– “According to B.p., ‘Stilografi’, the Security officer Mark Dodani, came to Spaçi’s camp and put pressure on him, threatening him to talk about the Party leader”!-
Memorie.al/ “From the dungeons, they often took me and took me to the office of Nevzat Haznedari, who was the head of the Internal Department, who demanded to know: what conversations B.S. had had about Ramiz Ali. Since he had not told me anything about Ramiz Ali, I refused. Then he (Nevzati), several times when he took me, switched to promises and then to threats. Since I didn’t accept anything, they sent me back to the camp, ordering me that if I said anything, they would exterminate me. In the office, Nevzat took me alone, without any other person present. Nevzati promised me cooperation and even release if I accepted. He told me that: “we also want to know about the leaders”! After about two months, I was returned to the camp, where in 1971, here in Spaçi camp; Officer Mark Dodani came and called me, telling me that Nevzati had sent him. With Mark, there was also an officer named Q. Mark, too, was looking for the same things as Nevzat. He treated me well, and then went on to threats, telling me that; we will disappear. I have material that proves for hours and days what they asked me about Ramiz Ali, but these things are harmful and he suffers badly”!
This is written, among other things, in an archival document extracted from the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dated September 8, 1983, where there is an information report drawn up by the Operative Worker of the State Security, Bajram Pelo, according to he received the data from the State Security associate, with the nickname “Stilografi”, who at that time was serving his sentence in the Spaçi prison camp.

REPORT DATED 9/8/1983
Following the conversation that the convict P.K. gave him, the issues are as follows:
X.P., is his patriot, has told him that he has served 22 years in prison. He was in the Elbasan labor camp until 1969. X.P. told him that in that camp, he also got to know the convict B.S., with whom they later created many friendships, because they slept in adjacent beds. X.P. continues: Since I had made many friends with B.S., one day they called me to the office and from there they took me and took me to the dungeons of the Internal Branch of Elbasan. From the dungeons, they often took me and took me to the office of Nevzat Haznedari, who was the head of the Internal Department.
Nevzat Haznedari, continued to tell X., wanted to know: what conversations B.S. had had about Ramiz Ali. Since, continues X., B.S., he had not told me anything about Ramiz Ali, I did not accept. Then he (Nevzati), several times when he took me, switched to promises and then to threats. Since I did not accept anything, they sent me back to the camp, ordering me that if I said anything, they would make me disappear. In the office, Nevzat took me alone, without any other person present. Nevzati, continues X., promised me cooperation and even release if I accepted. Nevzat told me: “we also want to know about the leaders”, says X. After about two months, I was returned to the camp.
In 1971, here in Spaçi camp, Officer Mark Dodani came and called me, telling me that Nevzati had sent him. With Mark, there was also an officer named Q. Mark, too, was looking for the same things as Nevzat. He treated me well, and then went on to threats, telling me that; we will disappear. F.P. says that X told him that he wrote to Mehmet Shehu about these things, as well as to the Central Committee of the PPSh, but no one asked me. I don’t write, because I’m afraid, among them they have friends and I suffer. Explanations can only be given to a person authorized by the management.
I have material that proves for hours and days what they asked me about Ramiz Ali, but these things are harmful and he suffers badly. If I write to you, I’m afraid I don’t know whose hand the letter falls into! F., on his part, tells him that: I am afraid that someone other than the Minister will inform him, he wrote this material, but I don’t know who to direct it to, but he insists, let me start I wrote to the minister a year ago, but I have not received an answer, he says!

INFORMATION
With the data of 13.9.1983, of the associate “Stilografi”, (former convicted and released with pardon this month), it appears that the former employees of the Internal Affairs bodies, Nevzat Haznedari and Mark Dodani, respectively in the years 1967 and in 1969, they insistently asked the convict X.B. for information about his friend Ramiz Alia. Based on this data, on 21.12.1983, the Operative Worker, Hasan Ulqinaku, met in camp No. 303 in Spaç, the convict X.B. The explanations given by this convict confirm the above statement of B.p. “Stylografi”, specifically (the original information is attached to this material):
“I, X.B., born in the town of Vërve in Konispoli, in 1936, married with two children, with secondary education, was arrested by the Internal Affairs bodies of the district of Saranda, on March 15, 1961, on the charge of – Treason to the homeland – and sentenced to 17 years in prison. While serving the sentence, being in Ward 303, of the Cement Factory in Elbasan, I was arrested by the Elbasan Internal Affairs Branch, where, at that time, Nevzat Haznedari was the head. Akzua was for agitation and propaganda, for a letter addressed to the Political Bureau of the Party.
I called the accusation made against me unfair, since I had not done such an act; the guilt was based on some letters that corresponded in my family letters, drawing them from the conclusion of the graphic expertise. They did everything possible to punish me, even putting a provocateur in the isolation room. To investigate my case, Thanas Çaku was appointed as an investigator, but outside the question of the investigation, I was interrogated by the head of the Branch, Nevzat Haznedari.
His main goal was: That I was not influenced by the convicts P.I. and B.S., but in fact, I had nothing in common with them, as far as matters of a political nature were concerned, but he insisted that I knew things from them and asked the leaders who were at the head of the Party, who were against the line hers, and precisely, she insisted on Ramiz Alia.
However, I did not accept anything from the free investigations with Nevzat Haznedar and at the same time not even with the investigator for what they accused me of, because I had not done such an act and I had no knowledge of anything. On 27.10.1976, the Court of Elbasan sentenced me to another 10 years, but even after the sentence, Nevzat Haznedari tried to get me to accept, but I always stood my ground that: I had not done anything and I did not know what he wanted.
On January 4, 1968, I was taken back to the camp and in April 1968, Camp 303 was transferred to Spač. In the month of June or July, I don’t remember the exact date, I wrote to the Central Committee and precisely to the first secretary, about what had happened to me and at the same time to the Prime Minister, but I did not receive any reply. What I wrote then, I don’t remember completely, but more clearly, the letters themselves have written. With the letters from that time, I did not mention the name of Ramzi Ali, which Nevzat Haznedari was looking for, because I was not clear in which hand the letter fell, and if I mentioned the person’s name, it would have the same harmful consequences, as if I had admitted to the investigator.
But, I have described in the letters that: the Security bodies create unreal things, they want to force people to accept them. As he continued to serve his sentence, in Spaç, in April 1969, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, named Mark Dodani, came and called me, among other things, asked me, after introducing himself who it was, is addressed to me with this question: “We want to know further, perhaps you know, and you can explain to us, which of the leaders we have today, at the head of the Party and the state, who are against the Party’s line “?
“I answered you; that; if he knew something, I could tell him, but since I don’t know anything, because I don’t know any of them, I don’t know what to tell you”! After many debates with him, he insisted and precisely, he mentioned to me the member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee, Ramiz Ali. I replied: From the point of view of the propaganda made by the Party and its press, I know that he is a member of the Political Bureau and something else, I don’t know, and I explained to him that if I knew something, Nevzat would have taught him Haznedari. After much debate on the matter, I did not give him any other explanation. In this conversation, there was also the former Operative of the Camp, Q.E.
I want to say that during all that time, from 1967 until the time when the Party discovered and condemned the hostile actions of Mehmet Shehu and Kadri Hazbiu and their friends, he did not know anything about this matter from me. After the arrest of Kadri Hazbiu, on October 27, 1982, I wrote a nine-page letter to the secretariat of the Central Committee of the PPSh, where I explained in great detail what happened to me.
I have mentioned the member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the PPSh, for the function he performed, but I have not mentioned his name, because I was still sure that I would not spoil his work and create trouble for myself. But still, on March 15, 1983, I addressed a short letter to the member of the Political Bureau and Chairman of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly, Ramiz Ali, where among other things I wrote that; the letter of October 27, without mentioning your name, everything was foreseen for you as a person. That’s it for your information.

REPORT DATED 13.2.1983
Following the conversation that the convict A.K. had with him, the issues are as follows:
A.K., who is his patriot, has shown that he has served 22 years in prison. He was in the Elbasan labor camp until 1969.
I… have told him that in the camp, he got to know the convict N.B., with whom he had formed a friendship since they slept in adjacent beds. He continues: Since I had made friends with N.S., one day they called me to the office and from there they took me and took me to the dungeons of the Elbasan Branch. From the dungeons, they took me several times and took me to the office of Nevzat Haznedari, who was the head of the Branch. Nevzat Haznedari, continues to tell X., asked him what conversations he had with D.S., about Ramiz Ali. Since with me I. D. had not told me anything about Ramiz Ali, I did not accept. Since, continues I. D.N., he had not told me anything about Ramiz Ali, I did not accept.
He (Nevzati), several times when he took me, switched to promises, then to threats. Since I did not accept anything, they took me back to the camp, ordering me that if I said anything, they would make me disappear. In the office, Nevzati took me alone, without any other person present. Nevzati, says X., promised me cooperation and release, if I accepted. Nevzat told me that: “We need to know about the leaders as well”, say I. After about 2 months, I was returned to the camp.
In 1971 here in Spaçi camp, Officer Mark Dodani came and called me saying that Nevzati had sent him. With Mark, there was also an officer named G. Mark Dodani also wanted the same thing, as Nevzati. He welcomed me, but then turned to threats, telling me that they would exterminate me. P.I., shows that I., tells me that he wrote to Mehmet Shehu and the Central Committee, but none of them asked me.
I don’t write anymore because, I’m afraid, they have friends among them and I suffer. I can only give explanations to a person authorized by the management. I have material that proves for hours and days, what they asked me about Ramiz Ali, but these things are harmful, and he suffers badly. If I write to you, I’m afraid I don’t know whose hand the letter might fall into. P., for his part, tells him that, I am afraid that he will inform any other person, except the Minister. He wrote this material, but I don’t know who to address it to, but he insisted on sending it to the Minister, because I wrote to him a year ago, and I didn’t get an answer, he says.
