Memorie.al publishes a voluminous archival file issued by the institution of the Authority for Information of Former State Security Files, where there are hundreds of documents with the logo “Top secret” belonging to the former political prisoner, Xhavit Qesja, originally from the city of Kruja, whose family during the period of occupation of the country, 1939-1944, was closely associated with the Anti-Fascist Movement, being one of its main bases and made available all the wealth it had, as Xhavit was one of the first members of the Albanian Communist Party for the Kruja district, leading the Kruja-Ishëm partisan battalion and the 22nd Assault Brigade. Xhavit Qese’s political career after the end of the War, where he was appointed and served in senior positions in the Albanian Army, the apparatus of the Central Committee of the ALP, and several districts of the country, from where he was sent to study in the Soviet Union, where stayed until 1957, when he was announced to return to Albania urgently, after openly expressing his views in favor of the political line being pursued by the main Kremlin leader, Nikita Khrushchev, condemning the Stalin cult. Enver Hoxha’s conversation with Xhavit Qesen in his office in the Central Committee, where he sharply criticized him for the wrong views he had expressed during his studies in Moscow, urging him to reflect and make self-criticism, but Xhavit rejected the suggestion of the first secretary of the Albanian Labor Party, which caused him to no longer be allowed to go to the Soviet Union to complete his studies, but to be sent to work as deputy chairman of the Elbasan Executive Committee, from where a year later, he was expelled from the Party and exiled to Zvërnec Island, where the communist regime kept isolated some of the former senior party and state cadres whom he had condemned for their anti-party views. Xhavit Qesva’s long ordeal and persecution from 1957 to 1990, where he spent a full 32 years in prison and internment, being one of the few convicts in Burrell Prison who went on long hunger strikes in protest of the treatment and savage attitude that the communist regime of Enver Hoxha was holding towards him. The complete form, investigative and judicial file in charge of Xhavit Qeses, which is published for the first time by Memorie.al, which contains the documents of the former State Security that reflect the prosecution and wiretapping against him, the reports of Security collaborators with pseudonyms their correspondence with the letters he sent to the highest party and state instances, as well as the highest leaders of the ALP, until 1991 when he was released from prison!

There are those, like Gjin Marku, etc., who, on the one hand, say that they did well for Todi’s bathtub. I took them to the dungeon, because I have been in open war with them for almost 20 years.
For this they also eat with Hazbi, because one says I took them and the other vice versa I took them. On the other hand, Gjini is sorry; he wants to bring you something, but without being noticed. This kind of solidarity is also noticed in others, including Xhavit Qesen, who silently cares and asks about Macedonia. On the rules of orthography of the Albanian language, enrichment and replacement of foreign words.
“The dictionary of the Albanian language is a major, scientific work in the true sense, its authors are stripped of their hats as they say, especially A. Kostallari. To me he has been and remains a seeker of praise…!
I also compared the dictionary with other dictionaries such as Larus, Nuovissimo Melzi, and Oxford. I do not leave anything missing and without reservations as far as I know, it stays higher…! I am very happy, happy just like the child I have, working with him over and over again. I took notes…! Is there any word or verb, which in my opinion has escaped them, is not in the right accuracy, in the plural or singular, gender, etc? But these do not matter…!
Unfortunately, the rules of spelling are not well known, especially by writers, journalists, etc. It is unfortunate, but in the press there are many mistakes, words, names, foreign words, etc. I persistently noticed that in one article by Dajlan Shaplos alone, there were over 60 errors. For me, I do not even give the grade three I leave in class. A literary critic is not allowed…!
On the other hand, there is a wide use of foreign words, such as in the press, in speeches and greetings of Party and State leaders…! Why should I continue to use the word inauguration, when this can be nicely replaced with “Inauguration”. These are not forgiven. That those peoples and nations that do not have strong state bodies do not have literary language. Idriz Ajeti says somewhere rightly.
Kosovo and Kosovars have made a revolution in the unification of language, its purity, the replacement of foreign words. Doemos in cooperation with our bodies the Academy of Sciences, U.T. etc. Yes, we can do even more…! The language problem has been and remains a political problem. “Now is the time and the whole burden falls on the Institutes, U.T., schools, the press and our publications.”
On the other hand he is a conspiratorial enemy, but also cunning and hysterical. He has recently severed relations with Gjergj, but has reunited with B. Belishova and M. Çomon, in the room he talks to Fadil, although he often despises him, but these say to remain between us. He gets angry and faints at any non-fulfillment of any request. He rejoiced when they were allowed the books that came from the house, but was angry until he fainted, when the commissar warned him that in the future they would not allow him.

DECISION

That Xhavit Qesja, the son of Hajdari and Sabrije, born in Kruja in 1920, with higher education, with the profession of clerk, rich commercial class, twice convicted for hostile anti-party activities.
Xhaviti was convicted of the crime of agitation and propaganda against the Party and being in the conditions of serving the sentence was re-convicted again in 1967 and finally sentenced to 17 years in prison.
Initially, Xhaviti was serving his sentence in ward 307 Tepelena and in August 1972, he was transformed into ward 321 Burrel. During the time in this department he has maintained a bad attitude, he has spoken out against the decisions of the Party, stating that: “Albanian-Chinese relations are not what is reflected in the press, that there are great divergences between the two courses”, in terms of politics The Communist Party of China does not approve of the way the notion of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat in Albania is conceived and implemented.
Also regarding the measures taken by the Party against foreign influences, it was stated that the measures taken on the one hand enjoy, because they will increase the resistance in the ranks of intelligence and youth and will speed up the day when it will start to react actively to the Dictatorship of the Proletariat.
In his direction, the agent “Beni” has given these data that are fully confirmed by the data released by T.O. In 1973 Xhaviti was resumed in active processing 2 / A and on 25.9.1977 his processing was stopped, after he realized that the facility had interrupted the conversations with the convicts.
During 1981, in the direction of the building, the agents “Butrinti” and “I Penduari” gave, who give that although restrained, Xhaviti at times, places and with different persons carries out hostile activity, excluding that in the room he does not speak at all, but only develops some ordinary conversation.
B.p., “Butrinti”, Xhaviti said: “I have my sins. I am paying them, but staying in this environment has made me very impatient…! Recently he has approached and talked a lot with Gjergj Titan…! I was accused of being anti-Soviet. I objected that it is not true the case for which I was convicted is a personal matter.
I did not accept anything in court. I wrote only to the Party leader. I wrote to the leaders not to brag like a rooster. Party congresses have been and will be held; no doubt they will look after them, for events and people.
The Party leader does not escape here either…
B.p. “The Repentant”, reports on the friendship that Xhaviti has started to thicken with Gjergj Titan, Maqo Çomon, Fadil Paçrami, Todi Lubonja and Bardhyl Belishova.
