All the complete documentation is made public for the first time by Memorie.al, where light is shed on all the charitable activity of the famous saint, to help the poor around the world and her extraordinary desire to help her compatriots in Albania. communist rule, as well as the total silence of official Tirana and the high communist leadership of that time, led by Ramiz Alia and Nexhmije Hoxha, who under various pretexts prevented her arrival in Albania and allowed it only in 1989, thanks to pressure great international!

Report-information of the President of the Albanian Red Cross, Ciril Pistoli, regarding the conversations held with Mother Teresa, during her escort throughout Albania.

I n f o r m a t i o n

Comrade Jorgo Melica

During conversations with Mother Teresa, in the airport lounge and during the car trip, the following were discussed:

After I asked her, she said that she did not know Albanian, as she could not practice it with anyone else, because there are no Albanians in Calcutta, but she knew Serbian because she spoke it with some Yugoslav monks who are there. .

As far as I understood, she understood Albanian, recited some verses of a religious prayer and when she left Tirana, at the Reception House, spoke some phrases in Albanian and her sister Marije, her companion, said that if one for a while speaking Albanian, he remembered the words.

On Thursday, Dodona Vila, the daughter of Sabri Qyteza – Renaissance activist, who was friends with Mother Teresa’s mother and sister, came to my house. She told me that Mother Teresa knew Albanian because she had read in 1952 the letters she sent to Ages and they were in Albanian. Dodona told me that Kole Bojaxhiu had been poisoned by Serbs.

A question about the health status of people. AIDS was discussed. She told me if our country will participate in the very wide international conference to be held in Rome. When he left, he told me he was going to tell the conference chairman to send us an invitation. I informed him that there is no AIDS in Albania, that we have hired staff for specialization abroad and for diagnosing the disease.

Asked if she had been to Yugoslavia and Kosovo, she replied that she had been to Yugoslavia several times, but not to Kosovo. She told me with concern that now the situation in Kosovo is serious and complicated.

Ask if our country has charitable institutions. I talked to them about state-run nursing homes. She told me that she had set up such institutions in the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, etc. She thinks of setting up one in Albania and wanted to bring four sisters here for this purpose. She has emphasized this possibility several times.

When we escorted him, he left me with the impression that he was satisfied with the visit, while traveling by car seeing people on the street, he said they are satisfied and smiling. When he looked at the cultivated, cultivated, green fields, he asked: “So are the other provinces of Albania?

She said she would stay one day in Rome and then go to Calcutta and after a few days go to China.

Mother Teresa’s letter to Jorgo Melica, Chairman of the Committee on Friendship and Cooperation with the Outer World

Dear Mr. Melica

You took very good care of everything during my first visit to Albania. I am writing to you so that we can continue to work together.

Since I am not yet able to travel, I asked Jean to come and meet me. I received a letter from the president and hope you see the details together.

I have full confidence in you on this issue. Her only interest is to work under my direction and speak as she pleases. Rest assured that Jean will respect any confidentiality.

My wish was greater, to be able to come with my sisters to Albania this year. The state shows a wonderful care for the needs of all the Albanian people, but it is impossible to have “all the sweet love and care”.

We will bring this. I am Albanian and in this spirit I will offer sweet love “.

Thank you for the telegram as well as for the prayer and congratulations you sent me for my recovery from the illness I went through.

I am very touched by your kindness and I ask God to give you His blessings for you and your family.

Keep the joy of loving God with one another and share that joy with others.

God bless you

      Mother Teresa

Speech given by Jorgo Melica before the screening of the documentary film dedicated to Mother Teresa, made by Ana and Zhanete Petrie

Dear friends, dear guests.

This marked event united us today: We have for several days in Albania, the simple man but with great work in the world, Mother Teresa and today we have here in this show, the film dedicated to her life and contribution, for benefit of poor, miserable, sick and homeless people.

Mother Teresa, this well-known Albanian charity, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, came to Albania with the desire and longing to see her reborn country and to pay homage to her family’s graves in Tirana.

She is known in our country and everywhere in the world for the great merits of humanity, love for man, and her sacrifices to the point of self-sacrifice, to help and alleviate suffering, disease, war wounds, natural disasters and ordinary people.

The motto of this great humanist has been and remains: “It does not matter how much you do and how much you give to the poor, it does matter how much sincerity and human love you put into your action.”

With such a strong sense of love for people, Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, later known as Mother Teresa, would take her travels from the Charity Centers in Calcutta to misery, to other centers of functioning and poverty in the world. She traveled through Latin American countries in Africa as well as Europe and the US, forgiving to some extent the great injustices of society.

She tried everywhere I went, with her actions, with her simple and wise word, to help people feel the love she offered to millions of the poor in the world and the lack of this feeling, she considers poverty the most big.

We will learn more about her personality, her contribution from the film that will be shown now.

I take this opportunity, also on your behalf, to wish Mother Teresa that the days of her stay in Albania are as useful and happy as possible, with longing for the people and the land of the motherland and always wishing her health, long life and successes in its noble mission.

This film “Mother Teresa” produced by director Ana Petrie and Jeanne Petri, who accompanies Mother Teresa in our country and is present in this show, has been shown in many countries around the world and has been honored with various awards.
