ON THE EFFORTS OF REVISIONING COUNTRIES TO IMPROVE RELATIONS WITH THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA
- In continuation of their course for the rapprochement and normalization of relations, recently, the Soviet leadership seems to have oriented and demanded from all revisionist countries, to make efforts and use every opportunity to develop economic and political relations. , and cultural with the People’s Republic of Albania.
In addition to the “Favorable” campaign, according to the tone given by the Soviet press, all countries have been instructed that, despite the difficulties that may be encountered in this process, they must be very close and ready to achieve results. .
As after this “plan”, (or orientation), the first step should be to increase the volume of trade exchanges and starting from here, the relations to be extended and expanded to other sectors.
In this context, Romanian-Albanian relations were analyzed at a meeting of the apparatus of the Romanian Foreign Ministry, where, among other things, Makovescu, in response to a question about the prospects, said: further, to further improve the relations in the field of trade exchanges, of the cultural ones”.
For his part, the Romanian ambassador in Tirana, Stojan, in a report to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, writes with optimism and proposes that: “The People’s Republic of Albania should be given concrete and informal assistance.”
He emphasizes that: “… we should always keep in mind the positions of the Albanian side, as they study the problems in depth before giving answers, or before presenting a draft plan, such as the draft plan on cultural exchanges for next year “And adds that:” the proposals of the Albanian side, we must take into account. ”
We have the problem in pursuit.

ON THE ACTIVITY OF SOVIET REVISIONISM AND OTHER REVISION COUNTRIES AGAINST OUR COUNTRY THROUGH KOSOVO
From the data collected from various sources, it turns out that the Soviet Intelligence and those of other revisionist countries, exploiting Kosovo and other Albanian areas in Yugoslavia, carry out hostile activities against our country.
Soviet Discovery:
During the years 1966-1974, Vladimir Kolonallov, Kostandin Vorjasov, Kostandin Smirnov were active near the Soviet embassy in Belgrade. Currently at this embassy, work Alexei Stfikinov, camouflaged as First Secretary and Valery Mikhailov, as Second Secretary. It has been proven that this is followed by problems in the direction of Kosovo and for this purpose; they go there from time to time.
After the intervention of the Soviet embassy at the Federal Secretariat of Foreign Affairs of Yugoslavia, in August this year, V. Mikhailov participated as an “albanolgist” in the first seminar of the Albanian Cultural Center for Foreigners in Pristina, together with three other “albanologists” from the Soviet Union.
During his stay there for several days, he got in touch with Kosovar intellectuals and was especially interested in the relations of our University with the University of Prishtina.
The scout, V. Mikhailov, and other Soviet scouts, on frequent visits to Kosovo, contact cadres of central institutions and municipalities, to whom they distribute propaganda material in order to ideologically influence them, to use them as distributors of views and literature on family-social ties and to study them for exploratory purposes.
Various Soviet diplomats, showing constant interest in our diplomats in Belgrade and at various receptions, have attempted to contact them.
In addition to other Soviet scouts and diplomats, in Kosovo and other Albanian areas, go mostly cadres of various institutions, such as delegations, specialists, professors, etc., some of whom before 1960, were in our country as military, pedagogues and specialists, etc.
This is how Leond Dimitrovich Jakimov, as a “merchant”, who before 1960, was in our country as an officer, and Agnia D. Desniskaja, a professor of Albanian language at the University of Leningrad, who also visited the country several times ours.
They are interested in the relations of the People’s Republic of Albania with Kosovo. A. D. Desniskaja, is also interested in our professors who give lectures at the University of Prishtina, showing the “desire” for her to assist in their lectures and our professors to assist in her lectures.
According to her, since 1957, at the University of Leningrad, there is a branch of the Albanian Language, which prepares every year about 20 staff. She spoke ill of our leadership, blaming it for a lack of readiness to normalize relations with the Soviet Union.
Special pedagogues and scholars, as well as Soviet cultural-scientific institutions, have increased the official and private demands towards the professors of the University of Prishtina and Kosovar intellectuals visiting the Soviet Union, targeting mainly those related to our University, who have family and social ties in Albania, this is how Esad Mekuli, Ali Hadrin, etc. were invited.
During 1974, there was an increase in tourist demand between Kosovo and the Soviet Union. Six groups of Kosovar tourists with 20-30 people went on this road, to which the Soviets gave privileges in reducing prices and paying these expenses on credit.
They were greeted “warmly”, accompanied by people who know Albanian, told about the successes of the Soviet Union, about the peaceful and internationalist policy of the Soviet Union. They try to use for data collection for our country, our relations with Kosovo, especially with those Kosovars who have visited Albania, such as: Shefqet Canahasa, lecturer at the University of Prishtina, Abdyl Bunjaku, journalist of “Rilindja” etc.
Taking advantage of the great economic difficulties that Yugoslavia is going through, especially Kosovo, the Soviets have increased investments and loans in Kosovo, where they send many specialists. Currently in Kosovo’s foreign trade balance, the Soviet Union ranks first with 49 million dinars.
Of the $ 450 million loan that the Soviet Union provided to Yugoslavia, Kosovo owes $ 180 million. The Trepca plant and other economic facilities will receive direct loans from the Soviet Union and will be supplied with machinery that will be assembled directly by Soviet specialists.
Polish Discovery
It is noteworthy that the composition of the Yugoslav delegations that visited Poland also includes key cadres from Kosovo, such as Ilia Vakiçi, Ali Shukria, etc., who have held talks on the development of economic relations between Kosovo and Poland. .
In July of this year, the correspondent in Belgrade of the newspaper “Tribuna Ludu”, Frantishek Lavinci, made a tour in Kosovo, which published in the newspaper several different articles on the situation in Kosovo.
In recent years, there has been an increase in trade exchanges between Kosovo and Poland, as well as “willingness” from the Poles to make investments and to send machinery and specialists to Kosovo. In return, the Poles receive lead ore and batteries from Kosovo.
In addition to trade exchanges and investments, there is also expansion in the field of tourism. Many Kosovars have gone to Poland for tourism, studies and specialization and over 100 of them have married Polish women, a phenomenon encouraged by Poles themselves.
According to a Yugoslav diplomat in Warsaw, all this is part of the activity of Poles and Warsaw Pact countries, aimed at the People’s Republic of Albania.
Discovery of the German Democratic Republic
There is an interest in the Discovery of the German Democratic Republic, through Kosovo, against our country.
Since 1973, in the embassy of the German Democratic Republic in Belgrade, works the detective Karl Heising, who graduated in our country before 1960 and after this time, this has been twice “diplomat”. He is interested in Kosovo and according to a Korean diplomat, works towards the People’s Republic of Albania.
The August seminar in Prishtina was attended by German “albanologists”, Dr. Oda Buchola and Vilfred Fidler, for whom there are data dealing with activities against our country. According to them, efforts are being made to open a permanent Albanian language course at the Language Institute in Berlin.
We are attracted by the fact that in the reception of the Embassy of the German Democratic Republic in Belgrade, on the occasion of the national holiday, were invited a number of personalities from Kosovo from the Chairman of the Executive to the directors of enterprises.
Czech and Hungarian discovery
Both of these Discoveries show interest in the situation in Kosovo, the expansion of contacts with Kosovar personalities, to the point of sending students to learn the Albanian language at the University of Prishtina. Hungarian diplomats are oriented to follow with interest the situation in Kosovo and its relations with our country.
Conclusions
The hostile activity of the Soviet Intelligence and the revisionist countries towards our country through Kosovo and other Albanian areas has been increasing.
Their purpose is:
a) To provide data on the situation in the People’s Republic of Albania.
b) To process elements from the Kosovar intelligence that has contacts with our country, to put them at their service for now and in perspective.
c) To create in the mass of Kosovars the conviction that the supposed line of our leadership in relations with the Soviet Union is not right and that they are for the normalization of “sincere” relations with the People’s Republic of Albania, in order to create in them harmful illusions and diminish their love for the Party of our country.
In their hostile activity they use the same forms and methods, such as increasing investments, lending, increasing tourist exchanges, attracting Kosovar staff for specializations, vacations, etc., and special and “warm” treatment, compared to members of other nationalities of Yugoslavia.
The press and Radio-Television of Kosovo, given the relations of Yugoslavia and Kosovo with the People’s Republic of Albania and our reaction, try not to give the necessary publicity to the activities and agreements with these countries. Memorie.al
