Memorie.al publishes an unknown photo of one of the most famous economists of the country, which belongs to the beginning of the ’70s, when he finished high school at the gymnasium “Sami Frashëri” in the capital, due to biographical problems, he was deprived of the right to high school and was initially forced to work as a worker in the Construction Company ’21 December ‘in Tirana, where due to great fatigue, as he watched the normative of the construction brigade marking the days of work, dreamed of one day getting rid of that hard work and becoming like her… ?!
But thanks to his will and some circumstances of the time that favored him after a few years, he was able to attend high school at the Faculty of Agrarian Economics at the Agricultural Institute of Kamza, where he graduated with honors and was appointed there as a lecturer. Where he earned the degree of Doctor of Science, and then as Head of the Department of Economics and Agrarian Policy and Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Economics at the Agricultural University of Tirana.
How did the December 21st worker do it; not only to become a ‘normist’ and a skilled economist, but after the ’90s, with the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences, awarded by ENSA, Montpellier (France), for several years, he lectured as a lecturer in some of the most famous universities in Europe, as an associate lecturer at the University of Lyon (ISARA), at CIHEAM – IAM Montpellier, University of Thessaly, Greece, University VALENCIA, Spain, IAM Bari, Italy, etc.
Memorie.al brings some unknown images of Prof. Dr. Adrian Civic, where he came out with a shovel in hand, posing with the ‘collective’ of the construction brigade in the company ’21 December ‘in Tirana in the early’ 70s, which in 2009, was awarded by French Presidency and French Academy of Sciences, title “Knight of the Golden Academic Palm”.
