He especially told me that; Goni, I’m afraid you’re in a hurry. From the injustices they did to my father, my blood rushed to my head and I wanted to take the machine gun in my trunk and not allow them to take my father, but my father told me: Not like that Agron, because I don’t put a rifle against the Founder of the Party”.
This is stated, among other things, in a highly secret State Security document dated March 3, 1987, where the entire conversation of Kadri Hazbi’s second son, Agron, with one of his workmates in Kurbnesh is revealed. of the district of Mirdita, where they were both interned and all that conversation between them, was then sent to Ramiz Ali.
As we will see from the document in question, which is part of a voluminous file that was extracted from the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, (now part of the Authority for the Information of Files of the former State Security), in charge of to the former Minister of the Interior, Kadri Hazbiu and his family, in addition to Agron Hazbiu’s conversations with his friend (A.M.), who has declared everything in detail to the Department of Internal Affairs of the district of Mirdita, part of the voluminous file, are also many reports and secret information with denunciations and interceptions against the Hazbiu family, which begin in October 1982, and end at the beginning of 1991.
The struggle of Enver’s closest collaborators in the high leadership of the party and the state at that time, among others, is also known from this archival document that we are publishing today in the first part of this dossier (which will last in ten issues ), where Agron Hazbiu, or as he is otherwise known as Agron Dautaj, (former football player of the “Dinamo” team, has confirmed to his close friends, A.M., regarding the broken engagement between his brother, Petr Hazbiu (graduated as an architect) and Enver’s daughter (also an architect), since the beginning of the 70s, which came after the intervention of Ramiz Ali and Nexhmije Hoxha.
And only 15 months later, Agron Hazbiu was found dead in the copper mine in Kurbnesh, where according to the official version, he had committed suicide by tying dynamite to his body. But was it really a suicide, or did the State Security carry out Ramiz Ali’s order (written in his own hand: “…To act”), being afraid of the son of Kadri Hazbiu, who except once in 1982, he wanted to grab the machine gun, in defense of his father, but even in exile, in a moment of anger, he even expressed himself about throwing dynamite at someone…!
Regarding this and others, we will be familiar with a number of archival documents extracted from the voluminous file in charge of former Interior Minister Kadri Hazbiu and his family, which will be published by Memorie.al.

COMPLICATED BIOGRAPHICAL CERTIFICATE
It has been requested to authenticate Kadri Hazbiu, his biography and that of his family. They have been certified: Kadri Hazbiu, the son of Hazbiu and Xhevo, born in the village of Mavrovë in the district of Vlora, in 1922, of Albanian nationality and citizenship, of rich peasant origin, highly educated, married, arrested, expelled from the Party, former Minister of People’s Defense, living in district no. 1, street “Jul Variboba” no. 22. The mentioned during the anti-popular regime of Zog finished primary education, and continued secondary education, at the Trade School of Vlora, which he finished during the occupation.
In 1942, he is associated with the National Liberation Movement and works in the field to collect weapons for the Movement. In November 1943, he became a partisan, Commissar of the Second Battalion in the Fifth Brigade, where he remained until the complete liberation of the country. After liberation, he was an officer in the Internal Affairs bodies with the position of Chief of Army Security, from 1951 to 1980, Deputy Minister and then Minister of Internal Affairs, from 1980 to 1982, Minister of People’s Defense, when the Political Bureau and the Central Committee of the ALP dismissed him from his duties for a marked decrease in vigilance in the direction of the hostile activity of all groups.
Plenum of K.Q. of the ALP, expelled him from the Party and he is currently arrested as an enemy of the people and the Party. His personality is characterized by the fact that during Zog’s time, he did not have any political activity, during the occupation he helped the war. After the liberation, he did not maintain a good attitude, even though he became a member of the Political Bureau and a minister, after he hid from the Party the hostile activity of the groups that the Party discovered. He seriously violated the Party line in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of People’s Defense, and for this he was arrested.
His wife, Hedije Sali Shehaj, born in the village of Malas, in 1920, comes from a rich peasant family, has always been a housewife, has gone abroad several times for treatment. His son Petriti, born in 1954, with a higher education, is an architect engineer at the Institute of Design No. 1, is ambitious, and married to Dhurata Iljaz Fishta, born in Tirana, in 1956, is a teacher at the Artistic High School. Jordan Misja”, their daughter Elvana is a minor.
The other son, Agroni, graduated from the higher education of Sports Mastery, works as a physical education teacher at the Construction Technical College, was engaged to Adelina S….., who works in the Vth Branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with which has not been celebrated. He abandoned this when Kadri Hazbiu was dismissed from office. His daughter Eleni, former member of the Party, expelled from the Party, with higher education, works as a principal in the high school “Partizani”, is married to Medin Mehmet Çollaku, from Pogradeci, former A.P., was expelled from the Committee for Relations with the External World, whose brother Dashamir Çollaku, is an officer in the Second Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The other daughter, Mimoza, graduated from higher education and works as a French language teacher at the “7 November” Polytechnic, married to Agron Hajdar Aranitas, whose father is A.P., and in retirement, Agron’s brother, Vladimiri, works in Cars – Import. His father, Hazbi Çeno Dautaj, from Mavrova, was a rich peasant, and was involved in the administration of his wealth, he died at the time of Zog. His mother, Xhevo Dautaj, is from the village of Shkozë in Vlora, comes from a family of rich peasants, was a housewife, and died in 1968. His brother, Hasan Hazbi Dautaj, born in 1915, during the occupation was the chairman of the Council, has been a partisan.
After the liberation, he worked in trade, in Vlora and Tirana, head of the Staff Branch in the Rruga-Ura enterprise, until he retired, he is A.P. and secretary of the organization. Hasan’s children, Myfiti was an attache-trader in Sweden, a week ago he returned and transferred to Puka. Arbeni continues the high school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Shqiponja, a teacher at the “Ylli i Kuq” school, married to Fatos Myfit Avdiun, from Libohova, who is an organization secretary and economist at the Meat Factory. My grandfather, Sali Shehu from the village of Malas in Tepelena, was a rich peasant and died many years ago. His brothers-in-law (wife’s brothers) Latifi was A.P., and worked as a diplomat in our embassies abroad, today he is dead, he has a son Besnik Shehun, A.P. and Operative Worker in the Second Branch of the Ministry of the Interior.
Daughter Xhina, married to Miço Kiço Kasapin, works at the Metallurgical Combine “Celiku i Partisë” in Elbasan, Vali, married to Kudret Çollaku, an officer and engineer in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (genius) and Vera, who works as an editor at the Radio Foreign, married to Zyhri Bajrami, lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. My brother-in-law, Capllan Shehu, was an officer and head of the Lushnje Internal Branch, recently he was dismissed and released, living in Lushnje. Brother-in-law Ivziu, used to be a school custodian in Tepelena, has died. He has a son, Nevzatin, a driver at the Tepelena Court. One of his daughters is married to Njazi Milorin, a management officer in the 8th Branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the girl’s name is Shaqe and she works at the Central Polyclinic.
He has brothers-in-law (brothers with his wife Hedije’s father) in Elbasan and Berat, who have officer children. His sister-in-law, his wife’s sister, Stoli Çelmeta, is married to Xhevdet Çelmeta, who works in Internal Trade, while Stolia works in the Customs Directorate. The other sister-in-law, Feto Minxolli, married in Delvina to Daut Minxolli, with a bad political attitude, has sons Rexhepin, A.P. and works as an Operative Worker in the Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tirana, whose wife works in the Special Polyclinic, Haliti, former Director of the Mines Inspection-Rescue Institute, who has been dismissed due to weakness and defects, and Syri Minxolli, driver in the Guard. All of them have had close relations with Kadri Hazbi’s family, in and out.
Kadri Hazbiu has second cousins (fathers, sons of uncles): Nusret Dautaj, former Director of the Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tirana, died a year ago, was A.P., Burhan Dautaj (Nusret’s brother) A.P., former deputy director of Institute of Cultural Monuments, Pirro Dautaj (Nusret’s brother), worked in the General Prosecutor’s Office, for a while he was the director of the Directorate of Investigation in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was recently released, and currently works in the General Prosecutor’s Office.
Ivzi Dautaj, an officer in the Ministry of People’s Defense, is AP, married to the granddaughter of the enemy Mehmet Shehu, Vilson Zotaj, a driver in the Industrial Park and has a bad political composition, (he was twice convicted of theft), Minushe Dautaj (Nusreti’s sister) pensioner, A.P., secretary of the basic organization of pensioners, married to Namik Dautajn, storekeeper in the Executive Committee of the district, they live in neighborhood no. 8 in Tirana. Abdulla Dautaj, director of the Artillery Factory, officer and A.P., Rustem Dautaj, pensioner in Vlora, Qani Dautaj, lives in Kote of Vlora.
Hedije Hazbiu has first cousins (sons of uncles) Gjylani Shehu, ambassador to Turkey, one of his daughters is married to Gëzim Gogo Nushin, Rebani Shehu, A.P. and party secretary, is a company director in Kavajë, his son Sokol Shehu, is an Operative Worker in the DPB of Tirana, Arbeni, an engineer in the Fishing company in Durrës, and the daughter married to Florian Kolaneci, an officer in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Xhemal Shehu, former officer in the Ministry of People’s Defense, released with the coup group of Beqir Balluku, residing in Kruja, whose daughter is married to the doctor, Titi Tampuri. Kadri Hazbiu had close ties with all these cousins, his own and his wife’s. Apart from these, he has other cousins and his wife who work in important sectors of the Party and the Government, all of them have had strong support from Kadri Hazbiu. There is also a second cousin, Melaize Xhaferraj, who works in the IV Branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Note: Njazi Milori, who we mentioned above, has a brother Maksim Milori, an officer in the Second Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the first group, the other brother Luan Milori works at Rinas (airport) and his mother-in-law is Yugoslav. His family is characterized by the fact that in the anti-popular regime of Zog, he was rich and he did this at the expense of the peasants, during the occupation they helped the National Liberation War, and after the liberation he seriously damaged the political line of the Party, in the bodies of Internal Affairs, hiding from the Party the hostile activity of the discovered groups, as well as his own activity.

The source announces that after the communication he gave you about the dismissal of Kadri Hazbiu, from all functions as an enemy, some of the sportsmen of the Sports Club “Dinamo” who had good relations with Agron Dautaj (Hazbiu) went to meet him in the hospital. The source informs that, today on 21.10.1982, in the morning he talked with the shoemaker of the Shkëlqim Skifterin Club. During the conversation, he told her that; I was in the Military Hospital where Agron Dautaj was hospitalized, first of all, with Arben Vila. At the hospital, Agroni told you that his father was dismissed from the functions he had, and when he went home, after they had communicated the decision, the father gathered those in the house and said: “The party dismissed me from every function I had, but you should know that I am not an enemy, nor immoral, and I have not abused my official position.”
The source asked Shkëlqim, how did you hear about it, and who told Agron?! He replied that it was Petriti who told him these things. The source asked him, what does Agroni say, and Shkëlqimi, in the conversation with him, told the source that Agroni had expressed: “I will work wherever he is, to wash away my father’s mistakes, because our father is not our enemy and for us it’s very good”. On Saturday, when Agroni went home, he found his family crying, he said: “Why are you crying, we will work where they assign us”.
And Petriti had said to Agron: “Gone, how did we become like this”?!
