Memorie.al publishes some unknown documents extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana (the fund of the former Central Committee of the ALP, and the personal fund, Enver Hoxha), where is the political diary of the former main leader of communist Albania, Enver Hoxha, which belongs to a period of four years (December 1979 – December 1983), where he kept notes and analyzed the main events that took place in Afghanistan, since December 27, 1979, when he was invaded militarily by the Soviet Union, which landed about 50,000 troops there after a previous coup against Prime Minister Hafizullah Amin, known as pro-Soviet. The complete diary of the former communist dictator of Albania with notes, comments and analysis about the invasion of Afghanistan and the events that took place in Iran, where the first reaction in the international arena came from the Americans, after President Carter, as a sign of pressure on that aggression military, canceled the contract of 17 million tons of grain that would be sold to the US to the Soviet Union. How Enver Hoxha described the Afghan guerrilla war in his diary, where he wrote, among other things: of the invading Soviet army, jumping from rock to rock, amidst snow and ice, rain and hardship, countless others, and only armed with rifles, my mind returns to our glory The National Liberation War, to the heroism and sacrifices of our brave people, patriot, and revolutionary”.

THE AFGHAN PEOPLE DO NOT SUBMIT
Afghan patriots celebrated the anniversary of the occupation of their country by the Soviet Social-Imperial Army with large demonstrations and weapons. In some regions, according to the possibilities and circumstances of the circumstances, the invaders were attacked and hit with weapons and stones. From what I read in the news agencies, these days in a central neighborhood of Kabul, there was a powerful explosion at an important Soviet facility. Many other government buildings were stoned, and Soviet soldiers used firearms against demonstrators, students, workers, and civilians. There were injured and many arrested. Afghans are a poor but proud people with a tradition of bravery.
Therefore neither the great numerical force of the invaders, nor the modern weapons, nor their savage terror can subdue it. The current actions are still small, but in the future they will grow and turn into fierce and crushing battles against the hordes of Soviet social imperialists until their complete expulsion from the land of Afghanistan. The oppression of the foreigner does not extinguish, but more strongly ignites the hatred of the peoples. We Albanians have proved this on our own backs until we achieved the final victory over the Nazi occupiers and their local servants.

TERRORIST ACTIONS OF THE SOVIET ARMY IN AFGHANISTAN
News agencies occasionally report on the brave struggle of Afghan patriots against the Soviet invading army in Afghanistan, as well as their frequent actions in rural areas, especially around Kabul. They also speak of the savage and barbaric reprisals of the Soviets against the Afghan people. Reprisal measures are harsh, especially in rural areas where there is resistance and the people support the freedom fighters.
Soviet army units strike incessantly with artillery, planes and helicopters all over indiscriminate areas. There is talk of thousands being killed among the vulnerable population. These days the invading Soviet army has also hit the city of Kandahar with artillery, including a technical school. Armored vehicles and other heavy military vehicles are now patrolling the city center. These pirate actions of the Soviets were rightly called by the news agencies one of the harshest reprisals since December 1979.

CONTINUOUS SHOCKS TO SOVIET INVASERS
Although I am very busy with the proceedings of the Party Congress, I read carefully the news of various agencies, not only to see the echo of the proceedings of our Congress, but also to follow the major international events. These days I have noticed that Afghan patriots have waged bloody clashes with the Soviet social-imperialist occupiers and have seized an entire region near the capital of the northern province of Takhar. The actions of the patriots have increased greatly even inside Kabul, where they have hit the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the terrible prison of Pul el Shark.
The Patriots control a number of roads connecting Kabul with the main provinces of the country, where there are large Soviet military concentrations, especially the one leading to the border with the Soviet Union. At an airport near Kabul, patriots shot down a Soviet helicopter. The Soviet Army and the remnants of the Afghan puppet army have launched a large-scale offensive to “liberate” Kandahar, Afghanistan’s second largest city, which has been held by patriotic forces for more than two months. Congratulations to the Afghan patriots! Their resistance and struggle will definitely be crowned with victory.

AFGHANIST WARRIORS CAUSE SERIOUS LOSSES TO SOVIET INVASERS
The armed resistance of the Afghan people against the Soviet social-imperialist occupiers is continuing successfully. Although the Soviets have created a severe censorship, from the time of the occupation until the moment when various facts are being published it is shown that, despite terror, brutal military repression, censorship, and mass bombardment by the Soviet army, the war of the Afghan people is added and expanded. A few days ago news agencies reported a bold operation in Mazar-i-Sharif in northern Afghanistan, in which 16 top Soviet military advisers were captured.
A powerful attack was reported yesterday at the large Jalalabad airport near Kabul, in which 13 Soviet helicopters were shot down. From time to time, news agencies also report powerful attacks on Soviet military headquarters and commands. The building and organization of resistance and guerrilla warfare by Afghan patriots delights us immensely. Among other facts, she confirms that the Marxist-Leninist thesis states that peoples, however small and unarmed, when it comes to defending their freedom, independence and honor, can launch powerful attacks and triumph over enemies. savage, such as the American imperialists, or the Soviet social-imperialists, who, in relation to small peoples, are much more armed and more powerful.
The people of Afghanistan have a history of heroic fighting against foreign invaders. They developed strong resistance to the influence and pressure of the Russian tsars. They fought the British colonialists for decades. They waged three wars against the British armies, teaching them a lesson that London would never forget. In 1921 they expelled the British, completely from the country and gained their national independence. This strengthens our belief that the Afghan people will triumph over the Soviet occupiers, and that they, too, will emerge from this war even more aware of the need to protect their national and social rights.

WHEN AN ENTIRE PEOPLE FIGHT NO ONE GREAT POWER CAN DEFEAT IT
Afghan patriots have apparently attacked the Soviet embassy in Kabul again, despite the extraordinary strength of its numerous defenses. In this country with such a brave and fighting people, the Soviet social-imperialists are applying the policy of “scorched earth”. But in fact the earth is lit up and is burning at their feet. They will never be safe and at peace, anywhere in Afghanistan. Reports of armed resistance and courageous actions of Afghan patriots show that when a people fight for land, land, and its rights, no great power, however heavily armed, can defeat it.
THURSDAY 3 NOVEMBER 1983
BRAVO AFGHANISTAN PATRIOTS
As reported by news agencies, in recent days Afghan patriots attacked the General Staff of the occupying Soviet army, and at the same time the embassy of the Soviet Union in Kabul. Reports also speak of bold actions in other major cities of the country and attacks on Soviet strategic positions. Fire, fire, unceasing, to the foreign invader!

AFGHANIST PEOPLE TO EXPEL SOVIET OCCUPIERS
These days we are seeing the end of four years of war, since the occupation of Afghanistan by the Soviet army. The Soviet Social-Imperialists carried out this fascist aggression in the hope that everything would soon be forgotten, and this led them to believe that the Afghan people would be deceived and subjugated just as quickly. But they were seriously mistaken. Afghanistan and its people, for no moment, agreed to the occupation of their homeland by the Soviet social-imperialist hordes.
On the contrary, they have fought and are fighting with arms in hand so effectively that the Soviet government has been forced to send constant and fresh reinforcements with more modern troops and weapons, including chemical weapons, to carry out mass bombardments by force. air and artillery, depopulating, destroying, and massacring, entire villages. They, for the Afghan nation, are using the scorched earth policy and filling prisons with brave Afghan fighters.
What have not the Soviet social-imperialists used during these four years to subjugate the Afghan people ?! But they are neither submissive nor afraid. And they will never submit or be intimidated. During 1983, the armed resistance of Afghan fighters to the Soviet occupiers became wider and larger. Strong garrisons of the invading Soviet army have been the targets of repeated attacks by Afghan patriots and not only in the mountains, in regions such as the provinces of Paktya, Kandahar and Herat, etc., but also in the country’s capital, Kabul.
In a number of cases, important facilities were attacked, such as the Soviet embassy “fortress” and the buildings where the commands of the Soviet occupiers were embedded. Generals, other senior officers, as well as thousands of soldiers were killed, many advisers were taken prisoner, military airports were attacked, causing to be destroyed, many planes, helicopters, tanks, artillery, and other means of warfare. While large quantities of weapons have been seized as trophies. The earth is burning under the feet of the Soviet occupiers who are forced to live in panic among the people who knew them not as “friends”, but as savage enemies, who must be fought to the death.
The Soviet invaders could not feel safe on Afghan soil for a moment, despite the number of soldiers and the amount of powerful weapons they had deployed there. The brave warrior people of Afghanistan, who are poor and armed mainly with weapons seized by the invaders, are setting a very good example of how foreign invaders, whoever they are, no matter how powerful and heavily armed they may be are, can and should be fought, to the end. How the ability to fight, the qualities of bravery and self-sacrifice, are acquired during the fights to defend their freedom and homeland.
Often when I read reports or watch television chronicles of the brave fighting and actions that Afghan guerrilla fighters carry out against the powerful formations or motorized columns of the invading Soviet army, jumping from rock to rock, between snow and ice, rain and hardship, countless others, and only armed with rifles, my mind returns to our glory National Liberation War, to the heroism and sacrifices of our brave, patriotic, and revolutionary people.
Of course, our struggle was much bigger, at a higher level, and much better-organized, and, above all, it was led by our Communist Party on the basis of the teachings of Marxism-Leninism. Our people, led by the Democratic Front organization, and united, no matter what the region or religion, were more aware of the ideals for which they had to fight, and fought, and of the character of the situation which they would built on the ruins of past regimes, after victory.
However, I reiterate that the war of the Afghan people is a just war, and the patriotic fighters of Afghanistan deserve to be honored and respected by all the patriotic forces of the world, to be supported so that they can escalate the war. Their liberation even further until they expel the Soviet invaders completely from their homeland. And, whether or not the Soviet Social-Imperialists and their local lackeys want it, it will certainly be realized in the not-too-distant future, and the people of Afghanistan will regain their freedom and independence. /Memorie.al
