On Mita Jakova’s telephone conversation with Dhora Lekë
On March 6, 1957, at 18.00, Mita Jakova had the following conversations with Dhora Lekë on the phone:
Mita: Has the flu fallen there, you are sick, how is your mother, she will not come…?
Dhora: There is flu, we are not sick, mother is fine, and we are upset for you.
Mita: We are fine and there is flu here, Dhorë, did you get any news from there…?
Dhora: I just took a note, but they did not let me go to meet.
Mita: More note to go to Tirana, Dhora, you are going to Tirana, it is good to meet with those friends of the Party (this last phrase, Mita, repeated with intensity 3-4 times, as Dhora did not hear well and more finally, Mita said to him: leave him alone, he does not listen to him, even at first he said: “To meet that friend” and then he returned: “With that friend of the Party”).
Mita: Send any news.
Dhora: Mita, he wants to separate, they do not let me go.
Mita: Does the mother get upset?
Dhora: No, he is not upset, from the 20th I will send him there.
Mita: Without stopping the flu, do not send it.
They finally greeted each other, promising each other that they would exchange news later, but by what means they did not say.
The line was very noisy and could not be heard well, it was heard that the central banker of Gjirokastra said to Dora: “The minutes are over” and Dhora answered: “Well, I will pay more”.
The conversation was overheard by a third apparatus of Major Christo Vokos.

Report i dt. 20.3.1957
The source informs that around February 16, 1957, in the car park of the battalion, where they were cleaning vehicles, they were talking to soldiers Jonuz Ymeri and Nimet Baci and he, about the shooting of Dali Ndreu and his wife. Among other things, Jonuzi said: “I am amazed by these great people who are not comfortable, the people give them enough money to eat, and they betray him.”
Nimeti, asked him; how do you say, what do they have and what they want, he said: what about you what do you think, I said Nimeti, I say that these are politicians and do not want this government. This is what Jonuzi says, no more, that Dali Ndreu openly collaborated with the Yugoslavs and had become their agent together with his wife. Ai tha se; do you see how beautiful he knows, and Jonuzi said that; I learned this from Tuk Jakova.
He said that; Tuku will talk to you, Jonuzi said that; no, he did not talk to me, but I went to Berat in November 1956, to get a family of officers who had been transferred to Shkodra and that officer met that Shkodra man who was a civilian, whom I know and said that; I go to Shkodra, that civilian told him that; if you were to go, that officer told him that; here you have the driver.
The civilian said that you should take me to Shkodra as well, since you are going directly, I told Jonuzi, I told him; how not to take the people of Shkodra, because I myself am from Shkodra, Jonuzi said from that conversation, that officer left, while I joined the civilian where on the street we met Tuk and we went for a walk and went to the restaurant “Moscow” and drank beer.
He told Jonuz; but how could we trust to drink with you? Jonuzi told her that; before we went out, Tuku was afraid and did not talk, but the man from Shkodra opened the conversation between Dali Ndreu and all his friends, how they were shot.
Tuku looked him in the eye and did not make a sound and I saw him said Jonuzi, that they were afraid of me and I told them; do not be afraid of me, do not be afraid and know me and tell them my father’s name and tell them that I am like you, at this time the civilian jumped up and said; even, the son of so-and-so is you, saying that I know your father.
And he said to Tuk; do not be afraid of this and they started talking. Tuku at this time said that; I told the Central Committee that it is not the Party line like that, I said that and I say it. He civilian said; You Tuk, you made a mistake that it is not done as you did, I said Tuku, one thing that is right, I tell the people, the Party, but how people and the Party take it, is something else.
He told Jonuz; but in what way is something else, Jonuzi said: he knows that I am from Shkodra, but I did not hear their conversation. Nimeti told him; yes they spoke Albanian, Jonuzi said; they spoke Albanian, but I could not understand them, they had it on the murder of Dali and his wife. At this time, the ward convened and the conversation was interrupted.
On March 13, 1957, at 10 o’clock in the morning, he and soldier Dhimitër Ruçi went and checked Jonuz Ymeri’s car. Jonuzi was with soldier Sulejman Gaba and they talked about Popovic’s speech and explained what the newspaper was saying. Dhimitër Ruci told Jonuz; it seems that you have a big head and you have to deal with politics, Brahim Çela told him that; you have to deal with great people and that you deserve to be here.
He said; Do you not know that he is indeed dealing with great people, and do you know that he lied to us another day, saying: we met Tuk Jakov and had real conversations. Jonuzi said; do not look at me because I am a soldier, why what it is that Tuku was a worker and why I presented myself as theirs, he said he could.
Sulejman Gaba said; and this kulak has been (for Jonuz) and Tuku supported the kulaks, at this time he said; no more, I make fun of Jonuz, that he is like a hoxha, that even Tuku supported the priests and imams, Dhimitër Ruci said that; as he did, he suffered.

R E P O R T
From the 23rd of August until the 3rd of November 1957, the following issues were discussed by Tuk Jakova and Hulusi Spahiu, being present:
Behind the scenes of Berat: In Berat the Conference held its work, in this conference measures were taken against some friends, such as the case of Ramadan Çitaku and Liri Gega. The latter, allegedly had taken the place of Koci Xoxe, but his friend Enver Hoxha, had left him with that task, as Koci Xoxe was in prison.
There really was a backstage here, in which comrade Nako Spiru was also part, but in this backstage, the Yugoslavs did not have a finger, because there was Miladin, who did not intervene, so here there was no interference from The Yugoslavs. Nakua, after the end of the Conference, said that we were left with this insulting word about Comrade Enver.
On the VIII Plenum. Before the Plenum took place, says Tuku, the Yugoslav Party sent a letter to the Central Committee of our Party, stating that; In our relations, two lines were crystallizing: the first line for relations with the Soviet Union and the second line for the breakdown of relations with Yugoslavia, this role for the breakdown of relations was played by Nako Spiru.
In the Plenum it turned out that in the head of our Party, there was a faction and this is true, as comrade Enver and Nako Spiru talked to each other, but for this situation, comrade Enver left it all to Nako Spiros, not left long term, so he was forced to kill himself. By killing himself, Nakua covered up his friend Enver’s relationship with Nako, if Koci Xoxe wanted him, or the Yugoslavs, then they would definitely win, so there was no faction.
On the 1st Congress: In the 1st Congress he says both Tuku and Hulusi, Enver has been isolated, this is not true, but he said this to avoid criticism from the Party mass and from the side next to avoid self-criticism, after in the report of Sh. Enver is said that the political line has been straight, while the organizational line is crooked and this in order to avoid criticism from the party mass and not to make self-criticism, also link all the activity of Koçi Xoxe on the faults he has did and on the actions had knowledge and sh. Enver, after being the General Secretary of the Party. Therefore, you have to make an in-depth analysis of this, because it does not take place today to blame all of Koçi Xoxe.
On relations with Yugoslavia: In 1955 there were signs of improving relations with Yugoslavia, and the XX Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and more light to move in this direction. Well, if not the development of good relations with Yugoslavia, a negative role has been played by Berja and now, recently Molotov, Kaganovi e and Malenkov, while in our Party the relations with sh. Mehmet Shehu and Liri Belishova.
They accuse Yugoslavia that socialism is not built, that they are an agency and what spoiled them the most were the events in Hungary, while from the current situation it turns out that socialism is built there, that they are not an agency. This is confirmed by the departure of Khrushchev and Tito to Romania, so the accusations made against our Yugoslav Communist League by our party are unfair and baseless. Therefore, these relations must be corrected and this is confirmed by the speech of Zhukov and St. Enver.
In the breakdown of relations, both Tuku and Hulusi say that our party is more to blame. But today they must be corrected because this is the situation./Memorie.al
