Of course, the news given in those years was hopeful, shocking, among other things, about this new, shocking slogan I would say, it impressed me a lot, I say that for my conditions and condition, this new slogan made me more more curious than any other news of those years, about his special side.

More than the news itself about the fall of the Berlin Wall, and this, not because the Berlin Wall was younger than the famous slogan written at the end of the Communist Manifesto; nor because the Berlin Wall, this symbol of oppression, of dictatorship, of crime, of lies and dictatorial deceit, has nothing to do with the union of the proletariat, with the goals of this union, leaving aside their commonality, ideology.
Not even though some 143 years after Marx and Engels, the newspaper “Voice of the People”, the central organ of the APS, still carries the same slogan on its front, as throughout its existence, because in the framework of continuity and renewal, this organ, one fine morning, will come out with the same name, but without the rallying cry, known as the consecration of the world proletariat.
Well, the impression is greater, because it strengthened my conviction that not only in other countries, but also in us, the request to the people to forgive us was imperative: “Albanians of all vices forgive us!” Wouldn’t this new appeal sound very noble!
And forgive us, not only the initiators of the creation of the Communist Party of Albania, who are still alive from the “200 Petrites”, heartbroken, crippled, marginalized and imprisoned (except for those few collaborators in the construction of the new socialist Albania, according to the lessons of the “enlightened architect” Enver Hoxha, but all the other disappointed ones).
I, of course, like many of my friends, have silently asked for forgiveness, in my heart that repeats like its beats every time I remember the serious consequences of that time, which Enver Hoxha proudly called “When the foundations were laid of New Albania” and what should be called: when the contours of the new precipice were revealed, when we, with the sincerity of the time, age and open heart, were convinced that we were working and fighting for freedom, democracy, well-being and, as we said then : for bread, peace and freedom.
The call “Proletarians of all countries, forgive us!” added and is adding to the ranks of the disappointed. Thousands of communists and party members are handing in the Party’s tesserae today, many others, workers, peasants, intellectuals no longer believe in the lying ideology of the ALP, in its unscrupulous demagoguery, in the deceptions and lies of Enver Hoxha and his accomplices. The campaign for the renewal of the Party of Labor of Albania, started before its 10th Congress, aimed to stop its internal bleeding, its depravity, but to no avail.
The preparation or rather the processing of the internal and external opinion for the orientation of the 10th Congress of the ALP, regarding the request for forgiveness to the people for the “enlightened” deeds (Interview of Spiro Dede), aimed to save what could be saved from what has already gone downhill. It cannot be taken as a pure effort, and accepted as an apology, the recognition to that extent of flaws, mistakes, in addition to the so-called critical attitude towards the figure of Enver Hoxha. No! No way, no!
On the contrary, we are simply dealing with a fraud here. With the attempt to continue the Enverist ALP, without Enver Hoxha, but with the General Secretary of the ALP, Ramiz Alina. No one better than the 10th Congress of the ALP could address the people and the party for forgiveness, for forgiveness, for falling on one’s knees like a child in front of its mother.
Only he had all the opportunities and full attributes, he even had at his disposal the archive of the Central Committee of the NPSH and the ALP, even that part that has not disappeared or has not been processed (as it is said) to directly attack the destructive work 47 years of the Stalinist-Enverian dictatorial system, to determine the role of the figure of Enver Hoxha in this half century of the rule of his empire and his lackeys: lies, deception, fear, terror, oppression, crime, violence, the disappearance of people and the debate and the right of speech and the free press, the systematic destruction of the human personality and the disfigurement of society, etc.
But let’s not be misunderstood, none of the Albanians should and is not for a collective responsibility with the dictator Enver Hoxha, as his successors may conceive or wish. Only the former General Secretary of the Labor Party of Albania, Ramiz Alija, who is usually vacillating on many issues, seems to be vacillating again, looking for a way out without getting wet and remembers that he is finding it, leaving the determination of the figure of Enver Hoxha, in the hands of history. I rightly ask: which story?
Of that history that the people make with their work, courage and blood, or of the history that leaders, pseudo-leaders, leaders, pseudo-leaders, dictators, micro-dictators, dictators, who should be called, without hesitation, by their name, try to make. Therefore, the people, who suffered, are suffering and will continue to suffer for some time from the evil deeds of Enver Hoxha, still have many memories alive that they are not letting history excavate and interpret, on the contrary, by any means denounces the square, for days in the squares.
How many memories do we have that we have known Enver Hoxha more or less closely, when his wife and accomplice, Nexhmija, did not know him yet. But will we be able to, once and for all, give them the grade they deserve, the deserved place in history, make them known only truthfully, without influences, frictions, intimidation and public impositions by ordinary people who they will appear and be sold to us as martyrs of the dictatorship, as pure “democrats”, as the people most pleading for the truth. I believe not.
It will take us a long time to wait for this moment. Because there are no authorities, personalities, institutions, there is no desire and courage to carry out this extremely difficult action. Anyway, I will try to truthfully mention many facts about what has been written about in the past and prove once again with great sincerity that Enver Hoxha is what is his face and insidious character”.
How did Enver Hoxha rise to the head of the Albanian communists?
“I have known Enver Hoxha since Korçë, when he taught at the French Lyceum with reduced hours, as an external lecturer. I knew him even before the war, when he was in Korça District. I was present at his pathological servility towards Svetozar Vukmanovic Tempo in Kucaka, as well as towards Miladin Popovic and Dusan Mugosha in Kucaka and Vithkuq.
I saw it at the First Country Conference of the Albanian Communist Party, in Labinot, when despite the great insistence of Miladin Popovic, to elect Enver Hoxha as General Secretary, the delegates of the Conference contested Miladin’s proposal for his election as Secretary General and requested that Koçi Xoxja be elected in his place, although he was not present, because he was imprisoned in the New Prison in Tirana, where he was sentenced to death and from where he and 27 other prisoners, escaped from the underground tunnel opened by the political prisoners themselves, directed by Koçi Xoxja.
At this time, the “great patriot” Enver Hoxha, who did not have any notable personal combat activity, which in wartime was very important, proposed his friend Josif Broz Tito, as General Secretary of the NPSH, leave all the delegates speechless with his wisdom and at the same time with his servility. Doesn’t this fact speak for the fact that Enver Hoxha had no sense of patriotism?
I have seen him in Panarit, in the winter of 1943-1944, when his feathers had fallen and his characteristic self-satisfaction had risen, when the operational group of the General Staff, not only without his direction, escaped untouched by the great annihilating German encirclement of the Winter Enemy Operation, when he returned disgraced from the “Triumphator of Martanesh” incursion and where, mainly due to his fault, the General Staff of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation Army severed all ties with the main forces of the army and barely crossed the river Shkumbin.
This, at a time when in the area of Martanesh, Shpirag, Arbana, Saint-Gjergji and Peza, there were two attacking brigades, the Elbasan Group and the Peza Group, and he could not connect with them and with their help ensure the transition to South of the country, but the main force of the General Staff was almost destroyed.
I had the great fortune to see him at the Second Plenum of the Central Committee of the NPSH of Berat when the political report prepared by Sejfulla Maleshova made his back softer than his stomach, but no one had the intention of isolating Enver Hoxha, on the contrary, he after Berat, with the approval of the Central Committee of the NPSH, was declared Prime Minister, Colonel-General, Supreme Commander, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the NPSH, and many other offices. Please don’t look at what a chameleon Enver Hoxha is, in almost all cases, when he prepares to set traps or macabre conspiracies without sparing anyone.
The proposal in the 8th Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the KPSH, that Tito be recognized as the First Secretary
I, even to this day, cannot clearly conceive in my logic the political, ideological, patriotic, party and moral attitude of Enver Hoxha, as well as the newly presented proposal by him in the 8th Plenary of the Central Committee of the NPSH -, that we had to appoint Comrade Josif Broz Tito as General Secretary of the K.Q. of the Albanian Communist Party, while him (Enver Hoxhën), as his deputy in Albania! The greatest stupidity and meanness I have never heard from the mouth of any Albanian politician, of any political spectrum!
This is written, as the people say, in black on white, in the minutes of the meeting of the Plenum of the Central Committee of the NPSH, if my memory has not left me, I kept it personally, unless have disappeared or falsified. I want to emphasize and ask on this occasion, about the basic documents of the history of the NPSH, the ALP, the History of Albania, where are the documents such as: the minutes of the Founding Meeting of the NPSH? You mean, the Italian secret police seized it during a “blitz” operation. Nice!
But why was it not searched in the Italian archives? Where are the original materials of the First Country Conference, where the election of Enver Hoxha as General Secretary is contested and Koçi Xoxe is proposed for this position? Why aren’t their originals published or, to hide the traces of the weak work of Enver Hoxha, Miladin and Dushan? Where is? Why is it not found after so many years, the political report held by Sejfulla Maleshova in the Second Plenum of the K.Q. of the PKSH of Berat?
Or maybe this is the most analytical report on the negative activity, faults and mistakes in the political line of Enver Hoxha during the War? Where are the materials of the 8th Plenum of the Central Committee of the NPSH? Why they are not included in the complete works of Enver Hoxha, why have they been manipulated to such an extent?! Maybe to hide the traces of his servility, evocative croup?! Other examples of this nature, I believe there is no need to list others because there are dozens.
The “suicide” of Nako Spiru and the role of Hoxha
One of the very serious problems that have remained shrouded in the smoke of political speculation is the murder, suicide or physical elimination of our wonderful friend, Nako Spiru. Who killed Nako Spiru? The veil of fog continues to cover this very important issue. I don’t know for sure if until today, jurisprudence, that is, the science of justice, has been able to define its theory separately, regarding murder and forced suicide. Of course he could.
If he correctly determined the ratio or measure of unity or equalization between murders “proprement dite” (said purely) as the French say and murder by forced suicide!? Nako Spiru killed himself because they forced him; this is already well known and clearly proven, as one and one make two. So Nakon was forced by the leadership of the Party, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the NPSH (as it functioned at that time, full and not, with planned and announced meetings or not, with a fixed agenda or random).
Is it the case here to close the issue, defining only collective responsibility, or is there a place to bring out personal responsibility alongside it? I say yes. There is room. Personal responsibility should be sought only from the person Enver Hoxha, because he was the General Secretary of the Party, the indisputable Prime Minister, and his subsequent justifications for the role of Koçi Xoxes in the direction of the Party’s affairs do not hold water.
The cold logic of things says: Nako’s case, the charges against him are purely economic. What is Koçi Xoxe doing here?! If the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the NPSH did not play its role, as claimed, again the fault is not Koçi Xoxes, but it is his, Enver Hoxha’s, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the NPSH.
General Secretary of the KC of the NPSH, it does not mean inviolability, it means responsibility, it means responsibility at the highest level. His responsibility emerges even judging on the very presentation of the case by him personally, reasoning on the basis of the case prepared by his own hand.
Also, from this article, there is also a special evaluation or impression of mine, which has to do with the methods of exerting pressure, with the coordination of measures since the refusal to grant the deadline requested by Nako Spiru himself for examining the case of him until the issuing of the order for the observation of Nako by the special bodies of the State Security.
How can the arrival of Enver Hoxha himself, together with Koçi Xoxen, are explained in the hospital room, where intensive efforts were made to treat and save him. According to Enver Hoxha’s order, I stayed in the hospital until the end of the unsuccessful treatment and after the death of Nako Spiru, I checked his pockets, where I found only the Party tessa, a letter of notification and a handkerchief, which I handed over to Enver Hoxha. So, this is Enver Hoxha.
He forces you to commit suicide and then orders the suicide to be checked, and then come together, men, to mourn him. Then we dig it up and spit it out. Then let’s rebury him and so on. I insist, but Koçi Xoxja did these burials and exhumations, are these work? What about the tenfold repression against the communists and the broad mass of cadres after the shooting of Koçi Xoxes, whose work is they? Aren’t they Enver Hoxha with his friends…?! Memorie.al
