Comrade Reis Malile: – I welcome you to Albania. You represent our people. Your work is known not only in Albania, but it is a colossal work known all over the world. We are proud of you and the Albanian people have only the pleasure and joy to see you in Tirana.
Mother Teresa: – I have been in India for 60 years, but our activity is known everywhere in the world. I hope to bring my sisters and then he will come to Albania more often, we will talk. The best thing in our wonderful work is to bring the poor closer to the rich, for them to cooperate, for the rich to help the poor. We are very close to the Albanian people. Here they have stayed close to me.
Comrade Reis Malile: – I convey to you the greetings of President Ramiz Alia, but I say with regret that he is not in Tirana now.
Mother Teresa: – I have written a letter to the President, in English, I want and please give it to him. I know it’s holiday time and he may not be here. I’m sorry I do not speak Albanian, but next time I will speak.
Comrade Reis Malile: – I will gladly submit this letter to the President. We are glad to see you with full vitality, with iron will, all passion and tried in great difficulties. An example must be taken from your will.
Mother Teresa: – It is God’s will; he uses me and my sisters. Here I also visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery, they are well kept.
Comrade Reis Malile: – The Albanian people have suffered a lot; they have fought many wars for freedom and national independence. We have respect for the fallen, as well as respect for the elderly and especially the family. We make a lot of efforts to improve our lives. There is progress in society only in freedom.
Mother Teresa: – You did not have help from abroad? Why did not you get it?
Comrade Reis Malile: – Getting credit and help from abroad means creating an artificial well-being. For example, Yugoslavia, which is mired in foreign debt, is currently living in a major crisis. In international relations we are for peace and friendship between peoples.
Mother Teresa: – Yes, it’s difficult for debt-ridden countries to pay off. We believe in god for everything. We do not accept money from anyone, not even from the government, and from no one. We deal with thousands and thousands of people, but we do not ask and help comes for both miracles and those who suffer.
Comrade Reis Malile: – We fight to develop international cooperation on a fair basis, not by oppression and dictation. We try to have good relations with neighboring countries and we have them with Greece, we also try with Italy and we want the relations to move forward.
Mother Teresa: – Do you have good relations with Bulgaria?
Comrade Reis Malile: – We have good relations with Bulgaria and Romania, as well as with Turkey. We have very good relations with the Nordic countries. As for Yugoslavia, we do not have good relations.
Mother Teresa: – We just opened a charity mission in Hungary. God must also help in relations with Yugoslavia.
Comrade Reis Malile: – You should pray for Kosovars, who are going through difficult times, because Serbs there are doing very badly. They want to keep them as second-class citizens.
Mother Teresa: – There is a problem in Kosovo today. Are Albanians the majority now? There are many Kosovars and Albanians in New York as well. We have 86 charity missions in the US. We will pray for Kosovars. Albanians in Kosovo do not have equal rights with other peoples of Yugoslavia?
Comrade Reis Malile: -No. In India you lived the period of English colonization. The same methods are used by Serbian chauvinism currently in Kosovo. The Albanian government strives for Albanians to have the same rights as other Yugoslav citizens. We want good neighborliness with Yugoslavia and for that we make efforts, because just like your people who are good, there are good people in Yugoslavia.
Mother Teresa: – I did not know English colonization in India very well, just the beginning. I do not even know the situation of Albanians in Kosovo, because I do not deal with politics. Yes, we will ask you to have good relations with Yugoslavia as well.
Comrade Reis Malile: – What is your impression of Albania?
Mother Teresa: – Everywhere I was received with great love. I saw the grave of my mother and sister, which I had not seen for 60 years. I wrote letters to them, but I had never seen them. Marie Kraja has taken great care of my people and I only had that name for here in Albania. Yes I have a lot of people here now.
Comrade Reis Malile: – Spiritually you have been very close. Be confident that you have a lot of people around you. Last night we saw on television a show about you, it was followed with great interest. We will also arrange the screening of your film. So now our people have a greater respect and interest in you.
We rejoice in this fact. We wish you success in your mission. This is the first step that is done in Albania, if you stay longer you will see and meet more people, you will undoubtedly meet your family friends.
Your brother studied at the Lyceum of Korça and our leader, Enver Hoxha, was a professor. No doubt your brother had many friends and acquaintances, acquaintances, which would seek out and meet you. Dear Mr. President of our beloved country, Albania
After many years of prayer and desire to visit my country, after so many visits everywhere in the world, finally the good God gave me this beautiful gift, to come and see my people. The people of my family lived for many years here and here died. I had the opportunity to visit their graves.
Since my sisters who are charitable missionaries are in many places, I wanted to bring them here as well. At least four of them, to give warmth, love, and care to the elderly and the sick, all those who need love and care because they are our people. So be kind enough to let me bring my sisters here. Ours is neither a business nor a political issue.
I have neither good nor silver, but I will give you the sisters, and I hope we do a good deed for our Lord and our people.

BIOGRAPHY OF MOTHER THERESA
According to the book “Madre Teresa di Calcutta”
Mother Teresa of Calcutta, also known as Anjeza Gonxhe Bojaxhiu of Albanian origin, was born on August 27, 1910 in Skopje. Meeting an 18-year-old Jesuit missionary who discovered her religious inclination and rekindled her love for India’s miserable population was crucial. In 1928, she joined the Loretto Missionary Sisters Congregation.
After a brief stay at the Mother House of Order, in Ireland she was sent to Darjeling, India for an internship. There she became Sister Teresa. Until 1948, she served as a history and geography teacher at Santa Maria High School in Calcutta. From which she finally left with the consent of Pope Pius XII on June 8 of that year to undertake her mission on the streets of Calcutta.
In 1950 she founded the Women’s Congregation “Missionaries of Charity” which in 1963 was joined by the male branch “Fratelli”.
Numerous gratitude’s and honors have been attributed to her which she has humbly accepted, convinced that it has been an “instrument” in the hands of God. But the most important gratitude was in 1979 when he received the “Nobel Peace Prize” that Mother Teresa wanted to reject, but on behalf of the sick and suffering, she accepted.
Relatives of Mother Teresa
Age Bojaxhiu – sister – unmarried – died on 21.8.1973.
After the liberation, she was a presenter on Radio Tirana for the news in Serbian, and then a seamstress at home.
Roza (Drande) – mother – died on 12.7.1972
There is no one close to their family in Albania. Her brother Lazri died in Palermo in 1981, working as a pharmacist. He attended the French Lyceum in Korça.
Her father was in Skopje the leader of an Albanian group fighting for Albanian schools. He was poisoned in Belgrade, leaving his young children orphaned. In Prishtina is my aunt’s son, Lorenzo Antoni, with his daughter who works as a chorister.
In Albania they have never had a house of their own. Initially they lived in a private house in an alley next to the Ministry of Internal Trade, opposite the house of Riza Hajro, with whose mother Agia had many friendships. Later they lived in Avni Zajmi’s house, opposite the “Mihal Duri” Station.
Most recently they resided in a state apartment near the Executive Committee of neighborhood no.8. The Mysejen Mero, Vangjel Gjeçi, Nezi, Reshat Konçi’s sister who works in the School Book, who took care of Agen and Dranda, also lived in this apartment.
The grave of her mother and sister is known to Marije Kraja and others. They need maintenance. Marija, offers to specify them and the settlements in case it will be taken to the respective territories.
Agia and Dranden, were friends especially with the Guraliu family (a member of this family is a violinist).
Gonxhia (Mother Teresa) fell ill with tuberculosis when she graduated, so she decided to dedicate her life to the sick if she recovered. She went to the San Loreto Assembly in Ireland, where she stayed for 2 years, and then went to Calcutta, India, where she created her Order “Madre dei moribondi” which was devoted mainly to the treatment of lepers. /Memorie.al
