Memorie.al publishes some archival documents extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana (Fund of the former Central Committee of PPSh), which belong to the year 1971, where there is a letter of the writer Kapllan Resuli originally from Ulqin, sent from Tirana prison (Ward 313), where he was arrested, to the address of the first secretary of the Central Committee of the APS, Enver Hoxha, as well as the correspondence of Enver Hoxha’s cabinet with the secretary of the Central Committee of the APS , Hysni Kapo (who was covering the organs of the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat” on the party road) and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Kadri Hazbiu, regarding the letter sent by Kapllan Resuli, who, after giving him a brief biography of his life, begged the main leader of communist Albania to look into his problem, since he was innocent and the UDB, the Yugoslavs, probably had a hand in his arrest and conviction. Regarding this, in his letter, among others, the Kosovar immigrant, Kapllan Resuli, writes: “The issue is not waiting for me. Therefore, I am turning to you to take me under your personal protection, cancel the judicial process and appoint a commission to review my case. Yes, I turn to you with this prayer and with the conviction that in the treatment that is my father, in the intrigue that is currently against me, the UDB may have a hand, but not the Albanian Labor Party. Once again, I repeat that I am innocent and that for this reason; I am able to present indisputable evidence. I wish to continue my work as a writer in the bosom of the Albanian nation and under the banner of the Labor Party of Albania”.
The follow-up letter of the PPS Central Committee apparatus, sent to Hysni Kapo, with a summary of the problems raised by Kapllan Resuli, in the letter sent to Enver Hoxha
Comrade Hysni
Ward 313 Tirana
He asks to be taken under the protection of comrade Enver and to be dismissed from the accusations that have been brought against him. He is arrested and charged to appear in court. He calls both the arrest and the accusation unjust and baseless. He says that he has not committed any crime and that what are attributed to him are contrived intrigues.
He asks that a commission be appointed to re-examine his case and I will come out as he thinks. He says that his punishment will have consequences for the Albanian state and especially for the Kosovo issue. He thinks that the UDB will have a hand in this tricky matter.
(Note by Hysni Kapo)
Comrade Enver does not deal with prisoners’ issues.
The letter should be given to friend Kadri to see and remain in the archives without giving an answer. Since his case is in the hands of the justice bodies and they will follow them until the end to clarify the truth.

Prayer
The undersigned, Kapllan Resulli, Kosovar writer from Ulcinj, escaped from Yugoslavia to R.P. of Albania in 1960, as a political immigrant, married with two small children who have now become orphans because I am arrested in prison No. 313 of Tirana, I submit this prayer as follows:
The day before yesterday the investigator handed me the indictment and thus it became clear to me that the authorities want to take me to court.
I am innocent, because even those mistakes that I may have, do not have the character of any hostile activity, but are the result of an unfair treatment that I have suffered since the day of my arrival in the Republic of Poland. of Albania, are the result of constant provocations, of a monstrous intrigue that is against me and of open incitements that have been given to me to make even the smallest mistakes, a fault that I fortunately do not have, trust me The Party also hoped that one day the Party will stop treating me and take me under its protection.
The case is not waiting for me.
Once again, I am repeating that I am innocent and that for this reason I am able to present indisputable evidence.
I wish to continue my work as a writer in the bosom of the Albanian nation and under the banner of the Labor Party of Albania.
Your care for me will help me overcome this, and the undeserved punishment that is being prepared for me after all those sufferings, sacrifices and the contribution I gave to the nation of the Albanian homeland, the Labor Party of Albania, will destroy the family and it will take me by the neck, not only me, but also those two children of mine, Arbeni and Arbana.
On the other hand, the undeserved punishment will have harmful consequences for the Albanian nation and homeland, as well as for the Party, and especially for the issue of Kosovo. I don’t want this, that’s why I’m addressing you with this prayer.
With hope and respect
Tirana, on 6.V.1971
