical poison? The autopsy did not dare to determine it. The biological poison would be created around the operated hearth, but the autopsy found the hearth not only in order, but improved. Logically, the hearth would be inflamed, it would be red, and maybe it would stink. In fact, the opposite was found. Indirectly, it is implied that, for the poison to go to the intestines, it started its journey from the mouth.
Then consequently, the poison was injected orally with cognac, which was given to the “Phalanx” of the crime in the director’s room. This act is shown by the co-sufferer present, Mr. Nikollë Zagoriani, who communicated with Tuku, before and after the meeting with the “Falanga” of crime. The first version, compiled by the hospital on August 27, 1959, for the Minister of the Interior, was sent by the Minister of the Interior, Hysni Kapos, on September 14, 1959, and leaves doubts that we have a “lightning” (poison), in the sky without clouds, in the middle of the day. What determines the autopsy and the hospitalization procedure, demolish the “Acute” peritonitis variant!!! Enveri, as a “whisperer”, informed them immediately, knowing “where the rabbit slept”, did not accept this variant, suggesting its modification, because the “lightning” appears clearly in an open cell, on a sunny day.
The second variant, compiled a month later than the first, is apparently more serious. It was compiled by 3 famous doctors and does not smoke completely in the opinion of “lightning” in a cloudless sky. They have not seen Tuku, but they have analyzed the card. This variant states that: the patient was presented with a very long delay of more than 30 hours, which is not stated in the first variant. This is the responsibility of the prison, Tuku was not delayed because he had any important personal preoccupations or there was traffic. At that time there was zero traffic, because there were no cars and the hospital was about 2.5 km away away. This is considered the main cause of death. If it was delayed, the purpose of the delay was to annihilate the cell and this would be a trivial crime. It would be laughable for the delay to be considered bureaucracy. No one dared to delay Tuku, taking personal responsibility. This delay caused appendicitis perforation and “Acute” peritonitis, says the second variant.
It was played with the delay in admission, to justify the death. I oppose this. The autopsy and card data could not be tampered with, because they were not under the authority of the Ministry of the Interior. Thus the reasoning of death was compromised or de-conspired. As far as it is said, this delay does not have a fatal role. This point, which is called the main one, I will analyze and explain with my experience and that of family members. Three of Tuku’s children (me and two sisters) have had problems with appendicitis.
The case of the peritoneum older sister. Her bowels were gurgling. Due to the circumstances (internment and her mental health illness) she could not be operated on. We agreed to be cured with high doses of antibiotics at home and then what was the luck. There was no medical presence; the injections were given by the aunt. The peritonitis spread. 38 years have passed, thankfully the sister is alive. The other sister’s case was normal.
My case of peritonitis. I went to the hospital 3 days late. I had neither pain nor fever. I felt bloated and could barely bend over. I lay in bed, not knowing that I had appendicitis, thinking that it will pass. I had experienced this condition 8 months ago. After the examination, I ended up in emergency surgery. In the first consultation after the operation, the operating doctor told the boss that I had peritonitis and carcinoma (gangrenization) and that the cleaning was done very carefully. It’s been 15 years and thankfully I’m alive!
As can be seen, the operating doctor notices and determines the degree of advancement and the dangerousness of the disease. It operates by eliminating any eventual consequences and risks. Peritonitis starts, not when the pain starts, but when the appendicitis is confirmed. Then the pain decreases. How soon after the onset of pain, the piercing occurs, this is individual. The operating doctor did not know the developments in the prison (the delay), but seeing and touching the situation concretely, he concluded that: the patient arrived without delay. Although the appendicitis may have been perforated, the peritonitis was probably just beginning. Peritonitis activity has not been preoccupying. Peritonitis is fatal when persistent, accompanied by high fever after surgery. This did not happen to Tuku. This is the meaning of the case. The determination of the arrival within the necessary time as well as the improved wound, are very significant for the occurrence of “lightning” in the open sky, which is baptized “Acute” peritoneum!
In unsolved crimes and left at the mercy of “Falang”, the suffix “Acute” is added to the diagnosis. In the case of Tuku, it is justified with “Acute” peritonitis, while after drinking coffee in the club, the victim is diagnosed with an “Acute” heart attack, or is found to have committed suicide at home or in the office. Strange these “Acute” cases…?! Tuku’s peritonitis, which was not dangerous, was operated on and cured in time, disappeared for 5 days, then surprisingly became remorseful, woke up, gathered forces and attacked like lightning, annihilating the victim, Tuku, as an insidious avenger. Surely this type of “Acute” peritonitis must have been “intelligent”, because it acted like a human?! I am impressed by the fact that I show. In Tuku’s library, I found a catalog that revealed all of Stalin’s political crimes during his 29 years at the head of the party. It is terrible how and how much the head has been peeled off with the help of Beria (Minister of the Interior), through Dr. Levinski and the “Falanga”. Stalin died in March 1953. Tuku was expelled from Tirana at the end of June 1955.
For two years, how were these Stalinist mafia crimes revealed, when they were translated into Albanian, when they were distributed, when they ended up in Tuku’s library? All this in less than 2 years?! It’s impressive. When there is pre-disposition, what is not done and when there is no pre-disposition, what is not done. The report of uncovering the crimes of communism for 2 years in Russia with 32 years in Albania shows the zero pre-disposition of the Albanian political class. This means that they want to die with Enver the hero. The second variant distracts the focus on the “lightning”, charging the Prison Directorate and the Hospital with total responsibility, incapacitating the medical staff, who operated and treated Tuku, making the patient responsible even a little.
Can the State not be blamed in this case? Should the state clarify this case? Regardless of who the head of the State is responsible for with mutual accusations, here we are dealing with a desire and right to live, of a man contributing to Albania, interrupted by the heads of the State themselves. So we are simply dealing with a party crime, where the State with its levers was used as the perpetrator. This is called a “state crime”. The second attention variant places the turret, to direct the critical focus, where the “Whisperer” wants. This is the essence that explains “Tomorrow”. In both variants, other professional medical reasons have no role in Tuku’s fatality. They are catalog theories, to manipulate opinion. Even God cannot escape poison.
Dear father…! In the last breath, you leave a bequest, for the disclosure of your death, those present and co-sufferers, Mr. Nikol Zagoriani. With the help of him and friends, I have managed to clarify her story, but I have not been able to explain it. Bone toxicology must be done in an off-site laboratory and this comes at a cost. There are two reasons that make it impossible:
– The first is the disclosure by the State. The state has created and completed the institutional facade, but unfortunately, without a budget and budget, for solving cases like yours. For this the State is without memory, deaf-mute and blind. Long live the facade, the pre-disposition is missing. I started the legal process through the lawyer, so that your case will be materially taken over by the State. The first station is the Prime Minister’s Office. Here the answer was rejecting, insulting and malicious. Why this stance on uncovering the truth? This apparatchik, appointed to serve the citizen, must have a state and moral attitude to the truth. The position, the morality of the State lies on the side of uncovering the truth, not of moving away from it, as if it were a deadly germ. The state is not bad for maybe 10,000 euros. His morals stand above any price. The apparatchik was not asked to pay out of pocket. He has no obligation, while the state does. He could forward the problem higher to the Prime Minister, but it does not seem to correspond to the given place.
Dear father, it was a moment when the Albanian youth fought with dedication and selflessness for freedom, justice, equality and well-being. From these human values, your generation is no longer repeated for Albania. This was preached by communism, because it was fashionable. As a youth you were seduced and created a powerful movement. You liberated and secured Albania in today’s borders, unfortunately you brought the “monster devil” into power. Without exception, idealists and intelligentsia were exterminated by this “devil”. Looking at it from today’s position, if you knew, for whom and why you fought, you would surely have regretted it. l stood out in your activity in the War and in those few years in power, you received the value “National Hero” (this is how the motivation is written). You are generally considered a more valuable stone, for the impressions you have left. Precisely for these reasons, I say that it is in the honor of the State to carry your trust to the country.
Your case is about a step-by-step political elimination up to physical mafia annihilation of a “People’s Hero”. The readiness of the State to clarify these cases respects the State and honors it, also respects the rank and order, regardless of the time when it happened. Here I am not mentioning the consequences in the family and brothers. The trust of the earth (Albanian postulates). Of course, time takes its course and the living forget the dead, without thinking that their turn will come, and this phenomenon does not exclude politics either. Therefore, father, if you were alive with the certainty of the motivation granted by the then Assembly, denied after the sentence, recycled after the 90s, you would find a place. He has no value. How the country is found in this case, the people have an expression. I also find a place for it, because physiologically I live in order, but I remember it. The second impossibility is my economic impossibility. I lived a long life so that I could complete this legacy. I’m 75 years old, so I’m a clockwork mine. Thinking that the remaining time is… with question marks, I will turn to the State through e-Albania, to be invested in doing the toxic analysis of the bones in a legal way.
In case of silence, I will turn to the media, so that the media spreads this writing in space towards God, with the desire to transform it into rain. I pray that this rain will fall on the sealed table of the Prime Minister and politicians, as subjects that have an end that will surely leave a legacy. I wish not like yours. Unable to meet them, because I can’t find a path, I am respectfully playing the last stone. politicians who know the vote business. Understand that, as a function of time, you are a chorus and definitely like your predecessors, you will be devalued and forgotten. You will bear the weight of the “soup” on your name, which the next chorus will cook for you. The morality of duty has two main components, right and truth. Time does not undo crime. If the fresh wants justice, the old wants truth or clarification. In the case of Tuku, no one is punished, because the perpetrators are dead. It becomes politics with fresh and sometimes banal crime, because votes are needed. But why does it become deaf-mute with the old crime indications of the high levels of the dictatorship, which are dubious and unproven crimes of the dictatorship state…?! Why…?!
There are simply no votes and that requires vision and state interest. Unfortunately, this kind of vision does not give profit, not even votes. It is about a weighty figure in the organization and direction of the liberation struggle. This liberation had an end of national value;… it is about a figure who led state institutions (not of the line of the Ministry of the Interior) in those few years after the liberation, which were so difficult;… it is about a “People’s Hero” . Our country and history honors and boasts about liberation, but not the contributors. For them, the apparatchiks have the trash can. Good and bad are part of the whole. Each whole has historical value in its own stage. These are differentiated and evaluated by time and history with its competence, but not by the current apparatchiks in e-Albania. Undoubtedly, in a future state and more humane chorus, this puzzle will be clarified, that Tuku has grandchildren, great-grandchildren and has left a bequest. Shame on which it falls on the table, from e-Albania or the media, and does not take the trouble to direct it to the path of enlightenment. Thank you.

On 26/VIII/1959, at 23:35, after 8 days in the 15th Pavilion of the Tirana Civil Hospital, the convict Tuk Jakova died under the circumstances noted below:
On 19/VIII/1959, around 9 o’clock in the morning, being in Prison No. 5 where he was serving his sentence, Tuk Jakova complained of abdominal pain, in this case, with the interest of the prison administration, he was visited by pathologist Qazim Cerga (of prisoner), who at first does not find anything urgent and although Tuku tells him that he has been suffering from appendicitis for a long time, the doctor gives him some belladonna drops and cold compresses to relieve the pain.
At the same time, Doctor Qazim Cerga recommends that the patient be visited by a surgeon, claiming that he was suffering from appendicitis.
At 10:00 on the above date, the Chairman of the II Branch of Sig. State, Colonel Filat Muço, alerted to this by the prison administration, goes together with the surgeon Llambi Ziçishti, who after visiting him, did not find any particular appendicitis pain (this was probably due to the relaxation caused by drinking belladonna). , however, it is recommended to be kept under observation and in case the pains recur, to be sent to the hospital immediately.
Since at around 15:00 the pains started to be felt again, based on the recommendation of surgeon Llambi Zicishti, accompanied by Colonel Filat Muço, the patient was taken to the Civil Hospital, where he was taken in by doctor Qirjako Lezho, who accompanied by doctor Arqile Andrea and nurse Naile Ramku, after making all the necessary preparations for the operation, at 18:00 they operated successfully.
Acute appendicitis was found with a small gangrenous and perforated tip. The appendicitis was removed and, after penicillin and streptomycin were injected into the abdomen, it was closed according to the rules. After the operation, the patient felt well and for this he thanked the doctors and the colonel for the care shown.
From the 19/VIII/1959 to the 24/VIII/1959, apart from the usual pains of the operation, not only was there no discomfort and pain, but the wound was moving towards normalization, so much so that we thought of taking it to the ambulance for further sedation and treatment of the prison where he was serving his sentence.
On 24/VIII/1959, i.e. 5 days after the operation, the patient Tuk Jakova suffered a paralytic intestinal complication, caused (according to the clinical record and autopsy) by peritonitis, which caused intoxication in the whole organism. This condition continued until 23:35 on 26/VII/1959, at which time despite the constant interventions of the doctors of civil hospital No. 2, it was not possible to save him from death.
Throughout the day of 26/VII/1959, the patient was in a worsening condition, as shown in the clinic card, the doctors made efforts to improve him, using different methods of treatment such as blood donation, etc. , but there was no result. The doctors who treated him on 25 and 26/VIII/1959 were: Dr. Qirjako Lezho, Dr. F. Paparisto and Dr. Alec Bozo.
It is worth noting in this case, that our bodies were not informed by the Civil Hospital about the serious health condition of the patient. We only found out about this at 12 o’clock on 26/VII/1959, when we went to the hospital as usual, to find out about his health and to talk to the doctors about his withdrawal to the prison ambulance.
From the notes in the clinical record and the autopsy done after death, it turned out that technically the operation was done properly and the operated site was well and firmly closed, that the patient was sent for surgery within the necessary time but later, from peritonitis intestinal paralysis and poisoning of the whole organism was caused.
During the autopsy, a gland in the neck (thymus) was also found, which in adults should have completely disappeared. The presence of this gland in adults makes the organism very sensitive and unable to resist the necessary medications. Blood vessel damage was also found in the heart.
According to the doctors’ conclusions, there is nothing left to suspect about his death; however, this is a problem, from the side of our bodies, it should be followed especially to clarify that after the operation, based on the consideration that the doctors or the hospital staff were against the patient, as a convicted anti-party element, they did not showed the proper interest in his regular and continuous treatment, although in this regard, based on the interest of our bodies, it turns out that such neglect is not necessary.
The doctor who operated on him, Qirjako Lezho, is A.P. good surgeon and deputy director for the technical side of Civil Hospital No. 2, the woman is of Yugoslav origin. But in its direction, our bodies have nothing negative. With the same guarantees are the other doctors who took part in his cure.
In this matter, our bodies have a heavy responsibility for the fact that:
- They did not assess the matter sufficiently and immediately informed the Central Committee of the Party about his illness and operation.
- They did not take the necessary measures for his family to be aware of the disease and to be in contact with the patient before and after the operation, in order to avoid any misunderstandings or negative comments that may be made in the future about his death.
Attached to the report: Copy of the clinical record that contains the entire history of the disease and medical intervention and the autopsy report on the causes of death, as well as a scathing report from the doctor Qirjako Lezho and a report from the prisoner doctor Qazim Cerga who made the first visits.

Medical report (No. 2)
The medical committee composed of Dr. F. Hoxha, P. Cani, Xh. Gjata, by the order of the Minister of the Interior, examined the clinical record and the anatomical-pathological reports of the deceased Tuk Jakova and found the following:
- From the anamnesis recorded in the card, it is clear that the patient was presented to the hospital with a very long delay, more than 30 hours from the beginning of the first signs of the disease. This delay caused the appendicitis to perforate causing an acute peritonitis.
- The diagnosis made by the guard surgeon Dr. Qirjako Lezho was correct.
- The operation was performed immediately according to the rules of surgical art.
- The cure after the operation was correct, after it was done, penicillin, streptomycin, camphor, caffeine, etc. But it was not complete for the following reasons:
Taking into account the severe form of the disease (perforated appendix with peritonitis) it was necessary to fight with all means from the beginning to avoid the main complications that occur in these cases such as intoxication and paralytic ileus.
– Concretely, since the first days, they do not appear to have been given a disinfectant solution such as physiological solution in sufficient quantities, 5% glucose solution, blood transfusion or plasma. These were done only on the last day when he was in a very serious condition.
– The second complication (paralytic ileus) was not sufficiently fought with all the means: – it was enough only to make a very small amount of hypoportanic chloride, pituitrin and some gastric lavage.
Although vomiting continued, no indwelling duodenal tube with continuous aspiration was applied; no hypertonic chloride or siphon enema, no rectal gas tube, and paranephric block with novocaine solution were recorded.
– The card does not record the food given, the temperature course and the amount of urine eliminated.
– The fact that the patient was in a serious condition with a complication, continued to go to the bathroom by him as documented in the chart, where it is said that the patient had fainted, draws your attention. This shows that in that ward the organization of work and the necessary sanitary assistance is weak.
Conclusion: Death in our opinion was caused by these factors:
1) Late arrival at the hospital, which can be considered as one of the main factors.
2) Incomplete therapy after surgery in proportion to the seriousness of the disease.
3) Poor sanitary assistance.
4) The thymo-lymphatic condition (persistence of the gland with internal secretion of the thymus) documented in the autopsy can be considered as a favorable factor, which reduces the general resistance of the organism to a certain degree./Memorie.al
