Memorie.al/ publishes some archival documents, extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana (the fund of the former Central Committee of PPSh), where the personal archive of the former leader of communist Albania, Enver Hoxha, is also located, who in his political diary, which belongs to a long period of time, starting from May 1967, to December 1983, he has kept notes on the events of the Middle East, such as; the long Israel-Palestine conflict, the continuous wars between Israel and the Arab countries, the six-day war in 1967, where Israel defeated Egypt and the coalition of Arab countries, occupied the Golan Heights, the Yom Kippur war in 1973, where again Israel, after defeating the coalition of Arab countries (Egypt, Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon, Morocco, etc.) occupied the Sinai Peninsula, which he surrendered in 1979, blocking and closing the Suez Canal, (where Albania had vital interests, due to the aid that came from China by sea), until the civil war in Lebanon, at the beginning of the 80s, etc. What did the dictator of communist Albania, Enver Hoxha, write in his political diary where he analyzed, and what was the position of the official Tirana, about the conflict between Israel and the Arab countries, as well as the various countries that support them, such as; Soviet Union, USA, Great Britain, People’s Republic of China, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, etc.?! Was the information that Enver Hoxha had in June 1967 true, according to which, official Moscow would offer assistance to Egypt, bringing its Naval Military Fleet to the Mediterranean, in the event that official Tirana would accept that Soviet ships, to anchor in the ports of Durrës, Vlora, Shengjin, etc., or was it a paranoia of Hoxha, which caused the Albanian Army to switch to combat readiness no. 1, even mobilizing the reserve forces and those of the volunteer squads?! Regarding this, etc., we know the political diary of the former main leader of communist Albania, which will be published in several issues by Memorie.al

SOCIALIST ALBANIA HATES BLACKMAILERS
The RAB representative at the UN, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Republic, went and told our representative at this Organization that; “If you do not vote for the “Rogers Plan”, which RAB also supports, we will not consider Albania a friendly country”. We alerted our friend to tell the RAB representative: – Albania has been and will vote against the “Rogers Plan”, because this is an imperialist plan, to the detriment of the peoples of the world, to the detriment of the Arab peoples and especially to the detriment of RAB.
You should know that the People’s Republic of Albania is not afraid, it hates blackmailers of any kind and there is no force in the world to prevent it from walking on its right and sovereign path. Regardless of what you will think and how you will act, the People’s Republic of Albania and the Albanian people, has fought and will fight with all its forces against the American imperialists, Israeli Zionism and Soviet revisionists and will always be a close friend weapons of the Arab peoples and especially the Egyptian people. You should know that Gamal Abdel Nasser appreciated our positions at the UN very much and rightly.

TO SHOW OUR RIGHT ATTITUDE WITHOUT BREAKING WITH EGYPTIAN FRIENDS
I ordered my comrades to warn our delegate to the Congress of the Pan-African Trade Union Union, so that he does not quarrel with his Egyptian friends, the organizers of this congress, who do not want the Soviet revisionists to be attacked in our greeting. Whether we like their attitude or not, we must understand the Egyptians in this case, the Soviets are their “allies”. Let him not greet at all and not break friendship with the Egyptians. Everyone knows our line, but there are other forms to show it so that even the Egyptians do not have objection.

REOPENING OF THE SUEZ CANAL
The Suez Canal, based on the development of the situation in the Middle East, will apparently be opened. Of course, there will still be negotiations, negotiations, discussions in the UN and outside the UN, with Jaringu and without Jaringu, with Tito and without Tito, etc. The opening of the Suez Canal will undoubtedly be to the detriment of Egypt and to the benefit of the United States of America and Israel.
Egypt will capitulate in this action and will make successive concessions to Israel, in the framework of the benefits of American imperialism, in the Middle East. The Egyptian bourgeoisie is weak politically, economically and militarily. It is unable to attack Israel and liberate its occupied lands, let alone come to the aid of the Palestinian people to win their legitimate rights.
Propaganda and bombastic talk, El Sadat will constantly release, yes he will constantly release, to the detriment of Egypt’s sovereignty. The Soviets have put nails in Egypt’s throat and through it, they are trying to strengthen their influence and rule in the Arab countries, especially in Syria, Libya and Sudan. In the so-called federation, with these four countries, where Egypt tries to rule, the Soviet Union also tries to rule through it. The issue of the “war with Israel” is a “wonderful” asset for the Soviets, who are making strong use of this card.
The weapons that they give to Egypt and that they control well, are only weapons of defense and not attack, while Israel, not only has good preparation for war, but its weapons are weapons of offense and defense and it plays the card of threat to war, makes Egypt capitulate and the Soviets fear an armed confrontation with the Americans, or even with Israel, that brings them great political, economic and military difficulties.
Therefore, the Soviets are not for military conflicts in the Middle East, but for a deal, that’s all it does to them, why these are at the expense of Egypt. The Soviets are the main architects of the Egyptian concessions and the sacrifice of the vital interests of the Arab peoples and, especially, of the Palestinian people. They want peace at any cost in the Middle East, to consolidate the positions they have won and, avoiding complications with the Americans, to maintain and further consolidate the alliance with them.
As for the national liberation war of the Palestinians, the Soviets, like any war of liberation, absolutely want to liquidate it, disarm the Palestinian partisans and expel them from other Arab lands, bring them to Israel under the yoke of Israel and there, allegedly, to continue the partisan war, from within. Such is the theory of the Soviets and the Egyptians who are ruled by them. El Sadat speaks, but the will is Brezhnev’s. The Soviets are interested in the opening of the Canal, for economic, military and political reasons. He will make the Canal, the law of the Suez Canal Company.
But the opening of the Canal is the extension for a long time by Israel of its victories and the further consolidation of these; it is the endless development and implementation of the logs and talks. The opening of the Channel interests France, Italy, Greece, in a word, all the capitalist countries of Europe; this interests them economically, but also militarily, why they have hope and it may be a secret clause of the American-Soviets, that the Mediterranean will be relieved by the Soviet Fleet.
Therefore, these countries put pressure on the United States of America to open the Suez Canal, which they also want very much. Of course, they care that the Soviet Fleet is dispersed in the seas and oceans and that a good part of the Black Sea Fleet is not concentrated in the Mediterranean, around the coast of Africa. The United States of America is interested in this fleet going out into the Indian Ocean and the Pacific, away from the supply and repair bases and as close as possible to China, to disturb this and make it easier for the American-British fleet to strike in case the conflict.
But, in the current conjunctures, the existence of the Soviet fleet in the Mediterranean is a threat to the members of NATO, especially to all those countries that wet the Mediterranean. So, the United States of America uses this situation as a strong blackmail tool against them, to keep them bound and under its leadership. So, the opening of the Suez Canal, property of Egypt, has become a chess piece, which it does not move in its own interest, but is moved, by the Soviets and the Americans, in their immediate and prospective interest.
Of course, the United States of America, in addition to what I said above, aims, in the first place, to strengthen its ruling positions in the Middle East, secure oil and have the way open to expand in Africa. American objectives are to seriously undermine, if not completely eliminate, the positions won by the Soviets in Africa and the Middle East. Therefore, the smile of the United States of America, towards the RAB, now, in the development of these efforts and, even more, later, will increase.
The United States uses Israel as a trigger, which it fires when it wants, without directly burning its hands, and Israel has been trained, organized for war, educated with such an aggressive fascist spirit that it cannot live outside the rules of a lifetime bandit. Israel has found both suitable employers and partners. Of course, in these situations, when the Middle East is ruled by these two imperialist superpowers, which have penetrated deeply into the life and direction of various Arab countries, it is difficult for the United States, Israel and the Soviet Union to face a coalition of Arab peoples, to face them and disrupt their plans.
The Egyptian people and all the Arab peoples are being shamelessly betrayed by the ruling cliques who have acquired a special skill to betray their peoples, change their masters like they change their shirts and show themselves as “rabid nationalists”, but when it comes the job is to show this, this is nothing but a camouflage of the local bourgeois agency, which has sold and sells the interests of the homeland and the people, at every moment. The Arab peoples must fight more for their freedom, which they have lost, which in fact they do not have, despite the false appearances.
The Arab peoples must organize the war against the Soviet allies and those who brought them to their countries and sold their homeland and soul. All this just war, which secures a truly and sovereign future for them, can only be achieved by arms, fighting against the United States of America, Israel and all their allies, open and secret. Victory will not come without great sacrifices and other losses and defeats. But the armed struggle and the defeats will also bring the great and final victory, the victory of the people and not that of the cliques.
Now the cliques want to extend their lives, with compromises with the enemies of the people. These internal cliques are enemies of the peoples; they are, therefore, allies of one or the other external enemy of the peoples. Only the just people’s war exposes their corruption, it brings the people and its loyal people into power and direction, the war creates the victorious fighting organization, the war creates the true party of the communists, the Marxist-Leninist party, without which there is no one can go to the complete victory of the proletarian revolution, of socialism and of the people. On this road, the Arab peoples must walk and will walk.

CRISIS IN EGYPT
Anwar al-Sadati eliminated Ali Sabrina, an important personality behind him, under the pretext of participating in a conspiracy to take power and “put the Egyptian people under the yoke”. This happened when Rogers, the American Secretary of State, was on a trip to visit many countries in the Middle East, especially Egypt and Israel. It was clear that Rogers came to Egypt to find the word with Israel and with Sadat, for a compromise to resolve the differences. It was, therefore, something new.
The United States of America, friends of Israel, were directly brokering the compromise with the Egyptians, officially eliminating the Soviet Union from these treaties. For the Soviet Union, this was a political defeat, it was no longer the main partner, maneuvering with the United States of America, on behalf of Egypt, and both with the United States of America, maneuvering in the Middle East for Egypt, for the Palestinians and for other Arab peoples. El Sadat emphasized this political slap against his “ally”, the Soviet Union, by sensationally eliminating Ali Sabrina, the man of the Soviets.
Anwar el Sadati acted like Khrushchev who eliminated Molotov, just when Tito was on his way to Moscow. Khrushchev said with this action to Tito, that; “I am opening the way of friendship and alliance, eliminating the Stalinist Molotov; later I will clear them all, calling them also anti-party”. Even Sadat told Rogers; “I am clearing the path of friendship and alliance, by removing the pro-Soviet Ali Sabri; later I will clean the others as well”.
In fact, tonight it was announced from Cairo, that six ministers, among whom the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Defense, etc., resigned and, together with them, left the leadership of the party, which is in power, and three other personalities. All these, there is no doubt, are pro-Soviet and friends of Ali Sabri. So here lies the crisis. El Sadati will speak on the 14th, in the evening. Let’s see what he means, but even what he means will not be true. The matter boils, inside and out. Neither Sadat’s group is for neither war nor A1i Sabriu.
But Sadat, it seems, is turning the tables on the Soviets, who are trying to give him a leg up. So far, Sadat has won.
Let’s see what undermining and plotting force the Soviets have inside and what help and support Washington and Israel will give to El Sadat. The Soviets are in a difficult position, because they are losing their people in Egypt, whom it is difficult to openly defend and enter into conflict with the official leadership of Egypt, and this too, maneuvering not to accuse openly, will peel off all their supporters.
For the Soviet Union to interfere in the open and secret negotiations that Sadat is conducting with Washington and with Tel-Aviv, it cannot and cannot prevent the compromise agreements that can be reached without it. The Soviet revisionists are playing the last card, desperate not to lose the stolen political, economic and military positions in the Middle East and in Egypt, which the United States of America is robbing.
We will see how the situations will develop, but it is clear that American imperialism will make every effort, before it is too late, to eliminate the Soviet Union from the Middle East and Africa, not to let it continue to, under the guise of the “protector” of the Arab peoples, to strengthen the political, economic, colonialist and military positions, especially in Egypt, in Syria, in the Mediterranean in general.
The Arab peoples do not have any special sympathy for both the Soviet revisionists and the American imperialists, they even hate them. And the Arab cliques that are in power are sold to whoever gives them the most. The United States of America, of course, in order to achieve its goal, calculates to give large loans to Egypt. Wait for Tito to enter the movement, if he has not entered before. Israel is also interested, before it is too late, to secure its borders internationally, to make some small concessions here and there, to “promise” other concessions, in addition to the separation of Egypt from the Soviets, the liquidation in its favor , of the Palestinian problem, etc.
The Americans will try to leave the Soviet fleet in the Mediterranean like a fish out of water, expelling it from the current bases where it is anchored today in Egypt and Syria. The issue of NATO and the Mediterranean basin are important for American strategy. There are matches with the Soviets here. Any political action of any nature is very sensitive to both imperialist and social-imperialist superpowers, both the United States of America and the Soviet Union, especially these last weeks in Europe.

OUR RIGHTEOUS ATTITUDE HAS AN INFLUENCE ON THE ARAB PEOPLE
They reported to me about the work done by our youth delegation at the Syrian youth congress. The speech of this delegation, which also spoke against the Soviet revisionists (who also had their own delegation in the hall), was received with great enthusiasm and cheered on their feet. Our Albania, with its righteous and heroic attitudes, has a great influence on the Arab peoples. Let’s temper this friendship further!
DURRES, WEDNESDAY JULY 19, 1972
A HEAVY SLAP FOR SOVIET SOCIAL-IMPERIALISM
Last night, Egyptian President Sadat gave an “important” speech, where he pointed out the conflict between Moscow and Cairo. He asked the Soviets for offensive weapons “to declare war on Israel” and the Soviets, in order to keep Egypt captive and fully exploited from every point of view, naturally refused. Then Sadat, is blackmailing them politically, demands the departure of the Soviet advisers from Egypt (and they are not few, 20,000 people) by July 27.
This is a heavy blow to Soviet social-imperialism, which destroys their plans; it is an event of great importance. Let’s see what the Soviets will do, what maneuvers they will play to keep their feet out of Egypt, why they were given their hands, it will be difficult for them to return quickly. Then with their expulsion, the roots and demagoguery of “protecting the Arab peoples” ends, and their fleet in the Mediterranean remain like a fish out of water. We will see on the other hand, how determined Sadat is to stick to the decision he made.
The fact is that the expulsion of the Soviets is a victory for the Egyptians, despite the fact that they need a long time to liberate the lands occupied by Israel. But with the Soviets inside, they would never liberate these lands, not only that, but they would also lose the country’s independence. Our fair and determined policy has helped the Arab peoples to preserve their freedom, which the United States of America must also preserve. Memorie.al
