The first part
– “Under the name Abedin Beqir Nakoshiri, Myleri is the director of the Western External Section, at the Albanian Secret Intelligence Service and lives in the leadership ‘Block’ in Tirana and at the Hotel ‘Adriatiku’ in Durrës” –
Memorie.al / Around the end of 1963 and the beginning of 1964, some of the largest newspapers and magazines of West Germany, such as; “Suddetutsche Zeitung”, “Stern” etc., published a series of articles, where it was said that; Heinrich Müller, former head of the Gestapo, Obergruppenführer-SS and General of the Waffen-SS, Chief of the VI (Gestapo) service at the Reich Security Services in Berlin, and Adolf Eichmann’s direct boss, had not died and that from 1945 to 1955, he lived in Moscow, where he worked under the orders of Stalin, Beria, and Malenkov. While from 1955 to 1956, he worked in Budapest and now (1964) he is in the service of the Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha.
Even in the aforementioned German-West press, from which they were then encouraged to write newspapers and magazines of various Eastern European countries, such as “Veçerniki” of Bratislava in Czechoslovakia, etc., they also gave details about the life and work of the former head of the Hitlerite Gestapo in Albania, where, among other things, it was said that: “The former head of the Gestapo, 63 years old, has been living in Albania since 1956.
He is under the special protection of the dictator Enver Hoxha, in whose service he is today, just as he served Hitler, Himmler, Heindrich, and Stalin. Today, Albania, a friend of red China, benefits from the connections that Heinrich Mueller has with his former SS and Gestapo comrades in the outside world.
His knowledge is highly valued in Tirana. Now his name is Abedin Beqir Nakoshiri, and he has obtained Albanian citizenship. After the publication of this information, he will certainly have to change his identity. Nakoshiri Myler, is the Director of the Western External Section, at the Albanian Intelligence Service. Nakoshiri-Myler lives in the capital Tirana, especially in the largest and hermetically sealed neighborhood, called ‘Block’, where all the high functionaries of the Party of Work of Albania, members of the Albanian government and army live.
Myler lives here, in a luxury building, separated from the center of Tirana, but in a way that is a little more exposed to the rest of the population. But he wants to visit the luxury hotel “Adriatik”, where he tastes French cognac and also always likes “Hennessy” cognac. It was this same brand that was discovered and debunked a year ago, by some of his fellow countrymen, East Germans, who worked as specialists in the Port of Durrës”.
As mentioned above, the writings of the West German and wider European press had a great echo, so much so that, in front of the headquarters of the accredited Albanian embassy in Vienna, Austria, several demonstrations took place, where many protesters called on the government Albanian, to hand over Myler to the relevant West German justice authorities.
Likewise, in the aforementioned articles of the West German press, various analysts called on some heads of state, such as Walter Ulbricht of East Germany, to put pressure on the Albanian dictator, Enver Hoxha, to hand over the former head of Hitler’s Gestapo, Heinrich Muller.
Also, in addition to this, regarding the “Myler case”, many letters were addressed to the official Tirana and the senior leadership of the APS, from the Association of Veterans of the Second World War, of Germany, France, etc., which they asked the Albanian government to provide clarifications regarding the accusations made by the West German press, etc., if the former head of the Hitlerite Gestapo, lieutenant-general, Heinrich Müller, was in Albania. All this forced the official Tirana to react by giving an answer, through the Albanian Telegraphic Agency and the newspaper “Zëri i Populli”
Regarding these, etc. it is known from a series of secret archival documents (long since de-classified) located in the archives of the Albanian state (Central State Archives, Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Archives of the Ministry of the Interior), which are published every first (with the corresponding facsimiles), from Memorie.al., in several of its numbers.
ARTICLE FROM THE WEST GERMAN MAGAZINE “STERN”, IN THE YEAR 1964, ABOUT THE FORMER CHIEF OF THE GESTAPO, HAJNRIH MYLER, WHO WAS HIDING IN ALBANIA AND WORKING FOR ENVER HOXHA

GESTAPO agent, M U LL E R, lives in Albania
By Peter Stahle
Müller, head of the Gestapo, Obergruppenführer-SS and General of the Waffen-SS, Chief of the VI (Gestapo) service under the Reich security services in Berlin, and Adolf Eichmann’s direct boss, is not dead. From 1945 to 1955 Myler lived in Moscow where he worked under the orders of Stalin, Beria, and Malenkov.
From 1955 to 1956, he worked in Budapest. Now he is in the service of the Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha. These days, the German government was enlightened by the Espionage Service (Recovery) of a Western European country, on the Mueller case.
Bonn’s ministers learned what Stern magazine published today. Müller’s wife, his son, as well as his last secretary, live in Munich. They do not know that Heinrich Müller is alive. Hundreds of former Gestapo agents have been interrogated and convicted since the end of the war.
Adolf Ajhman, in order to defend himself, had claimed that Myler had given him all the orders to commit the atrocities. Heinrich Müller was the most powerful man in the security service of the Reich. He gave orders until May 1 to make arrests and deportations to concentration camps, special treatment during interrogations and executions.
Rudolf Franz Hoss, the commandant of the Auschwitz extermination camp, executed by the Poles in 1947, said in his notes, “Müller cold-bloodedly executed all measures required by the Reichführer SS, Himmler, to secure the Reich.”
In October 1963, while talking about Müller’s disappearance again, the Suddetutsche Zeitung newspaper wrote about the matter: “Adolf Eichmann’s former boss, executed in Israel, has burdened his conscience, with such a number of of terrible crimes, during the 12 years he was in the service of the III Reich, that the question of whether he lives or not, should shock millions of people.
“Stern” can answer this question. The former head of the Gestapo, 63 years old has been living in Albania since 1956. He is under the special protection of the dictator Enver Hoxha, in whose service he is today, just as he had served Hitler, Himmler, Heindrich, and Stalin.
Among Western countries, dogmatic Albania also counts communist states, such as Yugoslavia and East Germany. These are the most important areas of action for Myler at the present time. Myler is the Captain of the State Security. His position in the hierarchy of the Political Police corresponds to that of the General.
Nakoshiri-Myler lives in the capital Tirana, especially in the largest and hermetically sealed neighborhood, “Blok”, where all the high functionaries of the Party of Work of Albania, members of the Albanian government and army live. A transversal road, which has no name and separates from the boulevard “Alxpiëria e Re”, is the only entrance to this heavily guarded ghetto of functionaries.
The buildings in most of them are 2-3 stories covered with flat roofs where there are many apartments. Myler lives alone in his apartment, surrounded by other high-ranking officers of the Albanian Secret Service, but without friends. When he lived in Berlin, his secretary was also his friend.
Since his home and workplace are located in a fenced area, he hardly leaves this area. The only moment of fun in Myler’s life is that in the summer he spends his holidays together with the party and government leaders in Durrës. This city is the most important port of the country, and at the same time the largest bathing center on the Adriatic coast.
Myler lives here, in a luxury building, separated from the center of Tirana, but in a way that is a little more exposed to the rest of the population. But Heinrich Müller wants to visit the luxurious hotel “Adriatik”, where he tastes French cognac. He always likes Hennessy cognac. It was this brand that discovered it a year ago.
The Bavarian Hajnrih Myler stands out with a first among the local Albanians. He is now bald, has a yellow face, a bony forehead, and jutting jaws. But the head of the Gestapo, Müller, betrayed himself. One day when a group of East Germans were staying at the Adriatic Hotel as consultants for naval projects, Nakoshiri-Müller started speaking German after drinking a few glasses of cognac.
This happened in 1962. Among the East German engineers, there was Fritz Breitling (he has a different name, but the author cannot publish his name for security reasons). The old communist Breitling worked until the summer of 1963 in Durrës, by order of the GDR government.
He met Myler many times. After many conversations, he was assured of the identity of the head of the Gestapo, thanks to the questions asked and Mueller’s many words. SED collaborator Breitling informed the East German Secret Service (STASI) of the sensational discovery. But the STASI ordered the most absolute silence. And there were good reasons.
For many years, Myler cooperated with Ulbrihu’s secret service; so many former high functionaries of the SS, SD, and Gestapo were in decisive positions (as well as in other areas).’Stern’ could mean Müller’s most important liaison man, his name is Karl Valbach and he is the head of the STASI in Magdenburg.
But his real name is Sanitzer. He is 51 years old. At that time, former SS Hauptsturmfurher and head of the Gestapo Service in Vienna. Sanitzer, who in 1945 was appointed Sturmbanführer, has long been close to Müller, in whose service he had long headed Section A 2, as had Ajhman.
After the war, he was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Soviet zone of Austria. It disappeared in 1955 and reappeared in the Soviet zone, under a different name. Only a small group of the SED was aware of the existence and activity of Müller of the Gestapo.
Myler is 18 years and 8 months old, wanted by SS friends, Gestapo agents, rehabilitators, secret services, and journalists around the world. They had seen him in the first days of May 1945. On May 3, 1945, Myler went over with two friends to the side of the Russians, who took him into their service since he knew a lot about the secret services of the West.
Many assumptions about Mueller’s disappearance were close to the truth. Valter Schellenberg, head of the SD and Brigaddenführer SS, who died in Turin in 1952, in his memoirs talks about a returned officer, after having been a prisoner of war with the Russians, indicated that Müller had gone over to the side of the Russians in 1945.
He had seen it in Moscow in 1948. Shellenberg was not surprised by this. Dr Vilhelm Hotl, ex-Obersturmbanführer SS, and chief of the South-East Defense Service (Balkans), talks about an unconfirmed report that former Gestapo operatives have been seen in eastern Germany and trained in the Union Soviet, from Myler.
This doctor Vilhelm Hotl, who a few years ago published under the name of Walter Hagen in Austria, a book entitled; The “Secret Front”, in which he talks about the organizations, personalities and actions of the German secret service, now runs a private school in Bas Aussee.
But he also has another job. Hotl, works in the services of Wiesenthal, head of the Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna. Visentali attributes to himself the credit of having discovered Ajhman. There are reasons to assume that he cooperates closely with the Israeli secret service. That’s why Wilhelm Hotl knows a lot about his old friends, but he doesn’t get upset.
Simon Visentali stated that; Gestapo chief Mueller must be in the Eastern Bloc. One thing is certain, that before the end of the War, Muller had shown his admiration for Stalin’s methods, talking about it with his comrades. According to the information we have now, it is likely that Hajnrih Myleri had provided information during the time of Nazism, which allowed him to pass without problems in 1945, on the side of the Russians.
Despite all the bloody activity during the Third Reich, Müller was not considered by his colleagues as a true National Socialist. He joined the party in 1939 and believed in only one thing: In the power of the police, which he considered absolutely perfect (magnificent file where every German citizen should be registered).
Müller had impressed Himmler in Bavaria by studying the organization and activity of the Soviet secret police. Later, Muller admitted that he was trying to run the Gestapo on the Soviet model.
In his memoirs, Schellenberg states that Muller told him in the spring of 1943 that “I can do nothing, but I am convinced that Stalin is on the right path. He is far superior to the Western leaders and to us we had to hurry, to come to an agreement with him”. Thanks to these very special contacts, Müller was able to arrange personally with Stalin.
His Gestapo had a section tasked with monitoring the telegraphic communications of Soviet agents with central Moscow, in order to discover the orders given by Moscow to its agents, and to mislead the Soviet secret service into an elaborate mix of information correct and incorrect.
In 1944 alone, 300 Soviet agents were arrested and replaced by Gestapo men. It was Dr. Hans Kristian Sholz, Müller’s friend, who led this action. Dr. Vilhelm Hotl was very close to the truth when he made his assumptions.
He thinks that there is a good chance that Mueller, through the intermediation of loyal associates, used one of these numerous telegraph lines, of the above-mentioned section, to get in touch with the Soviets before the coup, to give you accurate information. What do we see?! Together with Hajnrih Myler, Dr. Scholz sided with the Soviets.
But he remained in Berlin, where he died shortly after, in May 1945. Heinrich Müller was sent to Moscow, where he was interrogated, and in the meantime he was camouflaged. The old German Communists, meanwhile slowly returning to Berlin from Russian exile, were to know nothing of this. Stalin himself could not allow himself to announce immediately after the end of the War that he had caught one of the 6 main criminals of the Nazi regime.
If we want to characterize Hitler, Himmler, Heinrich, Kalterbruner, Müller, and Eichmann in this way, and that he wanted to put him in his service. But shortly after the end of the war, Stalin declared that: “We have some Germans in our hands, for which the world would say its word, if it knew who they are”. Mueller was taken to the Secret Service, under the High Security Service of the State.
For the outside, he had no special responsibility, but he had a special determining function, in the reform and structure of the police and spies, near the Ministry of the Interior. Beria, the head of the Soviet Secret Police, was Mueller’s first and most important boss. After Stalin’s death in March 1953, senior officials and ministers of Moscow pounced on Beria, as he knew too much, and liquidated him.
But Muller’s activity did not stop, as Stalin’s followers did him no harm. Myler was valued in his capacity as a police expert. Müller’s next stop was Budapest. It is true that in Hungary, strict police methods had to be applied, but there were not enough perfect policemen there.
Myleri stayed in Hungary for only 15 months. The uprising began. It is true that the people were not given freedom, but the most perfect imitators of Stalin were forced to retreat. The “new pardoning wave” in Hungary eventually threw Müler to Albania, one of the last strongholds of Stalinism.
His protector became the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Mehmet Shehu, as Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, the President of this country and the right hand of the leader of the Party, Enver Hoxha. Myler had known Shehu in Hungary.Myler, was taken to the Albanian “Discovery Service”.
With the name of Captain Nakoshiri, he is under the orders of his protector. A few months ago, only some of the governments of communist countries were informed about the fact that Captain Nakoshiri is the same as the head of the Gestapo of the Hitler regime, such as Yugoslavia, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.
Especially Polish and Czech justice, they want the man who supplied “human material” to the concentration camps to be punished as soon as possible. Even the secret services of these countries have not foreseen, and do not see the possibility, to legally or illegally extract Myler from Albania.
Myler protects himself, as he used to for his insurance and for the security of border crossings. The German Democratic Republic, of Walter Ulbricht, has diplomatic relations with Albania. As a German state recognized by the East, it can request the extradition of German citizen Heinrich Müller, who is wanted for crimes.
The crimes committed by Müller only expire on May 8, 1965. Walter Ulbriht has never had a better opportunity to show if he is serious about his “anti-fascism”. Austria also has diplomatic relations with Albania. Austria may also request the extradition of Heinrich Müller. Memorie.al
