Memorie.al publishes unknown documents of the Central State Archive for the period of the War, where some of the famous partisan commanders and prominent nationalist and communist exponents such as: Xhelal Staravecka, Mestan Ujaniku, Qani Laro, Sadik Mbolani and Agron Çorati, by of various tracts in the years 1943-1944 have denounced the inhuman crimes of the partisans of the “National Liberation Army” led by the Communist Party led by Enver Hoxha …
Although 30 years have passed since the collapse of the dictatorial communist regime of Enver Hoxha in Albania and during this period of time hundreds of hundreds of different archival documents have come to light, as well as many other testimonies from dozens of participants and key actors of The war has not yet been given a correct answer to the question: In the years 1939-1944, in Albania there was an Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, or a civil war !? To this question, which apparently will continue to be the subject of controversy for a long time between scholars, historians and the two main wings of politics, the best answer remains the whitewashing of archival documents of that period of time. Which, for reasons already known, have not been made public. In the context and in continuation of the publication of these archival documents by Memorie.al in this article we are publishing, some of the tracts signed by Xhelal Staravecka, Mestan Ujaniku, Agron Corati, Sadik Mbolani and Qani Laro, former famous partisan commanders and exponents prominent communists, who in the years 1943-’44, denounced the crimes committed by the partisan forces, ordered by the highest leaders of the Albanian Communist Party. These tracts were compiled by the Central Committee of the “National Front” in 1944, and were published in a special pamphlet, from which we have selected the ones we are publishing in this article.
Xhelal Staravecka’s tract
Xhelal Staravecka, one of the first communists to launch actions against the Italians, fled the Party because it is in the hands of foreigners. We are republishing the tract that the leader of a very important partisan veteran gang, the well-known Xhelal Staravecka, has distributed these days in the South. We do not want to comment on this tract; we only say that Shqipnija wishes qi to take from him all the communists with a mind at the head and with Albanian blood in the veins. It was a tract: Comrades in the Communist Party of Duusanovi dhe and Miladinovi Ser, both Serbs with their reddened eyes with the blood of innocent Albanians, began to satiate their greedy stomachs as they threw us into this unprecedented cataclysm Albanian.
Comrades! We young people gave our lives to the Communist Party and we grew up, we strengthened it like a reasonable dictatorship, but as soon as that party felt a little stronger, it started the ugliest dictatorship to be eaten. Remember comrades, the 65 (sixty-five) innocent villagers before us taken by Hamit Matjani and Isa Manastirliu who did not empty their rifles against the partisans but surrendered, these deserters were shot without mercy by Neron Dusan Serbjani, the Second Jovena Naples, Mehmet Shehu (Isa Toska II) and gorilla Tahir Kadareja. Comrades! Remember the victims massacred by these four barbarians who stabbed and threw alive the inhabitants of Mallakastra of that Mallakastra that was destroyed by the fascist reaction … Ah! What a pity, the ruins of Mallakastra today are being irrigated with the blood of the innocents of that place from the cat hands of Dushan. Friends, you know why the unification of the Mukaj Congress was broken, because: In that congress, the word ethnic Albanian was mentioned, necessarily for Kosovo. However, Dushan and Meladini, residents of Metohija, a plain of Kosovo, do not tolerate Kosovo being taken away from Yugoslavia. For these friends, the union of Mukaj was broken, I happened to be with many friends of the Central, at the head of which was Drazha Miladini, when the proclamation of the Union of Mukaj arrived with an extraordinary post. We opened the proclamation and sang it in the face of the reader, the ray of joy shone for the good news of union, we all rejoiced. Later I got that proclamation and explaining half Albanian half Serbian, why I do not know Serbian, but he also does not know Albanian, but however poor in Serbian I explained to him and he understood, on his face immediately climbed a cerge black and began to say: “This union is not accepted, now that we are getting stronger we will start with the sword and not make contact with dogs, then the ethnic Skipper-non-Bentimajku-we were all gas for the union but immediately our faces were taken the serious color, saying: “These same nationalist scoundrels will now see how much we can organize and in a few days we will put the sword to them, and how many more, saying ethnic Albanian … You understand that our faces changed according to that of Drazhes. In Berat we killed and cut without revenge to take people’s money, we made Berat a state of siege that even fascism did not do; we started checking women’s panties in the houses, surrounding the houses of Berat with machine guns; We disarmed Nahija, in the village of Perisenka we took women from their breasts and saddles, and I don’t know how many others. In the face of these atrocities you will see in the documents, I made the decision to leave this DIRTY PARTY. Today we are many friends and we will organize in a conscious and not rebellious party and the days of escalation from the foundation of the bloody party with the Serbs bloody criminals at the head will not be far away.

After Xhelal Staravecka, Mestan Ujaniku, the Elder of the mountains
South, the first and greatest of the Commanders of the Albanian Communist Squads, fled the Communist Party, because this seeks to destroy the foundations of the Albanian Nation. With the greatest joy, we are announcing today to the Albanian people that the commander of the partisan detachments of Berat-Skrapar, the famous Mestan Ujaniku, has left the National-Destructive Party, together with his detachment of about 600 people, and has entered in agreement with one of our important members, to enlist in the Army of the “National Front”. We are publishing his letter integrally without changing a single word: Dear Albanian people, brother. In the face of horror, conspiracies, wells and whatever evil, we with flesh and blood tried to eradicate without sparing even the last drop of blood, to give the people what we had vainly promised: “Freedom”. But no matter how much we had done the impossible, keeping silent and watching with the greatest effort to fix things, hopefully, but this did not prove that with each passing day the horror became more and more fierce and more impatient. In other words, today we are facing an uglier time, where fratricide has become the most common thing. Woe to the Albanian people and especially the desolate Toskërija, what will they take away if we sleep. Therefore, we have decided to unite the people of Skrapar and the people of Deshnica, and hopefully all the Albanian people, without the ideology and things of terrorist communism that is killing the desolate people without guilt. The time of salvation has come, hurry to unite nationally because we are in danger from the communism of the Serb Dusanovic who is not satisfied with the bloodshed of the Albanian people, unfortunately it has fallen into the hands of foreigners. Xhelal and Xhelal Staravecka and I fled the terror of Dusanovic communism. Announce on all sides, inform Baba Xhaferr Përmeti and others who knew how to lay a sound foundation for the nation whose grave was opened by the Serbs. We are far away with all our strength and we will multiply these until we destroy from the foundations the death-bearers of the Albanian people.

Treaty of Sadik Mbolani
Even Sadik Mbolani, one of the military leaders of the Communist Party, commander of the Shpirag area, the hero of so many wars against the fascist occupier, broke away from the anarchist terrorist party and joined our nationalist organization “Balli Kombëtar”. Sadik Mbolani appeared on December 12, 1943 in the “Ball” Command of the Berat-Mallakastra area and swore that he would fight side by side with the nationalists against the terrorist anarchist redheads, who threw the country into the abyss and into fratricide. An Albanian heart that beats with love for Albania, but that has been deceived by the National Liberation, can no longer bear the toys of terrorist, destructive and bloodthirsty anarchists, made for the account and push of foreigners. One of these wrong Albanian hearts was also Sadik Mbolani, a prominent fighter and a good nationalist, who upon learning of the deception of the redheads, was separated from them as they were separated and many others will be separated. Homeland-loving Albanians! The organization “Balli Kombëtar” is ready to extend the fraternal hand of all those who, wrong or deceived, cooperated with the gravediggers of our country. Qani Laro, former chairman of the National Liberation Council of the city of Berat, returns to our gender.
(Here below we are publishing the text of the speech given on December 16 before the People of Berat, Mr. Qani Laro, former chairman of the National Liberation Council of the city of Berat. Remember that before, when the city was in the hands of terrorist anarchists, I signed a proclamation as chairman of the National Liberation Council of Berat, a proclamation which has been from beginning to end an insult to a series of unjust accusations against the Nationalist organization “Balli Kombëtar” and against prominent and pure patriots who try for the good of the Homeland and the people.I signed this proclamation only out of fear of the bloodthirsty Gjin Markut with friends, who shook me with horror, telling me “either the cobweb on the head, or the signature on the proclamation”, by both I accepted these two proposals, after I saw, as all the people of Berat have seen, that I was dealing not with people, but with savages who surpass the traitor Isa Toska a hundred times. Finally, the pseudo-communists are nothing but terrorist anarchists sold abroad to Dushan and Meladini, who have become the executioners of the poor Albanian people. These people do nothing but open the grave of Albania, deceiving with their vileness many nationalists, victims of the National-Liar.
People of Berat
You remember very well that it was the pseudo-anarchist communists who started the war against the “National Front” here in Berat, killing with dirty and dirty wells his soldiers, who were traveling by car inside the city. The curse of the Nation and of history weighs on these traitors, pseudo-communists, pseudo-liberators, the graves of the Homeland and the tools of foreigners. I am happy that I broke away from the friends of Isa Toska, Gjin Markut, etc., the cause of brother-killing and anarchy. Albanian youth!
You know very well Agron Corati, the brave comrade who was the first among the first, one of the leaders of every movement against the invader. Hear now his fervent call to save the Homeland. Albanian youth! Listen to Agron Coratin: Friends! I have acted as an activist in the Communist Party since its establishment, believing that in reality we were fighting for the liberation of the Homeland, and for the recovery of a truly Ethnic Albania. In fact, this is the aspiration of the youth and the Albanian people. Today, while the majority of the people are trying to rebuild Albania on the ruins of the previous regime, the minority led by the Communist Party has taken up the anti-Albanian issue, terror, anarchy, brother-murder. I, too, like thousands of young Albanians in our country, put an end to the anti-Albanian activity to follow the new path of recovery, of creating a lady Albania over ladies. Today, the situation has become clear in the eyes of anyone who really loves Albania, but has to choose the path of reason and Albanianism against foreign-branded terrorist anarchy. I invite all comrades to join the old patriots in the charitable organization Balli Kombëtar. The organization of the National Front is not as presented to us by the leaders of the Communist Party; look closely, notice its purposes and methods, and you will be convinced of the truth. Although in difficult conditions, this organization is the first to start serving the Homeland with conscience and perseverance. Balli Kombëtar everywhere and in any case, is and remains the faithful servant of the interests of the Homeland; the facts show us that it is moving towards the concrete application of the principles of the Historical Decalogue.

Revenge of the SNP against Ujanik, Çorat, Mbolani and Laros
The authors of the tracts after ’45 was executed or imprisoned
Open public denunciation through various tracts and calls made to the address of the Albanian Communist Party, some of the famous commanders of the partisan squads and prominent communist exponents, such as Xhelal Staravecka, Mestan Ujaniku, Sadik Mbolani, Qani Laro, Agron Corati etc., (for the criminal policy she was pursuing) would cost them dearly. Although Ujanik or Çorati continued to remain in the ranks of the Communist Party Front (as a result of pressure and threats). even after denouncing him, and until the end of the war, the senior leaders of the SNP did not forget their denunciations and the accusations they had made against them. Only shortly after the end of the war, (in 1946). Lieutenant Colonel Mestan Ujaniku, the commander of Albania’s first partisan platoon (who had fought alongside his three sons), was arrested on charges of participating in the “Group of Deputies” who wanted to form an opposition within the Front. Ujanik died during the torture in the investigator without appearing in court, while his sons (former partisans) ended up in prisons and interments until the fall of the communist regime. The same fate befell the famous former communist, Agron Corati, who suffered for years in prison and interned in the Zvërnec camp, where Enver Hoxha had isolated some of his most potential opponents. The tragic fate of Ujanik and Corat followed other exponents of partisan factions, such as Sadik Mbolani, Qani Laro, etc., who had denounced the crimes of the Communist Party during the war. Xhelal Staravecka, who left Albania at the end of 1944, was not spared the punishment for the crimes committed by the partisans during the war. While a political asylum in Italy, Staravecka was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), accused of killing 130 Italian prisoners when he was a senior partisan commander at Enver Hoxha’s headquarters.
Mass abandonment of partisan ranks and accession to “Balli”
Hundreds of partisans deserted from the crimes of Dusan and Miladin
Xhelal Staravecka, Mestan Ujaniku, Agron Corati, Sadik Mbolani and Qani Laro were not the only famous commanders of partisan detachments and prominent communist exponents who publicly denounced the crimes of the Communist Party, which, according to them, had become a criminal tool of two Yugoslav emissaries, Dusan Mugosa and Miladin Popovic. According to the documents of the nationalist organization “Balli Kombëtar”, which are in the Central State Archive, as well as from many testimonies of active participants of the Antifascist Movement in 1941-’44, during that period of time, there were partisans and the Communist Party mass abandonment and desertion of hundreds upon hundreds of partisans. Most of those who left later joined the nationalist National Front factions. (In a special edition of the Central Committee of the National Front of 1944, all these tracts are summarized, where the inhuman crimes of the communists are denounced). This can be seen in some of the tracts and communiqués issued by the Circular of the “National Front” of Berat in 1943, which reads, among other things:
RETURN TO THE BAY OF THE HOMELAND
Between the months of December and August, several hundred partisans surrendered to the various commands of the “National Front” of the Berat District, deserted from the ranks of brigades and battalions organized by Meladini and Dushani. That all surrendered have shown their complete remorse, after it was finally understood openly that they were no longer serving the national ideal, they were serving the interests of foreigners to the detriment of Albania. “We generally declared ourselves surrendering – we took up arms for the freedom of Albania and fought only as nationalists. However, when we saw that our war was betrayed and turned into a fratricidal war by the foreign leaders, tools of the Serbs Dusan and Meladin, we secretly separated from them and today we are completely at the disposal of the Albanian Homeland and patriotism. And hundreds of other comrades have come to terms with the truth and want to flee, but to this day have been unable to desert for fear of political commissars guarding their feet. The fugitives, after handing over their weapons, were left free to go to their apartments and look after their affairs. We are convinced that sooner or later all those who belong to the ranks of terrorist gangs will surrender, with the exception of some leaders who have been stigmatized by the people with the stamp of criminality and treason.
A PARTISAN INTERVENTION
A few days ago, a partisan gang flew into the Shpirag area, in order to force the people to join the national-lying party! But the people in question, who stand firm in the nationalist ideal and have weapons in their hands in many heroic wars against the Italian occupier, turned their guns on the anarchist terrorists. Meanwhile, the old man of the mountains, Sadik Mbolani, commander of the nationalist battalion “Shpiragu”, was put in pursuit of the gang in question, together with the brave deputy commanders, Sofo Iljazi and Ali Muharremi. The above battalion also captured three partisans, who accompanied them to the command of the ‘Balli’ district. This, after disarming them, left them free “./ Memorie.al
