Memorie.al publishes some archival documents extracted from the Central State Archive in Tirana, where the personal fund of the former first secretary of the PPSh Central Committee is located, from which we have extracted some parts from his political diary that belongs to a period of time from the beginning of January 1979 to February 1982, where the focus of his notes are the events developed in Iran, where the Islamic insurgent forces led and inspired by Ayatollah Kohmeini who managed to dethrone Shah Reza Phalevi, who, having the full support of the United States of America, was forced to leave the country by plane, arriving first in Cairo, where he was received as a personal friend by President Janwar Sadat and also, the former president of the United States of America, Zehrar Ford, (who was on a visit to Egypt those days), to then leave for the USA. After the overthrow and impeachment of Shah Reza Palehvi, at the end of January 1979, Ayatollah Kohmeini, the religious spiritual leader of the Shia Iranians, who was said to be leading the revolution to overthrow the Palehvi dynasty, arrived in Tehran from Paris, where he was staying for years. How he described all those events in his political diary, the leader of communist Albania, the dictator Enver Hoxha, who, among other things, says: “Shahu, to protect himself from the people, had bought from the United States of America , a large amount of the most modern weapons that they have sold abroad, he had created an army of hundreds of thousands of people, with all kinds of weapons, with airplanes, with tanks, with machine guns, with missiles of the most modern, he had built many airfields . All this was done to protect the assets of the Americans in Iran and the assets of the Shah, as well as to keep the people in misery. Of course, such a state could not continue throughout his life, although material military and political aid to the Shah came from all four corners of the world. In addition to others, even the new Chinese empire threw roses at the Shah. Hua Kuo Fen himself, went to Iran and with the greatest cordiality, talked about a: “great and healthy friendship”, with the Shah of Persia and wished long life to this powerful supplier of oil, great friends of China , the United States of America and world capitalism”.

So Hua Kuo Feni, president of “socialist” China, was talking in Shahinshah’s palace, while SAVAK was mass murdering the Iranian people and patriots. But the Shah fell from the fig tree and Khomeini came. What would China do? Naturally, he would lick up what he had spat out and kiss Khomeini’s hand. The Chinese have nothing to do with “volte face”, they are not ashamed of it, and they don’t care if today they are with the Shah and Pinochet, tomorrow they are with the Ayatollah and a new Allende. So they had to apologize to Ayatollah Khomeini. At the time of the Shah and the power of SAVAK, the Chinese had opportunities and organized their agency there, which cooperated closely with the CIA.
Now these partisans of China cannot be left without support, however, if Ayatollah Khomeini is not supported, you cannot secure their agents in Iran. So China is maneuvering in this direction as well. According to the Reuters agency, the Pakistani presidential adviser, Agha Shahi, who is on a visit to Iran, delivered here a message from President Hua Kuo Fen, where he apologized to Ayatollah Khomeini, for the visit he made to Iran during the exiled Shah’s regime. , saying that “I express pure feelings for the Islamic Republic of Iran”. According to the “Reuters” agency, the Chinese leader tried to justify to Ayatollah Khomeini, his roasting with the Shah of Iran, telling him that he was stopped in Iran when he returned from Yugoslavia, to relax after the long trip he had made.

We and the Iranian people will forgive him.” Amen! So President Hua is mending the lines with the leaders of Iran, with the Islamic countries, with Pakistan and with the Americans. It is understandable that China is the vanguard of US imperialism and the CIA in Iran. It was no coincidence that Hua Kuo Fen, the leader of a great country, came to support the shah against the revolted people in his very last days. For the Chinese, it doesn’t matter whether you are Shiite or Sunni, Buddhist or Muslim, Catholic or Protestant.
For them, everyone is the same, all “cats” are the same, it is enough to catch “mice”, it doesn’t matter if the “cat” is black or white, and it is a “cat” for China. Therefore, the humility of the Chinese is not over, it is accompanied by constant smiles from both sides. So whoever wants to please the Chinese, after meeting and talking with them, must go to the dentist to adjust their jaws, because of course they are wrinkled from fake laughter, in front of the Chinese. And we, not only did not smile at their Chineseness, but, on the contrary, we slapped them and cut off their laughter in the middle.

HANDS OFF IRAN!
Article thesis. I gave theses to write another article on Iran. This article, which is the third or fourth that we are writing about the events in this country, should be aimed at protecting Iran from American threats. In other words, in this article we have to express our opinion on this matter. For the content of the article, we should take the cue from Carter’s statements and the actions of American imperialism, which has decided to impose a complete economic blockade against Iran. Now he has blocked in American banks and their subsidiaries the assets of Iran, whether those of the Iranian state, whether the billions looted by the Shah. So, American imperialism threatens Iran in the beginning with a cold war, to turn it into a hot war later.
It is understandable why American imperialism does this, because it is receiving heavy blows from the people of Iran and is suffering defeats in all its undertakings. American imperialism will suffer other defeats if it does not give up threats and predatory war. But American imperialism cannot help but protect its “Empire”. This means that he will continue to try to keep Iran under control, that is, the oil of this country. So, it protects the robberies at the expense of the Iranian people, it protects the executioner of the Iranian people, Shah Pahlavi, who is his agent and at the same time a bloody murderer of his own people. The Iranian people have risen up against American imperialism, and are waging a just, merciless war against it.
So, the Iranian people’s war is on the right path and must be supported, while the war that American imperialism is preparing is a predatory war and must be condemned. These that I highlighted should serve as a background to the article, and around this background, we should point out that American imperialism in its activities is supported, who more and who less, who openly and who secretly, by all other imperialists and the western capitalist countries, as well as their satellites, such as Tito and Ten Hsiao Pini and friends, then, directly or indirectly, the Soviet Union also supports it. But, in fact, the Soviet Union and the United States of America are fighting to divide the spheres of influence in this region.
Until now, Iran has been under the sphere of the Americans, while, in these conjunctures, Soviet revisionism tries to take the place of the Americans. He does this with secret pressures and open threats, on the one hand, supposedly to protect the independence of Iran, and, on the other hand, seeing the threatening situations created by American imperialism, he gathers armed forces in Soviet Azerbaijan, causes the turmoil with its own agency inside Azerbaijan and Iranian Kurdistan, etc. Last night, the US State Department and news agencies announced that the Soviets had landed about 50,000 troops as well as a number of tanks in Afghanistan and carried out a coup against Prime Minister Hafizullah Amin, who was removed as pro-Soviet and as it was known came into force but with a coup d’état, after overthrowing and killing Tarakin, who was also pro-Soviet.
It seems that a double game is being played here, that is, both on the part of the Soviets and on the part of the Americans. In the general account, all this is done at the expense of Iran, where the superpowers are trying to realize their expansionist goals, it is clear that the predatory actions, covert or open, of American imperialism and Soviet social-imperialism in this region, the pressures on Iran, the direct invasion of Afghanistan, are part of the concerted imperialist conspiracies against Iran, the Persian Gulf countries and the aims to suppress the uprisings in the Middle East, that is, in the Arab countries.
In this article we must emphasize that the struggle of the Iranian people is a liberation struggle, against feudalism and against imperialism, therefore it is good for the Iranian people to be united before the main enemies that threaten them, American imperialism and Soviet social-imperialism. Here we can also talk about Khomeini and say that we do not agree with his idealistic Islamic philosophy, but we agree with his political positions, with his anti-imperialist, anti-American struggle and we support him in this struggle. Then we must say that later, after Iran’s independence is consolidated and the danger that threatens it from American imperialism and Soviet social-imperialism is postponed, the Iranian people must fight for democratic rights, for land, for bread, for freedom his.
We must emphasize that the actions of the Americans will bring dangerous turmoil, which could lead to world war. Ayatollah Khomeini declared that the United States of America seeks to block Iran, which means armed war between them and that this war will turn into a bloody world war. Imam Khomeini is right, because if American imperialism attacks Iran, it must take into account that the entire Middle East, the entire oil basin, will catch fire, and in this war the peoples of these countries cannot but protect the people Iranian who is of one faith with them, regardless of the contradictions between them that the governments of the countries of this region may have.
So, in the Middle East, a war between the Americans and the Iranians will disrupt the current shaky conjuncture built with intrigues, and the Soviet Union, England, France and other countries will enter the conflict. Thus, the United States of America, in case of war, will face not only the people of Iran, but also the other peoples of the Persian Gulf, the peoples of the Middle East in general. On the other hand, the war actions of the Americans or their blockades will necessarily find opposition from the partners and allies of the United States of America, from Japan, England, France, Italy, West Germany, who will be economically damaged, why would cut off their oil resources. These countries cannot live without oil, without it they cannot wage war.
Not even the United States of America can continue the war without the oil of the Middle East. If the United States turns the cold war against Iran into a hot war, it will lose oil. We must emphasize that American imperialism and other imperialists have their old agencies in Iran, which will act against the popular anti-imperialist uprising of Iran, against the students. Therefore, the Iranian people, the working class, the students and the peasantry, must be vigilant and stay united in the block, against the enemy, external and internal, that it maneuvers in a thousand ways, open or hidden, in the form of pseudo-democratic movements or in the form of conspiracies. All these conspiracies and pseudo-democratic movements are related to the external imperialists who want to return to Iran the old regime, their tool, the old agent, the Shah, or his people, to serve them no longer well and provide them with Iran’s oil.
We must emphasize that the inmates of the American embassy, the so-called diplomats, are nothing more than an agency. Currently, American diplomacy, Soviet diplomacy and that of many other countries, no longer has the true character of a diplomacy and does not apply those principles that are expressed when ambassadors of these countries present their credentials to the state where they are accredited; in fact, all of these are agents of the CIA, the FBI, the KGB, etc. and in these countries where they are accredited, they organize networks of espionage and conspiracies against the freedom, democracy and independence of the peoples of those countries. So, such are the American diplomats, who support the Shah and his men to acquire the fabulous riches of Iran.
Ayatollah Khomeini, the students and the Iranian people, had and have the right for these people to go to court to account for the diversionary activity they developed in collaboration with the Shah of Iran. The bourgeois world calls this righteous action of the Iranian people a violation of the international norms that regulate the status of diplomats and diplomatic relations, but forgets to say that these diplomats have already violated the rules and norms in question at the expense of the Iranian people. Even the Pope, one of the biggest capitalists in the world, from the window of the Vatican, this institution that has thrown the black spider’s web all over the world, threatened Iran “begging” Khomeini to release the hostages. But the Pope of the Vatican, his voice was not heard when the Americans, through the CIA and Ambassador Henderson, passed with tanks on the people of Tehran, who overthrew the shah during the time of Musadek.
Of course, the Polish Pope, Vojtila, is in full accord with the Polish American Brzezinski, the head of the National Security Council of the United States of America and the main architect of the preparation of the cold war and the hot war against Iran. But the people of Iran, the students and Ayatollah Khomeini, as we are seeing, take a manly and righteous stand not only against the American imperialist aggressors, but against all their lackeys, who wear the cloak of the church, who wear the cloak of the diplomat and with “letters and recommendations” from the presidents of their countries, they came to Iran to put pressure, in the form of advice or prayers, on Ayatollah Khomeini to release the hostages, because he is allegedly violating the diplomatic rights established by The United Nations Organization or from the traditions of diplomacy.
But it must be understood and it is clear that all of them do not take into account the great interest of the people of Iran and all other peoples oppressed by American imperialism, Soviet social-imperialism and world capitalism, but they have their own interests. , the interests of their cliques who are united with these imperialists in the war with the people of Iran and other peoples. All these, who demand that Iran make unfair decisions for its national interests and favorable to the Americans, are hiding under the mask of “friendship” with Iran, under the mask of supposed democracy and decency. But there is no decency towards the enemies of the people, there can be any justice in diplomatic positions, when these are violated by others, by the bigger ones, or even by the mischievous little ones. The fight against imperialism, its tools and actions must be waged tooth by tooth.

THE EVENTS THAT ARE DEVELOPING IN MUSLIM COUNTRIES SHOULD BE SEEN IN THE LIGHT OF DIALECTIC AND HISTORICAL MATERIALISM
Currently, the international situation appears to be quite fair. In many regions of the world, and mainly in the great basin of oil countries, especially Asia, the war between the two imperialist superpowers, the United States of America and the Soviet Union, without excluding imperialist China and other capitalist powers, for the division and redistribution of markets and areas of influence, to elbow each other, as has been rightly predicted for a long time by our Party, has reached new and large proportions. Their pressures and conspiracies are accompanied by efforts and diplomatic and propaganda noise about “deals and compromises” supposedly to maintain peace and the balance of forces. In fact, as recent events are showing, despite the great irritation of the rivalry, we see that bargain and compromise are still the basic principle of their policy towards each other.
But one day the rivalry between them may reach a point, which they will not be able to solve and overcome anymore, except by fighting confrontation. The consequences of such a confrontation, as it happened in previous imperialist wars, will fall on the peoples. The freshest result of this rivalry is the military aggression of the Soviet social-imperialists against Afghanistan, the occupation by force of arms of this country by one of the imperialist superpowers. It is a fact that what was done now openly and with armed forces by the Soviets against the sovereignty of the Afghan people, has been prepared for a long time by the Soviet chauvinist social-imperialist politicians and military and their Afghan agents.
Both the former and the latter, to reach where they are today, took advantage of the overthrow, first of King Muhammad Zaher Shah in 1973 and, later, in 1978, the overthrow of Prince Daud. For their evil purposes, they also exploited the desire for social liberation of the Afghan people, who felt the oppression of the absolute monarchy and its foreign friends, primarily the Soviets, who financed and kept it in power. . So, the Soviet social-imperialists, with all the “alliance” they had with the king of Afghanistan, worked and acted for his overthrow. In order to mask their own imperialist goals, they initially brought into power people with supposedly more progressive sentiments. Then they replaced them one after the other with bloody actions, with coups and tanks, they were taken to jail, as happened with Nur Muhamed Tarakin and Hafizullah Amin.
But no foreign invader, no matter how powerful and armed he is, can forever defeat the people he has attacked. The foreign invaders, in addition to the agentic, anti-national and anti-popular cliques, wherever they entered, were received and received by the peoples with hatred and resistance at first sporadically, then with more organized revolts that gradually turn into popular uprisings, into liberation wars. We are seeing this confirmed in Afghanistan, whose people have stood up and are fighting fiercely in the cities, in the villages and in the mountains against the invading Soviet armies. This war of the Afghan people enjoys the support and sympathy of freedom-loving peoples and revolutionary forces around the world. Our people also support him with all their strength.
